Places to stay in Pittsburgh
Our space is walking or biking distance from the Strip District, Downtown, PNC Park, Heinz Field, some great local hangouts, and public transport. You’ll love our place because of the ambiance, comfy bed, and the Brooklyn-like neighborhood. It's perfect for couples, solo adventurers, and anyone looking to stay for an extended period of time!
Located in the heart of Deutschtown in the Northside of Pittsburgh. This historic four-story building was once was an elegant palace with marble mantels, clawfoot tubs, and decadent chandeliers, but over time, it fell into disrepair. A friend and I saw incredible potential in this old building, bought it, and painstakingly over the course of a year totally renovated the space, transforming it into a reinvigorated form of its former glory. In order to connect the building with its history and keep its character, wherever possible, we retained and restored the original architectural details, while simultaneously giving it an industrial-vintage look with modern and eclectic accents.
Deutschtown, part of Pittsburgh's Northside, is the Brooklyn of Pittsburgh. It's the most racially and economically diverse neighborhood in town, with an array of things to offer: live Jazz, the oldest bar in Pittsburgh, Banjo night, breweries, great restaurants, a huge city park, and more. On top of that, we're within walking/biking distance to the Strip District, Downtown, PNC Park, and Heinz Field.
  • Had an issue with my phone unlocking the Bluetooth enabled lock, and they were nothing short of courteous, attentive, and lovely. The neighborhood isn't super central, but the space is beautiful and it's so easy to get around Pittsburgh that it doesn't matter.

  • Billy has created a fantastic space with that we would definitely stay at again. A lot of thought clearly went into making sure guests' needs were accommodated and he was great about checking in to see if we needed anything else

  • Incredibly priced and a beautiful place! Billy and co. were incredibly helpful and communicative. The area is a good launchpad for getting to other areas in Pittsburgh. Would stay again and would recommend to friends!

  • This place was perfect for us! Billy had cranked up the heat so it was cozy upon arrival. There was parking on the same block (we ignored the permit parking only and it was fine). The apartment was cool and quiet despite being so close to downtown. We were a 5 minute drive from everything in Pittsburgh. Billy was amenable and responsive. I had a few questions and he got right back to me. I highly recommend this listing.

    Kayla2016-12-18T00:00:00Z
  • Great space and location! We loved the apartment.

    Erin2018-06-08T00:00:00Z
  • Billy's apartment was very comfortable and quaint. He was very communicative and gave great recommendations in Pittsburgh. We enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend staying here!

    Andrew2016-12-23T00:00:00Z
  • Close to everything we wanted to see! Parking was a little confusing but parking in the lot made it easier. Place is very well done and decorated nicely. We could walk to the north shore areas and the Warhol Museum. Had a great stay!

    Jessica2017-03-26T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I were so impressed with this listing. We were only about a 9-15 minute drive to all of our destinations, including The Andy Warhol Museum, Southside Works and E Carson Street. There was some dust throughout the apartment but nothing to be concerned about. Overall, this was a very comforting and pleasant experience. We enjoyed it so much, we plan on returning in the near future. :) thanks again, Billy, Kate and Dan!

Ever want to stay in a Tiny House just to see what it is like? Well now you can. You will be amazed how big this Tiny House is. 11 foot ceilings, tons of windows & light, full size bath, great kitchen, & 2 sleeping lofts. Close to everything - minutes to Downtown, the North Shore, South Side, Shadyside, & Oakland. Plus it's on the light rail T-line - w/ a stop right at the bottom of our front steps. So easy access to Heinz Field, PNC Park, the Casino, Downtown, & Station Square.
The Tiny House is brand new construction - having just been completed in November 2016. It's finished in a style and with materials similar to something you would find on HGTV. You will find it's very well equipped with everything needed to make your stay as perfect as possible. For starters, there is high speed WIFI - so feel free to bring your laptop and all of your mobile devices for work or play. The main floor of the Tiny House is just under 200 square feet, with a full kitchen, living area, and a full sized bathroom. In addition there is a 64 square foot sleeping loft with a very comfortable queen sized bed and a 32 square foot sleeping loft with a twin bed. The living room also has a queen size sleeper sofa - so it can sleep up to 5 total guests....if you really like each other :) When you first enter the Tiny House you are in a very chic, mini chefs kitchen. It features hand poured concrete counters, a designer glass tile backsplash, 2 burner gas cooktop, full size undermount sink with industrial faucet, 24" stainless steel fridge with separate freezer, full size dishwasher, barstool counter seating for 2, and huge pantry cabinet with plenty of storage. There is also a separate full pantry cabinet in the kitchen (the cabinet closest to the steps) that is a dedicated clothes closet with a bar for hanging clothes and also multiple shelves. In the living room you have amazing ceiling height with a wall of 6 windows that make the room sparkle with sunshine. There is a full size couch and leather ottoman - and above the couch is another set of 3 transom windows that makes the room feel even more airy. Finally there are steps that lead to the main sleep loft and a 40" smart TV that is loaded with Netflix and other video/TV streaming sites. You will be amazed by how big the Tiny House bathroom is. 4 foot wide by eight feet long - it is bigger then some baths in normal homes. The shower is gigantic (I am 6'1" and over 200 lbs and am not cramped in slightest in it) with amazing water pressure and a custom beveled subway tile surround - a perfect way to start your morning or unwind after a long day of touring the city. The main sleeping loft has an insanely comfortable pillow top queen sized mattress - where you can dreamily drift off to sleep after a busy day or blissfully sleep in for some well deserved rest and relaxation. Outside the entry door there is a 200 square foot private courtyard that is dedicated just to the Tiny House. The courtyard is completely surrounded by a 6' privacy fence so you can enjoy the private outdoor space and also come and go as you please without disturbing anyone. In the courtyard there is a gas grill for your use and come spring, outdoor patio furniture. Additional amenities included with your stay: BATHROOM Towels Wash Cloths Hair Dryer Shampoo Conditioner Body Wash KITCHEN Dishwashing Detergent Glasses, Dishes, and Silverware Pots, Pans, Knives, and Cooking Utensils Microwave Kureig Coffee Maker with Coffee, Creamer, Sugar, Sweetener Tea Kettle and Tea Britta Pitcher with Cold, Filtered Water Condiments including Ketchup, Mustard, Hot Sauce, Ranch, and Mayo Salt, Pepper, Other Herbs/Spices Olive Oil Wine Glasses, Champagne Flutes, and Wine/Beer Bottle Opener Stainless Drink Mixer/Shaker w/ Shot Glasses Red Solo Cups Blender OTHER Bed Linens Gas Grill Iron and Ironing Board Deck of Playing Cards Smart TV The T (Trolley) Schedule Booklet of Things to Know, Places to Go and Where to Eat in the Area The Tiny House does not have laundry facilities. If you require them, please let us know and we can set you up with a local service or get you directions to the closest laundry mat.
  • The tiny house was great fun. This was something our kids will always remember and they loved the fact the house had beds above the sitting area and living area. All in all the tiny house must be only around 3m x 12m long but had space for a nice kitchen and sitting area and nice bathroom with hot shower. We went as a family of 5, there were 3 double beds in total including the sofa bed and it was real fun to visit to this with the whole family. So recommended for a family or a couple as a great place to spend the night.

    Rodrigo2017-04-06T00:00:00Z
  • Exactly how it was decided would definitely recommend this tiny house and would definitely stay here again.

    Christopher2017-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay in the tiny house. For those that may want to know, the trailer is on jack stands and is much sturdier than I had anticipated. I hardly noticed any movement at all in case you are sensitive to motion sickness. We survived an incredible windy time with no issues. amenities were covered. comfortable bed, good internet, plenty of coffee, and lots of room to sleep people. Thorough explanations and list of local places. Close to downtown. All needed information was covered and well organized. All in all we loved the tiny house experience. Casey's house was well made, equipped and modern. Loved all of the sunlight pouring in the extra windows. There are some steeper roads leading up to the house, use caution in inclement weather.

