“Make a day and an evening of it in the sunset City! Walk round the Castle, see the seals. Kipper & bacon baps on the kiosk on the outer Quay. Climb up the hill to Corrins Folly are enjoy the view. Have a swim at Fenella Beach. Let the kids play on the beach or if its raining the Viking Museum (House of Mannanin) is a must. Have a locally made Isle ofMan icecream BUT WATCH THE SEAGULLS! Wander through the very quaint streets of Old Peel. Wonder along to the smokeries at the top of the Harbour, highly recommend Moore's smoked bacon and Devereau's scallops and kippers. Have a pint at the Creek, good for seafood and reasonably priced, or fine dining at Filbeys or the Boat House on the Quay.”
