Spacious cottage (except the kitchen), clean and pleasant. It is well suited for several couples. The kids especially enjoyed the games, the garden and animals.

We had a very pleasant stay in this house for all time by heavy rain it is very large, well insulated and the children were happy to take advantage of all the available toys. The next day in good weather we had lunch outside under a beautiful sun. A special mention to the baker who spends the morning to deliver bread and croissants! Furthermore, the house is very well placed to visit both the battle site of Verdun as Eparges ... not to mention friendly addresses like winemakers! Try it especially when it comes to two families!

We spent two days at Sophie and Stephane. Everything was perfect. The warm hospitality of our hosts, the tens of small intentions (the table was set) was offered plum home, open library, Nespresso, coffee, huge rooms. When we arrived the fire crackled in the fireplace.The gainier wood in the kitchen was on and we were able to cook good food. I do not see what I could say anything bad because Sophie and Stephane are understanding people and human al listening. Hotels and rentals in this region are very rares.N not hesitate one minute Sneak away ..... home.

We've spent a great weekend at Sophie's house. Firstly, speaking of host, she's very comprehensive and trustful cuz I guess it's not easy to rent your house for 12 people. Anyway, she was okay with that and her house was perfectly adapted for that amount of people. Sophie was always on a contact, eager to answer to any kind of questions. Then, the house is gorgeous just like on pix. It's easy to access from an autoroute or a national highway, the neighborhood is peaceful. Even though the garden (the huuuge one) is shared with neighbors, we didn't even cross or hear them them. We've been lucky to have a good weather the weekend we stayed there so we enjoyed the garden a lot. Thank you again for hosting us in your house, it's been a big pleasure!

Sophie and Stéphane us admirably well received. Everything was done for our comfort, the house is perfect for a quiet weekend with friends. well located, functional and quiet house. Clean and well equipped. Atypical because you sleep in the farm (dairy cows). A half hour of Verdun sites and 1/2 of Fort fermont (Maginot Line). Car necessary. Supermarket and shops tin 10 minutes drive.

This is a nice little haven of peace eccentric city. without it it well and the bedding is ideal. There is also the benefit suplementaires lovely as the house apple juice.

Willem and Marian's property is situated on a working farm that worked brilliantly for the whole family. There was great conuntryside to walk our dog and a games room for us to entertain a teenager. The location was ideal for visiting the major Verdun battlefield and monuments.

very warm welcome from Marian and Willem, who very kindly offered us to watch the milking of cows. The housing complies in all respects to the description. It is a haven for those looking for peace and authenticity. Easy access to various sites Verdun, and all amenities are nearby.

William and Marian were great, very friendly! The accommodation is on a working farm and perfect for a weekend visiting Verdun battlefield and the surrounding area. Everything was as it had been described. It was spacious and very comfortable. We didn't use the kitchen but it looked like it had everything you would need. The double bed, I was told, was very comfortable but the sofa bed was quite uncomfortable and I wouldn't want to sleep in it for much longer than a night or 2. Overall, we had a very enjoyable time there.

Cottage was located on a working dairy farm. Short 7 km drive to local village of Etain for dinner if you don't want to utilise the modern fully equipped kitchen. Beer and fresh home made apple juice is provided in the fridge for a modest charge. Lovely quiet spacious rural location.

Frederick's welcome made us feel very much at home in an instant. His home is warm and inviting. He is the perfect host. After showing us our room he had a lovely pot of tea ready in the garden with home made biscuits. He took an interest in our travels and provided us with lots of information about the area and of places to see and things to do. We were very grateful for this because we saw things that we would otherwise not have seen without his local information. Lastly, the breakfast is a real treat, plentiful and delicious, sourced from local produce. This truly is a BnB heaven!

The appartment is really huge. Abel put a lot of work and creativity into it. The furniture and decoration fits very good in that house. Some doors are difficult to close and here and there you can find a blemish but that's ok because the house is old. The garden is very big and suitable for children. We enjoyed the calm at this place. Abel is a very nice host who took the time to explain everything. Highly advisable

Superb Vintage decoration, full of originality, humor and history, where the most singular objects found a second life. Everything is there, with a lovely garden, even the deck 33 laps works wonders. Near a bakery and a small grocery store, ideal for visiting Verdun. Abel us feel extremely welcome. We highly recommend this comfortable and cozy home.

We were very well received at the Hay Barn. Our hosts had provided lots of little touches to our arrival: basket with local produce, fresh milk in the fridge for our first breakfast, courtesy products in the bathroom, books, games and information about the region. The cottage offers comfort "modern" (dishwasher tumble dryer via wifi); the beds are good and perfectly quiet, so we slept there very well. Down the street, a bakery and a grocery allow small errands. Hay Barn is ideally situated for exploring the Lorraine, Metz, Nancy, Verdun, make you want history, urban tourism or green walks. It is a good base for touring the area when the weather is part of it!

The welcome from Philip and Brigitte is the friendliest. The sweets on arrival, the regional documentation available, the beautiful decoration of the house ... Everything contributes immediately to make us comfortable in our base. The plum pie Brigitte, the little wine and pate countries, plums, eggs, muffins, but coffee and sugar ready on arrival ... We will not forget anything! Accustomed to the region for over ten years, he certainly is one of the coolest cottages we occupied. A warmly recommend for a couple with child! We enjoyed our stay at Philippe's house. It is spacious, well equipped and very clean. There were two good size bedrooms, two bathrooms and a great kitchen dining area. There is a washing machine and dryer which was fabulous as we had been travelling for many days. The village is very quiet but well located to Verdun, if you are visiting the battlefields. Recommend taking food with you as there is only one local shop that is not always open.

Chantal's vacation home was one of the best value airbnb's that we've stayed at with children. The home was spacious and well appointed for a relaxing stay- plenty of cookware for preparing meals, a large kitchen, and even a crib and a box of toys that kept the kids occupied, along with a lovely little garden and playhouse. I would also have to say that this is one of the most spotless vacation homes we've stayed at, and everything was in perfect working order. The town is small and very rural, and at night was absolutely quiet and peaceful, but was also a short drive from bakeries and grocery stores. We were visiting the area to visit World War I sites, and the house is about a half hour drive through a bucolic landscape to the Verdun memorial and museum, and the Douaumont ossuary. The whole area is rich with military history, but if this doesn't interest you, the beautiful countryside full of apricot orchards and pastoral French villages are also noteworthy in and of themselves. Chantal and her husband were very gracious hosts, and check in and out were trouble free. I would definitely stay here if we return to the region. Thanks again for the lovely stay!

The house is just wonderful, both inside as the surrounding landscape. Widely spacious, cozy and fully equipped for everything you need in a home. Furthermore, it is in a perfect location to visit the Natural Park of Lorraine, just a few steps. Chantal and her husband were very kind to us and although not dominábamos no common language was not a problem for us to understand them and understand. In short, a rural experience highly recommended.