    Cory2017-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • The tiny house is a fun place to stay while in Pittsburgh. The tiny house had everything you could need during your stay. Very close to the T which made getting around much easier to enjoy yourself. Would highly recommend staying at the tiny house.

    Amanda2018-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • This house is so cute and the perfect way to experience Pittsburgh with a little fun at the end of the day. It has everything you need to be comfortable.

  • Loved the tiny house! Great for two people, bright and airy, easy to get to and easy to get around PGH from the house. We'd love to stay here again!

Live like you are staying in an upgraded King's suite hotel with a courtyard and the modern comforts of home. Close the storefront shutters for complete solitude after enjoying urban living with a short drive to the city's strip district.
This is a 'Residential' space in front of our Historic German Cemetery. It would require driving @8 blocks in order to get to a business district (markets, bars & restaurants). We purchased this only brick house in the Troy Hill District when I was 27 and Russ was 23. We bought it for $4000 from the sister of the "Handyman" that had lived here for 95 years. He served under General Patton and we found his honorable metals and gave it to Milly (his sister). We gutted the space and it took us maybe 5 years (we had other jobs) to fully complete it for it's first tenant. It's had many 're-do's': 1) Emergency housing - for many of our friends and workers who needed temporary help. 2) 2 years with a VP of Operations of a cool startup - He filled the front porch with flowers & everyone knew him in the neighborhood! 3) Our Construction Company Offices - It housed 5 desks and architectural drawings on the spacious walls. 4) Now... an Airbnb. How cool. It's been fully remodeled, given a new coat of paint, and fully furnished with mostly 'loved' stuff we've collected through the years. And we've enjoyed it thoroughly. We already have a plan for 'Lowrie Studio Court' 2.0! Courtyard is not the sanctuary I've envisioned, but getting there. We have 4 butterfly koi and 3 frogs right now. And the fountain is going and it makes such a wonderful sound... We hope we have thought of everything that we would enjoy if we were traveling. We tend to be spoiled and tried to consider everything - down to quality shampoo, a good coffee, and lots of outlets. Hope we meet and you enjoy our little urban sanctuary as much as Russell, I and the kids do!
Lowrie Studio Court is located in Pittsburgh's Historic German District. It's now a mixture of all economic levels and racial ethnicity. Our 2 new restaurants opened on 'the hill'. One is called 'scratch' where even the ketchup is made from scratch. Additionally, you can go right to the bottom and get an authentic German dinner and amazing 'Penn Brewery' beer. There is a nice outdoor courtyard and some nights have live music. Stay on the Northside: East Ohio Street offers "the Bistro to go" for amazing already prepared foods. Explore the areas jazz bars. Or drive further and visit the Children's Museum or the National Aviary. A few more blocks and you're at the Andy Warhol Museum and then the Stadiums and our Casino! Go over the bridge and you'll be in our Strip District. Park on Penn ave or Smallman and walk through to get a good taste of our local ethnic markets. Our convention center is only a few blocks away from the strip. It's not difficult to walk anywhere from there to experience the Opera, or Symphony. Drive (or bike) over the 31st bridge and you'll find the most progressive neighborhood, Lawrenceville. On Butler street, you'll find unique shops and restaurants. Want to be in a more 'party' atmosphere? Take a drive to the South side of Pittsburgh, on Carson, where there are the most bars and head shops per square mile than in any other location of Pittsburgh. Want to be a true tourist? Get a front view of the city, eat at Pittsburgh's Hard Rock Cafe, while watching an amazing musical fountain..., all at 'Station Square' (still on South side). In the afternoon, take a 'Ducky Tour' right from there and see the city from a river view! It's truly worth the ride! There is just so much. If you tell us your interests and where you want to go, you'll be amazed at how this studio is an awesome location to get to many of those attractions.
  • Kim is so kind and welcoming! From the moment we met her, she went out of her way to make sure we had everything that we needed. The studio was clean and adorable. She provided water and snacks for us. I wish we could have stayed longer. Kim is an excellent host!

    Emily2015-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Kim's place is fantastic. She's very communicative and thoughtful. We had never traveled with our dog, but Kim made us comfortable doing so, and it worked out great. Great location, close to downtown.

    Jonathan2016-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • A clean, lovely studio apartment with loads of charm! But it's Kim's little touches that make it extra special. I fully recommend!

    Angie B.2016-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • Kim is such a sweet person! She left a personal note for me on the fridge and there are several cute and welcoming notes at different spots in the house. The room is clean and well decorated. The bathroom and kitchen have everything we needed and we are impressed by the visitor booklet she made. She included different flyers of occurring events in town, places worth visiting and flyers of restaurants near by. We really love the little town and the people living there are really nice and friendly to us! There is only one thing: since this is a studio, the bed is right next to the front door. My mother is a light sleeper so she woke up a few times by the car and street noises at night. But overall we love the place and appreciate Kim's hospitality!

    Tibby2016-05-25T00:00:00Z
  • Kim's place was great! Beautiful apartment and convenient location. Kim messaged us before our arrival with details of how to get in and had a book with recommendations for things to do. We parked car right outside and visited the incline and a couple breweries. Will definitely look Kim up on our next trip!

    Dan2015-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • Kim's place was very convenient, and Kim responded quickly.

    Karen2018-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • I absolutely loved staying in this apartment. I was traveling cross country and staying at Kim's apartment was like an oasis of comfort and tranquility. Everything is so beautifully decorated and the apartment was easy to find. Kim was very prompt and descriptive in how to get to the apartment and get in. She also suggested what to do in the area. Absolutely loved this place!

    Kelsey2015-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • The studio is pretty. It does not have a cooking stove which made my visit to Pittsburgh on Christmas vacation with my 4 year old and 1 year old that much more difficult. Being a vegan family we didn't have the option of our favorite restaurants either because everything was closed for the holiday break. Kim was helpful in trying to come up with quick solutions for us not to be so inconvenienced during our stay. It was a very stressful Christmas break in the Burgh.

  • Dave & Robin's place is very clean and roomy. For all you out of town Steelers and Pirates fans, Dave & Robin's place is within 7-10 minutes drive time to Heinz Field and PNC Park (and all the great downtown restaurants). The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom are newly remodeled and the shower was terrific. We highly recommend their place for anyone traveling to the Steel City!

    John2017-06-13T00:00:00Z
  • Dave was friendly and responded quickly.

    Alex2018-01-25T00:00:00Z
  • Dave and Robin’s place was sparkling clean and very comfortable. Just a short drive away from downtown, it’s close enough to drive back and forth between the city or take an inexpensive Uber but also is in a nice, quiet residential neighborhood. I would definitely stay at their place again in any future visits to Pittsburgh.

    Marisa2018-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • It was my first time using Airbnb, and will not be my last thanks to Dave & Robin. Everything was nice and easy, rooms were spotless, nice touches to decor, bathroom and kitchen were very nice. Living room and bedroom were as well.

    Keegan2018-06-26T00:00:00Z
  • LOOK NO FURTHER if you're considering this place! Beautiful apartment with lots of amenities. Warm and welcoming. Short drive or Uber to downtown / other common areas. Our host was incredibly responsive & seems like an all-around great guy. Would give it more stars if I could. Thank you for helping to make our Pittsburgh trip an extra special one!

    Romelle2017-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • Glad we found this place. It's perfect if you're visiting town for a bit. The interior is really nice, especially the rain shower and jet tub. Highly recommend a stay with Dave and Robin.

    Tom2017-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • Great spot to stay at. Very centrally located, never was more than 25 minutes driving to anything we wanted. The bathrooms was worth the stay itself, a rain shower and a jet tub. Would stay again next time around.

