Tapas Restaurant
$$
“This is one of my all time favourite places to grab a tapas! The atmosphere is always fun and the very friendly staff make you feel most welcome. Located just a few mins walk from Magdalen Bridge on the Cowley Road. If you are looking for a vibrant place to eat, then give it a try! You won’t be disappointed.”

Thai Restaurant

“Oli's Thai is incredible, but it has a massive waiting list. If you haven't booked ahead (it can take anything up to three months) then it might be worth your while turning up at the beginning of a lunch service (just before 12) or just before seven and seeing if they have any cancellations. Their lunch is often easier to get into as well. They are lovely. The food there is superb and very reasonably priced, given its success. It is on Magdalen Rd, turn right out of the door, take the first left and then the next right. ”

“The Isis Farmhouse is a riverside music pub on the Thames towpath near Iffley, only accessible by foot or boat. Very popular in summer for its large, tree-shaded, family-friendly beer garden by the river and as a year-round venue for trad jazz, folk, country and world music. ”

“A hidden gem very popular with students and locals. Good food. Some outside space. From the bottom of Broad St (Opposite end to George St/Waterstones book shop) see the historic college bridge (the Bridge of Sighs) at the beginning of Queen’s Lane. By this bridge, see a small walkway on your left - follow this to find the pub. ”

“This Jericho institution has been mixing up cocktails for decades, and has won awards for doing it particularly well. With an advertised 50 rums, 18 gins, 25 tequilas and 40 whiskies, the quality comes from the freshly squeezed juices and homemade syrups the spirits are mixed with, as well as its retro, subterranean venue, professional bartenders and guest DJs. ”