Welcome to the Alpine Hut! This Airbnb is on the first floor of an 1890's home in the Mexican War Streets (30 minute walk to downtown, 20 minute walk to the stadiums). Recently redone, you have access to your own room, bathroom and porch, as well as your own private entry. We have a minifridge and microwave, as well as a coffee area for your use. Parking for one car is included. We welcome everyone into our home.
Our Airbnb is a private suite in our 1890's home, located in the Mexican War Streets neighborhood of Pittsburgh! In our opinion the Northside is the best neighborhood in Pittsburgh, and we'd love to show you why. With this Airbnb, you get your own room, bathroom and porch, as well as your own entry. We are blocks away from the Mattress Factory and Randyland, and our neighborhood offers plenty of delicious restaurants, a brewery, as well as the city's oldest park and the National Aviary. We're close to downtown (1.5 miles) the stadiums (1.2 miles) and major highways (less than 1 mile), making this room is perfect for all kinds of travelers. Everything is easily accessed by car, bike, or walking; we have parking on the premises and a bike share is a few blocks away! *NOTE: this Airbnb listing comes with ONE parking space. If you come with two cars and wish to park both on our parking pad, it will be an additional $10 fee. We sometimes need to park back there, too! We have two (VERY) friendly cats and a dog roaming around our areas of the house. While we try to keep them separate from the Airbnb space, guests sometimes love them as much as we do and let them in to hang out. Although all linens and towels are changed between guests and the space is thoroughly cleaned, if you have severe allergies to animals the space might not be for you.
The Mexican War Streets is in the Northside area of Pittsburgh. Originally part of Allegheny City, our neighborhood was annexed into Pittsburgh in 1890. We are a proud lot, and there is still a sense of fierce independence in the area. Our neighborhood really has it all - terrific restaurants of all kinds, bakeries, and coffee shops. There is a brewery, a tap house and plenty of bars. We're super close to East Park, the oldest park in the city, as well as the National Aviary. The Mattress Factory and Randyland are blocks away from our back door. We can see Heinz Field (and a bit of PNC Park) from our porch, and the Carnegie Science Center and casino are also close by. But the best part of our neighborhood is just walking around and looking at all of the incredible little houses! It's a great place to just walk around and soak in the city.
  • The Alpine Hut is an amazing place in an amazing location. Walking distance through the historical neighbourhood, culture and downtown. The hosts exceed all expectations with their kindness and hospitality. Would recommend to any visitors visiting Pittsburgh to get a true appreciation of the wonderful city. GO BUCS GO!!

    Matthew2018-04-29T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome place!! It was super convenient to downtown areas as well as the south side. Such a clean, safe and great place to stay! It was perfect for what we needed. The host added some snacks, coffee and water which was really great & there were also notes on local places to go to during our stay. I would absolutely go back again, it was a great place!

  • Susan's place was very cozy and comfy. We made great friends with her cat who was incredibly friendly. The location is great and we were able to walk to downtown and to the nearby museum. Would definitely recommend staying here!

    Alina2018-04-01T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely experience and were lucky enough to experience the porch and yard with annuals, peonies, and shrubs in bloom. The suite is thoughtfully set up and comfortable.

    Christine2018-05-25T00:00:00Z
  • Alpine Hut was clean. Available parking for car was an asset to me. Check in process was easy. Hosts were available if needed to answer questions.

    Diane2018-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • Really great spot. Private deck, private keyless entrance, your own bathroom, off street parking, comfortable bed. It's my favorite place to stay when I'm in Pittsburgh.

    David2017-11-30T00:00:00Z
  • This room was an absolute gem and highly underrated! Perfect space for my boyfriend and I during our short Pittsburgh visit. The interior decor was beautiful, and Susan/Ryan provided great tips for local sites to visit as well as food options! In terms of location, it couldn't be better! 5 minute walk to Randyland and the Mattress Factory, multiple coffeeshops in a few block radius, and a 20 minute walk right to downtown with beautiful architecture to view along the way. I cannot recommend this place enough and will definitely try to stay here again when in Pittsburgh!

    Aminata2018-03-27T00:00:00Z

This Mini Studio is for anyone needing a neat, clean, cool place to stay. It has a new queen bed, sleeper sofa, a kitchenette and a full bathroom with a private entrance on the 3rd floor of a beautiful 1890s Pittsburgh mansion. It's the size of a large room and works very well with guests that are planning to work, or go out enjoying the city and come back to a safe, clean and comfy place to recharge for the night. The kitchenette is only suitable for making light fares, please note.
This beautiful Pittsburgh home has just been deeply remodeled with brand new walls, soundproofing floors, solid doors, plumbing, wiring, and high tech bathrooms. Each studio is setup with Bluetooth bathroom speakers and 48" Vizio SmartCast TV's for you to cast any castable entertainment you can send from your device (incl. Netflix, Youtube, Pluto TV, local OnAir TV, IHeart Radio, etc). Furniture, bedding, towels, utensils, etc are all new.
Friendship was a very wealthy neighborhood built up in the 1890s heyday of Pittsburgh steel boom. In the depressed 1970s these beautiful large family homes were often divided into apartments but many have since been remodeled into original large family mansions. It's now a mix of families and young professionals working at CMU, Uber ATG, Google, Apple and the many local hospitals.
  • Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our trip was perfected by Natallia’s beautiful space.

    Colleen2017-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • Great studio in a wonderful location! Natallia is super nice and the studio was very clean. Walking distance to a bunch of coffee shops and restaurants but also in a quiet area. I recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in a cool artsy area in Pittsburgh.

    Chloe2017-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • Natallia’s place is clean, quiet, updated, and in a central location. There was plenty of privacy to come and go as we please as well as easy to access security. We had every needed amenity and Natalia was quick to communicate with us if we had any questions. Our bed was comfortable and we had more than enough space to lounge after a busy day in the city. We enjoyed walking to coffee and sandwich shops and also to some unique businesses just down the street. Parking was somewhat of a hassle at times but that’s just part of living in Pittsburgh. We highly recommend a stay at Natallia’s studio apartment. Anne and Randy

    Anne2017-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • It was everything we needed - good location with all the necessities, radiator warmed (yum!), and clear communication from start to finish. It's a mini studio with ample space for two. Still, the bathroom is slender & the sink might pose an issue for face washing - it's a tad awkward. We managed just fine, but could be a thing. Great neighborhood location launch point for Pittsburgh exploration. Lots of good stuff nearby on foot or via bus.

    Laura2018-03-30T00:00:00Z
  • Natallia’s place was perfect for our weekend stay. It was in a quiet neighborhood within reasonable walking distance from a bunch of nice places to go. The inside was very modern and really clean. The AC also worked great which was a huge relief since it was 90+ when we were there.

    Brian2018-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was spotless and very well appointed. Parking was free on the street and we were always able to find a space close to the apartment. The apartment is a also ideally situated, being only a few minutes drive from downtown Pittsburgh. Would highly recommend Natallia’s apartment as a place to stay in the Pittsburgh area. There were also nice touches of free coffee, tea, bottled water, fruit, and snacks. Natallia responded very quickly to all of our questions.

    Alexander2018-03-27T00:00:00Z
  • Great space: accessible; comfortable; reasonably priced. Natallia is a gracious and communicative host. Highly recommended for staying in that area of Pittsburgh.

  • Amy's place was awesome! I felt like I was at a mini-spa while I was there. The jacuzzi is lovely, and Amy has provided face masks, bath products, a high-quality hair dryer, and aromatherapy for guests. It was really very nice. She was super easy to be in contact with, and I loved knowing that she was right upstairs if I had any problems. She provided all the information I needed to check in to the apartment well ahead of my arrival, and I had no problem settling in. The Strip District is a great place to be in Pittsburgh. Parking was easy, and I walked to a great breakfast at the Smallman Gallery in the morning. So much was in walking distance! Amy provided some guides for nearby Pittsburgh neighborhoods in the apartment, too. I highly recommend this apartment.

  • Super cute apartment in a great location. We were in town for a conference and were walking distance from the conference center- as well as shops, bars and other cool local spots. Amy was an amazing host who helped with everything and anything. Definitely recommend staying here!

  • Amy's place was phenomenal! As a Pittsburgh native, the location was impeccable and close to shops that you can't miss if you're visiting! Don't think twice about booking and visit the local coffee shop La Prima when you check out!

  • Great cozy, eclectic apartment on a ground floor in the heart of the Strip District. One can walk to all area attractions. Amy was a great host, answered questions right away. Definitely recommend. Modestly priced, too! Also has a great kitchen with dishwasher.

  • We had an apartment in the city! Just one night, coming in from our rural lives, but such a great Pittsburgh experience. Walking distance through the bustling Strip District, to a great Argentinian restaurant. Met up with friends and went to a performance by Pittsburgh's Quantum Theatre. Loved getting back to the super clean, uncluttered, private city space. Nice linens and a comfortable bed. We hope to book Amy's place again, soon!

    Blanche2017-11-16T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience at Amy’s place. She provided all of the amenities you would want and more! She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable in her space. It was easy to find the location, there was free street parking, and there was a self check in box. Upon arrival the apartment was extremely clean and she provided us with essential oils, a diffuser for the oils, face masks, a bath bomb, heart shaped tea lights, and little fake rose petals as a cute touch! She had a coffee maker, coffee, and tea options. The cabinets were stocked with any silverware, plates, cups, and anything you might need. She provided soap, shampoo, conditioner, and face wash. Also little room freshener sprays were provided! The bath tub was amazing, and there was also a nice shower. The bed had a nice blanket and pillows. My boyfriend and I only stayed for a night but we had an incredible time!

  • Stayed here pretty spontaneously on a road trip back through PA. Booked a few hours before we got there (instead of just using a hotel).. there was enough room for 3 of us with the blow up mattress. Cute spot, sad I didn't get to explore more of the surrounding area!

  • My friends and I had a great time at Amy’s place. It was our first time in Pittsburgh and Amy made us feel right at home! Definitely recommend staying with her in her awesome space with cool vibes! Come worship in the house of La Croix!

  • Stephanie's house is on a quiet street in the lovely and historic neighborhood of Bellevue. The house is stunning and charmingly decorated, I absolutely loved the chair in the room you first encounter upon entering the home. The bed was among the most comfortable I've encountered at stays on airbnb or at a hotel. The home is conveniently located with a short walk to the shopping/dining district of Bellevue. Stephanie and her daughter were a pleasure to converse with and I'd look forward to staying here again!

    Emma2018-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy, quiet, clean, etc... Not to far from all the hot spots. Very nice woman with an extremely well kept home. Supplies all your needs (towels, blankets, pillows, sheets) all fresh. Definitely going back here when back in town.

    Austin2018-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Stephanie was a wonderful host. We did not see much of her as we keep to ourselves, but she was always available if we needed something and responded in a timely manner. The house is charming and makes you feel like you're walking back in time. There was always street parking available close by. I would stay again. Great value as well!

  • Loved it! Super cute home had a great stay!

    Zoe2018-05-05T00:00:00Z
  • This is hands down one of the best AirBnBs that I have ever stayed in. The room is absolutely beautiful. Stephanie put on the AC for me before I arrived which was much appreciated in the heat wave Pittsburgh was experiencing! The neighborhood is quiet and residential. Stephanie's place is spotless and tastefully decorated. The room I stayed in was huge and has a comfortable bed. The upstairs kitchen was also great and Stephanie provides really good tea and coffee. Stephanie also provided detailed, personalized directions to her house depending on where you're coming from which I found thoughtful. I had a lovely and relaxing time here.

  • Zachary's place was like crashing into a friends apartment. The room and the bathroom is simple but is kept very clean, fast wifi, TV with NHL Network (personally that was a plus) and is a walking distance to anywhere in downtown. I arrived feeling under the weather, and asked if I can have an extra heater--- and Zachary was kind enough to offer one right away that REALLY saved me.

Super cute space in Strip, great downtown neighborhood. Perfect for couples or solo travelers ready to explore the city! The strip is centrally located between Cultural District and Lawrenceville. Easy walk/bike ride to both stadiums/pen's arena and downtown! Easy access to convention center, and the central location also makes it very easy to get to all of the universities around town. Piles of spots to explore in my neighborhood! New bed frame/mattress-replaced mid November 2018. Free parking
Sunny one bedroom apartment in the Strip District of Pittsburgh. Perfect for a couple or individual ready to explore the city! The living room has a huge window, flooding the kitchen and living room with sunshine! Although my space is just over 700 square feet-the 20 foot ceilings in the front room make it airy and spacious. A well equipped kitchen has everything you need for a night in, but with all of the amazing restaurants around, you probably wont want to stay in! Please note, I provide fresh clean linens and towels for you stay but please be sure to bring your own toiletries!
My neighborhood is FULL of local restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, bars, and shops in walking distance from my apartment. The open markets in the strip make for an exciting afternoon shop(especially on Saturday and Sunday)! I also have a list of my favorite neighborhood spots waiting for you as well as a cool city guide! But if you need some more specialized recommendations, please ask! I love my city and am happy to brag about all it has to offer! My place is a 10 minute walk to downtown, Lawrenceville, and Bloomfield-all fun areas that are equally as exciting as the strip! Whether you're in town to catch a show, attend a convention, or cheer on your favorite sports team-my place will make it super easy to get there quickly and easily!
  • A beautiful apartment minutes away from Pittsburgh's great attractions. We only spent one night but we were very pleased. You will not be let down by booking with Abbie!

    Jeremy2016-06-22T00:00:00Z
  • Abbie's place was perfectly located near Strip District restaurants and markets, and buses to take you wherever else you want to go! The apartment was lovely and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Pittsburgh!

    Hillary2016-03-20T00:00:00Z
  • clean, comfortable apartment in a great location. Abbie is a reliable host, available and accommodating. Good experience all in all.

    Yakov2015-05-25T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great stay in Abbie's apartment, over the weekend. Perfect for 2, comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. Abbie worked with us for an earlier check-in, which was a great help, and was quick with all communications. Her apartment is right near the Strip District, which is fabulous! I highly recommend breakfast at Enrico's! Back the alley, next to the biscotti store, it was exceptional! Pittsburgh is an incredible city!

    Carey2015-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • Abbie's apartment was a perfect home base for my Pittsburgh trip! Lots of great restaurants nearby and an easy walk into downtown for my conference. The apartment itself was very clean and well maintained. Although I never met Abbie in person, she was extremely friendly and helpful over chat. I would definitely stay here again!

    Andy2015-05-21T00:00:00Z
  • Abbie was very easy to communicate with and very accommodating! When she learned of the reason for our visit she suggested an earlier check in so that we would have more time to prepare for our evening! We were very happy with the accommodations and would definitely stay again if we have the opportunity. Parking is on the street but we had no problems.

    William2015-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • Very cute little apartment in a quiet neighborhood. Didn’t get to spend much time there as we were only there to sleep but it is in a great location, convenient parking and walking distance to some great restaurants.

  • I would stay at Abbie's place again. Terrific location -- walking distance to numerous local food establishments. Loved taking the yoga class in the studio next door. Her apartment looks like the picture. Clean and adequately furnished.

  • Came to explore the Burgh for a few days, and loved this airbnb location. Few minutes in an Uber to downtown and we walked back from downtown across a lovely bridge with great views. Super comfy bed, in-home laundry was helpful, and tasteful decor. Easy to find street parking during the week and neighborhood was quiet. Heard the upstairs neighbors walking around just a little bit in the evening. Drove a few miles up Mt Washington for the sunset along Grandview - gorgeous! They sent some helpful museum/coffeeshop/restaurant recommendations - definitely would stay here again.

Omg the shower is no joke. And the sink has crazy water pressure with beautiful colored led lights. The living room area is cozy with couch and table with roku tv. Such a nice thoughtful touch with a blanket too. All the amenities one would need and an ironing board and iron. So much closet space and drawers too. Looking forward to being back here. The suite was beautiful and very well taken care of. Dave was available at any moment had I had any questions or issues which truthfully made me feel like I had a 5 star experience that no other airbnb or hotel can match in the area. I highly recommend staying here!

Enjoy the views in this newly renovated studio apartment hanging over the city skyline of Pittsburgh. Located on Mt. Washington, its 5/10 minutes to everything. Southside, Downtown, Strip, Oakland, Shadyside, and N.Shore only minutes away by bike or public transpertaion. Clean, comfortable, and cool!
This studio is great for a single, couple, or a set of friends hanging in Pittsburgh for a day or week. One king sized bed and one couch that converts to a full sized bed in this studio apartment.
This property is located in the neighborhood of Mt. Washington overlooking downtown Pittsburgh and the North Shore. Great Central Location!!!! It's 5 Minutes to Downtown, Southside, Northside Stadiums, Strip District, Cultural District, Convention Center, and Oakland.
  • Rich's place is great! The view is to die for. You can watch the sunrise and sunset over downtown Pittsburgh from a fabulous deck complete with lounge chairs and a full dining table. The apartment was spotless upon arrival and Rich met us as soon as we pulled up. The drive up the mountain is a little stressful, but that's the price you pay for an unbelievable view of downtown. The good news is Uber will pick you up right at the front door so we didn't need to drive a whole lot. Overall it was an awesome first AirBNB experience for us and the place was perfect.

    Giorgio2016-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Rich's studio has a great view of the city! The studio was very clean, warm and inviting. Rich was quick to respond to questions and was very pleasant in person. The location was good, a short 10min drive or less got you wherever you wanted to go. I would highly recommend Rich's place to freinds, family or anyone looking to experience Pittsburgh.

    Michael2017-02-05T00:00:00Z
  • Great place and great hospitality, loved the view

    Donte2018-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • This is the perfect place to stay in Pittsburgh. The view is AMAZING, and it is super easy to get everywhere. We drove and used Uber, and both were super convenient. Rich is great, and is very quick to respond. He let us know he was available if we needed anything, but we really didn’t need anything! Everything was already provided. The home is very clean and comfortable. A perfect home away from home and we can’t wait to visit again!

    Natalie2018-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome view with deck, comfortable bed and clean! Would definitely recommend as well as stay there again.

    Lars2017-04-24T00:00:00Z
  • This space was perfect for our weekend. It is very close to downtown while being secluded and included an amazing view. The pictures don't do it justice. The parking space allowed us the flexibility to come and go as we attempted to see everything we hoped to see and the space provided a comfortable refuge as we rested, enjoyed the scenery, and prepared for the next day's adventures. I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else in the city for our next visit.

    Matt2017-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • A Very nice host ! That provides You with an Abundence of Wonder things to do , & Places to visit & eat at , etc etc . A Very clean Unit with an Incredable View of the City . Very close to Everything ! The only real drawback are the Quirky Streets in the neiborhood to go back & forth on . We had no problems with the stairs entering Unit ! but I think I would look to see to build a bigger Stairwell , as not to drop a key , Phone etc , because if You Do it would be impossible to find . Great Deck ! A very nice Experience

    James2018-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • Pictures don't do the view from Rich's place justice! What an amazing view.. I loved the big open windows. Such a cozy and modern little place. Extremely clean and well kept. It was perfect for our quick weekend trip to PA for the Pens game! We'd love to stay again!

We are located directly on a bus line to town. We are about a 10 min drive from stadiums, downtown, the casino, and the north shore.
  • Very quiet and great looking place. I was very comfortable in this very clean house and will be using it again.

  • Dave and Robin's place was my first AirBnB experience and it was fantastic! Great place, very comfortable and immaculately clean, easy to find and extremely convenient to downtown Pittsburgh. Booking, checkin and checkout are also "no fuss, no muss". Every time I head to Pittsburgh I try to get their place, but there's a reason it's not often available. Can. Not. Recommend. Enough. And if it's available, you'd do well to book it right away! Thanks guys!

  • This place comes just as pictured. Parking wasn't a problem at all, and we enjoyed being close to downtown without actually being downtown!

    Emily2018-03-25T00:00:00Z
  • Dave and Robin’s place was great!! Newly updated with an awesome jet tub and rain shower! It was very clean and the check in was a breeze with keypad entry doors. 10 minute drive to downtown, so it is a great location!

  • We we're really happy staying here, the hosts were awesome and the place was really nice and clean, I would definitely recommend staying.

  • Great place! Clean and stylish, would stay here again.

    Liz2018-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • Dave & Robin’s place is by far one of the most upscale Airbnbs that I’ve been in and the price is a steal. The suite is modern and clean, the shared kitchen is well equipped. Definitely worth it!

Welcome to the Boathouse! Located in Pittsburgh's North Side, this gorgeous townhome is historic, modern, and laced with a nautical flow. With a ceiling-hanging canoe and oar decor, you will surely have a memorable stay! Heinz Field-1.3mi PNC Park-0.9mi Stage AE-1.4mi Andy Warhol Museum-0.8mi Carnegie Science Center-1.5mi
Fresh towels and linens are provided, as well as shower essentials and coffee for the morning. The kitchen is stocked with a medium sized pots and pans set (suitable for 3-4 guests) and very basic cooking supplies; we recommend bringing any extra necessary cooking supplies with you for your stay. An electric stovetop, oven, and microwave are available. The beds in the house sleep 4 guests, and the living room sectional can optionally sleep a 5th guest. There is a queen bed and two twin beds on the second floor. Our 2 day minimum can be waived in certain instances.
Located in Pittsburgh's North Side, this townhome is conveniently located in walking distance to AGH, Allegheny Commons Park, The National Aviary, the Children's Museum, and much more. It's a 5 minute Uber ride to PNC Park, Heinz Field, Stage AE and Penn Brewery.
  • Awesome space! I would 100% stay again.

    Julia2017-11-21T00:00:00Z
  • The Boathouse is just simply awesome! It's exactly as described, with even more cute touches than you can see in the pictures. Maureen responded in a timely manner with all information we needed to check in. The neighborhood is definitely up-and-coming, and if you aren't comfortable in a more urban setting, you may want to look at something a little further outside the city. But we loved being within walking distance of PNC Park, the Andy Warhol Museum, all of the yellow bridges downtown, and we really liked exploring the neighborhood. The only bathroom is upstairs, and there are no doors to the bedrooms, as it is more of a loft-style apartment. I can't wait to go back and stay here again!

    Lizzie2018-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay in Pittsburgh. Very cool atmosphere with a boathouse theme. Maureen & Luke were great at getting back with us on recommendations we asked for.

    Max2018-05-30T00:00:00Z
  • Nice spot, walk to a few good places to eat. Having parking was a huge benefits. We even walked to downtown one day. Cool design inside house.

    Logan2017-12-18T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the big open space that Luke & Maureen offer! Very easy check-in & check-out.

    Michi2018-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Good value and good location!

    Zhicheng2017-11-22T00:00:00Z
  • This was a very cute, uniquely decorated home. We only stayed 1 night and there were just 2 of us, so we only used the queen bed. But the 2 twin sized ones looked just as comfy. I did venture up to the loft and the ladder is not as scary as some past reviews make it seem. The sheets on our bed were so soft and I actually looked for the tag so I could buy them for my own bed at home! The only thing I may warn others about is that if you order food, be ready for your delivery driver to call for directions. Our UberEats driver drove around in circles trying to find us because the street kind of looks like an alley way and he was confused on where to go. We found it comical since we personally did not have troubles finding the place and we aren’t even from the area.

    Ashley2018-05-08T00:00:00Z
  • A great place for a small group or family. We were over to the convention centre everyday and it was wonderful for easy access.

A friend and I saw incredible potential in this old building, bought it, and over the course of a year painstakingly totally renovated the space, transforming it into a reinvigorated form of its former glory. In order to connect the building with its history and keep its character, wherever possible, we retained and restored the original architectural details, while simultaneously giving it an industrial-vintage look with modern and eclectic accents. This unit is on the 2nd floor and overlooks an ally that gives you a true flavor for the neighborhood: 2 beautiful brand new modern homes, right next to a house that's falling apart (which we just bought and are planning on renovating), and 2 run down 1 car garages (that operate as an unofficial car mechanic/barber shop). The entrance to the unit is through through the front of the building, but just so you're not surprised, there can be a little street noise from the ally now and again either from the garages or folks walking through.
  • The only problem we had with our stay was a 4am wake up call by the dumpster that was directly outside our window being emptied. Other than that our stay was great!

    Melissa2018-06-28T00:00:00Z
  • Everything is well described! The space is absolutely adorable! The door can be a little tricky so make sure you read the directions that Nikki sends! Quaint place would definitely return!

    Angie2018-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Billy's place was beautiful. The recently renovated space with the exposed brick made for a unique atmosphere. The place was clean and had everything we needed. I highly recommend this space for a short getaway or lengthy stay. You won't be disappointed.

    Joseph2018-06-27T00:00:00Z
  • The apt is spacious, clean, comfortable, and everything I love about Airbnb’s - you feel like you could live there. We didn’t drive for two days - walked and ran everywhere from the apt- to the river, to the stadiums, to all the restaurants and bars and parks. It’s exactly as advertised.

    Tina2018-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • This was a very cute apartment and was just comfortable enough for three! It was close to a lot of fun activities as well.

    Abirami2018-07-12T00:00:00Z
  • LOVE LOVE LIVE this place! Exteremy clean, everything you could need! Publix just a five min walk, I felt very safe and comfortable in the neiborhood! Awesome private patio to sunbath or have an early morning cup of coffee! The galleria mall is just a five min Uber and the beach at most a ten min Uber. Great location! Would live to stay here again!

    Dustie2018-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • What a value! The space is gorgeous and clean! Very straight shot to everything fun in Pitt. And the owner gave great instructions and lots of local hotspots! You will not be disappointed with this place!

  • This apartment was clean, quiet, and a great location for any downtown activities. The instructions for checking in were clear and helpful. We were also given good recommendations for parking, food, and activity. Thanks!

  • Katie's place was a great location on the North side of Pittsburgh with a great view of downtown! It was super convenient to many things - Randyland, Mattress Factory Museum, Aviary, Heinz Field, etc. It didn't really seem like walking distance to all those things to us but was around $10 Lyft ride to all of them and easily accessible with a car. Katie's apartment was meticulously clean and provided all of the items that you may have forgotten. The kitchen was well equipped too though we didn't use it much!

    Alyssa2018-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • Katie was charming to deal with

    Kirsten2018-03-15T00:00:00Z

  • Katie was an amazing host for my stay at Pittsburg. She's super fast in responding to messages and always available for questions. She helped us move into her space when we arrived. My parents found her space to be quiet and homely. The location being at the very heart of the city, it was quite convenient for us to visit the places we planned. There was ample street parking and I was able to park my car right in front of her place. Overall I was completely satisfied with my stay and I would strongly recommend her place for anyone who plan to visit Pittsburg.

    Nisaanthakumar2018-05-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great apartment. Katie was a very clear and quick communicator. Wi-fi (and Netflix) worked great. Appreciated the very easy check-in and check out.

    Max2018-05-18T00:00:00Z
  • Inviting, warm, cozy space. Stylish with great use of the space. Nice skyline view from the bedroom. Would definitely stay again.

    Jarod2017-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • Amazed by Katie’s hospitality. She is very quick and accurate in responding to my questions. She realized that we are arriving late night and prepared the air bed before we arrive and it helped us a lot. The place is very well renovated and all the furniture is new. Thanks Katie for your hospitality and hosting us !!

This 1 BR Apartment located in the heart of Uptown in downtown Pittsburgh is the perfect spot to lay your head and share with a few others. The space is clean and tidy with modern decor and offers plenty of amenities for a comfortable stay! Get most places you want to go in Pittsburgh by a 10 minute walk or Lyft. Perfect location for Pittsburgh Penguin lovers, as PPG Paints Area is located just a few blocks away - along with Duquesne University, Oakland, Downtown and South Side.
This space is unique because it is versatile to most guest needs while it is centrally located to the fine city of Pittsburgh. Whether you're visiting our Universities, catching a show in the Cultural District, coming in for a wedding or a weekend getaway, this space won’t be far! This retreat is comfortably fully-furnished, along with amenities such as cooking supplies and toiletries, soap/shampoo, coffee/tea supplies, and a queen-size bed with the addition of a queen sized air mattress. This unit has Central Air and heat, as well as your own WiFi and a small TV including Apple TV with Netflix (subscription provided if you don't have one), Hulu, HBO, etc. The TV can also be connected to your laptop via a provided HDMI cord. PLEASE NOTE: This is an older apartment building, though I do my best to keep the space updated, the building overall needs some work. This building is shared with other rentals and annual tenants so please understand there is a potential for noise from the neighboring apartments.
The neighborhood of Uptown sits just outside of the city on the South end just a bridge away from South Side. Uptown is an up-and-coming neighborhood as the city is rapidly developing in our direction towards Oakland. This space sits just outside of the city lines enough that it is generally more quiet at night, though close enough that most places you want to go are either within walking distance or super accessible via Lyft/car ride. If you're looking to be in the middle of city action where you can wake up and walk downstairs for brunch, this place may disappoint. Though this place is very central to all things Pittsburgh, it's not in the center of all the action. For those curious about safety, it has never been a concern of mine :)
  • Great place and great location close to downtown

    Jorge2018-05-16T00:00:00Z
  • The comfortable 1-bedroom apartment in uptown is a great value and within walking distance to downtown. Host is excellent with communication and follow-ups. Can even take 28x Airport Flyer public bus to Duquesne stop for $2.50 and then just a few blocks to apartment. Definitely would stay here again when visiting Pittsburgh.

    Wes2017-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • Great value for a great place and very cozy. Ended up wanting to stay in more than wanting to go out because it was so comfortable.

  • Brandi’s place is close to downtown and has a very comfortable bed. It was peaceful for sleeping. We were only in the apartment for a few hours because we spent most of the day out on the town, and left early the following day, but we liked the accessibility of the apartment and ease of communication with the host.

    Jay2018-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • Really nice location in the city. Very cozy environment; quiet considering how far into town you are. Overall a really nice area.

This is a private first floor apartment located in the historic North Side/Mexican War Streets. We are in the city and walking distance to the stadiums, restaurants and downtown Pittsburgh. We offer accommodations for two adults (max), a kitchen equipped for short or long term stays (you must bring all of your own food supplies), private bath with fresh towels, living room, cable tv and wi-fi. We also have one dedicated off street parking space for guests.
This is a one bedroom, first floor apartment suitable for two guests, only. **The couch is not an overnight sleeping option. The property is three units, with a common entrance into the building, and private entrances into each unit. - On street parking is available, but not guaranteed and requires a parking permit during weekday business hours 7 am - 7 pm. You may park without a permit during the restricted hours for up to one hour. We can provide one off street parking space in the rear of the building. This space is only available for guest use while you are checked in and cars may not be left on the property after checkout. (Vehicle owners are required to have insurance and meet all state inspections.) - Wi-Fi is password protected - A washer and dryer are available for guest use. Please use the appropriate amount of detergent for a high-efficiency machine. Please clean the lint trap in the dryer. - The kitchen is eat-in and equipped with a gas stove, microwave, pots, pans, and dishes and utensils. I can not control the freshness, demand, anticipate food allergies or a guest's cooking needs. I do not supply any food or condiments. Refer to the guidebook in the desk or (Hidden by Airbnb) for grocery store/shopping needs. - A Keurig coffee maker is available and we have a variety of sweeteners for your convenience. - This is an old building and she has earned her character. We are in the process of restoring the staircase, pardon our fresh paint smell, and many updates have been done to accommodate modern conveniences and comfort. However, some of the age she wears with pride: a wrinkle here, something uneven there, a creak, a crack, but the walls don't talk so your secrets are safe with her. Remember, this is a city neighborhood. There will likely be some noise and not everyone will look like you. - A window A/C unit is seasonally available. - While some of the mechanicals are located in the basement, the steps are old and steep, and curiosity killed the cat, so please, let me address any issues should they arise. Walking Distance, half mile-ish - Several Coffee Shops - A small market and deli to supplement your dietary needs - City Of Asylum cultural events: movies, musical performances, readings, lectures - The Mattress Factory installation art gallery - El Burro, tacos - National Aviary - West Park - Children's Museum of Pittsburgh - Allegheny Commons Park - Allegheny General Hospital - Zip Car - Rite Aid Pharmacy and Store - Dollar General - Bike rental - Hazlett Theater - Giant Eagle grocery store and pharmacy - Farmers' Market in Allegheny Commons Park (Cedar and North Ave) every Friday May - October 3-7pm - Carnegie Library Branch - Badamos Pizza Walking Distance, one mile-ish - Carnegie Science Center - PNC Park - Heinz Field - Andy Warhol Museum - Stage AE - Heinz Hall - Benedum Center - Byham Theater - Rivers Casino - Point Sate Park - Point Park University - Downtown Pittsburgh - Venture Outdoors kayak rental (seasonal) - Bike and Hike trails along the river and beyond - Penn Brewery - Bier's Pub Craft Beer - Monterey Pub - Nova Place
This is a residential city neighborhood with quick access to sporting events, concert venues, restaurants, cultural and educational events. The North Side is a ix of everything and everyone. There are weekends with not enough hours in the day to hit all of the cultural and social events. There are still random mornings when the air outside has a hint of old industrial Pittsburgh. Other days our sky is clear blue, the leaves are vibrant greens and the birds are so loud you will forget you are still in the city. We have city wildlife, deer, turkey, cats, geese, birds... don't feed them. They will remember you and come back for more food. The neighborhood does not have a club or bar scene. We do have some neighborhood bars and restaurant venues with live music, poetry readings and performances, but count on driving to other neighborhoods if you want a true bar or club atmosphere. There is some construction a block away. The crews respect the permitted work hours, but it can be loud sometimes and a bit dusty. If you were hoping to book a quiet and pristine urban meditation getaway, you will be disappointed. I am raising my two young kids in this neighborhood and you will likely see them outside riding bikes, building forts or playing ball - they are always looking for a designated pitcher and will often try to convince passers-by to fill in, and sometimes they do! But please use normal city precautions: don't leave valuables unattended or bikes unlocked, lock your doors, don't take the alley at night - go the long lighted path to your destination. Because we are a city, full of city ups and city downs, for better and worse.
  • This place is exactly what you see in photos. It's a lovely apartment and very comfortable! Everything was clean and ready for our stay. I highly recommend booking here. I did meet Zolina briefly and she was very sweet. Zolina had great communication about check-in and check-out. Overall, it was a great value and I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever in Pittsburgh!

  • Zolina's place is very well kept and stocked with everything you may need for your stay. It was extremely clean and very nicely furnished. Zolina was very friendly and thorough, she gave parking instructions and all. If you haven't been to Pittsburgh (it was my first time), you must go to the Duquesne Incline at sunset, it's an amazing view! Go to Pamela's for breakfast and Bakersfield has amazing tacos and queso.

    Tiffani2017-07-04T00:00:00Z

  • Good apartment. The neighbors were pretty loud in the morning while getting ready for the day, the noise woke both me and my friend up, but other times it was quiet. The apartment is clean, host responsive to any inquiry. The house is a bit sparsely decorated but that wasn't very important to us. We were only there at night and gone all day. Thanks!

  • A very clean, spacious and comfortable environment for two travelers. Excellent communication and ease of check-in. On site parking a plus. NOTE: Was advised by a PittsburghIan that this could be an unsafe area. NOT TO BE CONCERNED. Although some rough surrounding areas, this neighborhood was just fine. Just use basic common sense as in all unfamiliar urban settings. Highly recomended.

We have recently updated the home, filling it with bright, playful Pittsburgh-inspired décor. The home is heated/air-conditioned and kept at a comfortable temperature year-round. Towels, linens, pillows, and other amenities are provided to make your stay comfortable and effortless!
Our neighborhood is located in a quiet woody suburb north of downtown Pittsburgh, offering access to nearby attractions (Heinz Field, PNC Park, Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium, National Aviary, museums, and restaurants) while providing a safe reprieve from the clamor of the city. Follow McKnight Road to well-known shopping hubs or head downtown for an endless array of stores and restaurants. Most Pittsburgh attractions are within a 10 minute driving radius of my home.
  • Jennifer’s place is great! This was my second stay and I’m sure I will be staying again in the future. It is super clean, cozy and decorated beautifully. Jennifer is a great host!

    Alison2018-04-08T00:00:00Z
  • Jennifer's place worked great for my wife and I on our visit to Pittsburgh to see our son. She is a fabulous host and it was a pleasure talking to her and her fiancé. We were grateful that she had some extra supplies in the bathroom since my wife forgot her toothbrush. She always offered assistance and was always quick to respond to any questions we had. We will make it a point to stay there again.

  • I loved staying here even if it was for a night! It was easy to find and everything was clean and comfortable! Would stay here again!!

    Elizabeth2018-06-09T00:00:00Z
  • My friends and I had a great time at Jennifer's place. Although we did not get to meet her in person she was very helpful and responsive at all times. Very homey place at a great location near downtown Pittsburgh.

    Diana2017-11-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had another great night at Jen's. Clean, cozy, comfortable, and Jen was super easy to communicate with. A great option for Pittsburgh that we will keep in mind for the future!

    Renae2017-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • If airbnb had levels, Jennifer's would be platinum. She did everything right and then some.

    Mary Beth2017-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was awesome and Jennifer's place was great from the coffee to the comfy beds to the relaxing atmosphere. Short drive to anything Pittsburgh, Heinz Filed, The Strip District, Mt Washington and more....Beautiful area....highly recommended....hope to stay here again next year......

Condo with many amenities included. The space is roughly 1100 square feet in size and is very close to the 376 parkway, allowing guests to easily travel throughout the city. Fully furnished with many amenities
  • Place was quiet, clean. Easy street parking. Close to everything by car (8-15 minutes to museums, restaurants, playgrounds), not too much walkable.

    Kate2016-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • Jeffrey's place was perfect for our friend's weekend in Pittsburgh. We were rarely at the home, but it had two bedrooms, easy street parking and a very low price, which was exactly what we needed :) Jeffrey is an excellent communicator and the keypad entry made check-in and check-out hassle-free.

    Rachel2018-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed for two nights May6-8, the house was clean, decent neighborhood, comfortable sitting area outside and it was quick 5-15 minutes drive to whatever activities we were doing each day. Jeffrey was quick to communicate and answer all questions.

    Allyson2018-05-08T00:00:00Z
  • The house was in a convenient location to the downtown area. The neighborhood was quiet and easy to navigate. Jeffrey was very responsive to any questions we had and we appreciate him opening up his home to us.

    Ashley2016-06-20T00:00:00Z
  • Jeff was an amazing host! The location was perfect right by the Southside which leads you right to the city! I came for my birthday weekend, Jeff was very accommodating a true gentleman. I would recommend this home if you want to see Pittsburgh finest!

    Markeea2016-04-18T00:00:00Z
  • I planned a little vacation with my partner and his parents to Pittsburgh. About 2 weeks prior to the trip, my in law experienced some illness and i was hoping to cancel the trip to avoid adding extra stress on her. I contacted jeffery about a possible cancellation but he never gotten back to me. My partner and I decided to proceed to go on the trip because we didn't want to waste the money that has already spent. I contacted Jeffery and asked about a possible early check in, he didn't respond. I contacted him again and asked about the parking situation, and no surprise, he didn't get back. When i finally arrived to the house and excited for a rest, I found some white stains and sticky stuff on the blanket, like they didn't wash the blanket from the last person. I have photo proof. I have never been able to talk to Jeffery regarding to anything about the house. I think he might have been the worst host of my entire airbnb experience. Stay away from this place if you want a decent vacation.

    Wallis2018-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • Jeffrey was great to deal with. Responded immediately to my questions and was very helpful. Awesome location and it has almost everything you need. It would be nice to have a toaster. I'm sure he would have brought it if I had ask.

    Adrianne2016-11-07T00:00:00Z
  • Jeffrey was very responsive via text and offered to provide any help/suggestions for the area. The location is about 10 minutes away by car from the city. Perfect if you're looking for a quiet, safe neighborhood. Plenty of street parking. Almost everything in Pittsburgh is old; however, the inside of the home is cozy and remodeled. There were four people staying in total, and that was just the right amount since there is only one bathroom.

  • The listing description was accurate and the house was neat and clean. We had a really great time. The neighborhood was quiet and didn't hear any noises despite a bar next door. Erica and her husband were accommodating and responded to our queries well.

    Rajiv2016-05-17T00:00:00Z
  • Erica was a fantastic host. Easy communication. Zero hassle. As described. Definitely worth a stop if you need easy, uncomplicated housing. Good people who have mastered the AirBnB recipe for success. Many Many Thanks!

    Mark2016-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • Erica did a great job making sure everything was set throughout our entire stay and answering any questions we had in a timely manner. The place was perfect for our needs! It was a short ride or drive into the city and other areas of Pittsburgh and we never noticed any noise from the bar next door.

    Nicole2016-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • Location is convenient to all of Pittsburg. We enjoyed the transitioning neighborhood. The place was clean and efficient. The a/c saved us from the humidity. No sound proofing to block out the loud noise from the occupant upstairs so heels on hardwood floor and kids running back and forth woke us early in the morning. This is not a problem if you're not a light sleeper. A cool neighborhood Saloon is right next door and we took advantage of not having to drive out of the neighborhood for a night cap. Erica was very good with communication and touched base with us during our stay. Thanks Erica for letting us stay at your apartment!

    Chuck & Helen2016-06-29T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I extended our stay for several weeks and everything went smoothly. Erica and her husband have been so helpful and have provided everything that we have needed. We highly recommend staying at their studio apartment. Erica is a great communicator and stays in touch to assure our stay is worry-free. If you have an opportunity to come to Pittsburgh please consider staying here you will NOT be disappointed

    Sharon2013-11-16T00:00:00Z
  • Erica was very easy to communicate with no problems there. She provided a list of recommend restaurants. The apartment is neat and clean. We stayed in Pittsburgh to attend a Steelers game and ended up driving to Heinz Field, which was relatively easy and had no trouble finding parking. Overall a great stay! Only downside I would have to say is that there isn't any nice restaurants/cafes/shops within short walking distance.

    Caitlin2015-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was a very quick Uber ride downtown to either Heinz Field or to go to a Pens game. The apartment had all of the amenities we needed.

    Mary2016-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • This was our first AirBnB experience and we couldn't have been happier. The apartment was cozy, comfortable and thoroughly functional, stocked with plenty of towels and extra blankets -- and beer. AC worked. Wireless worked. Parking:effortless. The drive into downtown and college areas: totally do-able. Neighborhood felt just fine to us. Hosts, not on-site, were very attentive. Thank you, Erica! You and your husband are a terrific hosts. My high school-age daughter and I are very grateful to have found an affordable way to do a weekend college visit without any sacrifice of comfort, convenience or safety. If my daughter ends up at UPitt or Carnegie Mellon, I will be back for many more stays. :)

Our space is walking or biking distance from the Strip District, Downtown, PNC Park, Heinz Field, some great local hangouts, and public transportation. You’ll love our place because of the ambiance, comfy beds, and the Brooklyn-like neighborhood. It's perfect for couples, small groups of folks, and anyone looking to explore Pittsburgh!
  • We had a great time staying at this place! Beautiful decorating, very clean, and a great location. Communication was quick and easy. We can’t wait to come back next year! Thank you!

    Danielle2018-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • The place was well maintained and was comfortable. Loved the City view from the room. Would love to stay here during the next visit.

  • Beautifully renovated & very clean apartment with everything you need for a comfortable stay, plus more! Walking distance to many attractions, including PNC Park, Heinz Field, PPG Arena, Rivers Casino. Nikky was great to work with and sent detailed information before/after renting and answered any additional questions I had.

    Lindsey2018-06-03T00:00:00Z
  • Bad stuff first: --No free 24h parking! Overnight parking options require repayment/relocation by 8am. This didn't work for us so we left our car downtown and walked/ubered. --Rough neighborhood after dark, but safe to uber. --Two hours before check-in, host informed me the AC had quit. We negotiated a daily partial refund for each day the AC wasn't working. Host repaired the AC on day 2 and issued one refund, but AC quit again on day 5. Host did not issue the second refund and stopped communicating after morning check-out. Spent a total of two nights in 80-85F indoor temps. --As of this writing, the host hasn't left my group a review, though we've asked! We followed the house rules and kept the place sparkling clean. --Smart lock software incompatible with some versions of android (including mine)! NOW Good stuff: --Apartment was extremely clean and gorgeously remodeled. As good as the photos or better! --Surprisingly quiet for the part of town. --1 mile walk to the convention center. --Awesome hospitality from the host in the form of extra towels, kitchen supplies, etc. --Quick communication from host until they went silent about second refund.|Summary: Definitely shop around, but this place is a comfy pick if you don't need to park a car!

  • Great location for going to the ballpark and for "urban hiking". Very modern and stylish apartment. Plenty of common space in the apartment for playing board games, reading, etc. You'll have to be comfortable going up plenty of stairs, though.

    Libby2018-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • This is a terrific place! The apartment is very comfortable and spacious and tastefully decorated. You can tell lots of hard work went into the renovation. Nikky was very prompt with responding to messages and giving us all the information we needed. We are already planning our next stay!

  • My family and I headed to Pittsburgh for the weekend to see our beloved Cubbies and enjoy one of my favorite cities. I am so glad we decided to stay here. The apartment was immaculate, modern, comfortable and had all the amenities one would need. The view is absolutely amazing! My pictures don't to it justice. We enjoyed city views while sitting on the deck in the evening. We opted to Uber on our trips to and from the city, a pick up and drop off right at the front door. Close to everything you could want. Already planning a return trip!

Rich was so helpful throughout the whole process and gave great recommendations. The apartment was spotless and everything was just as described. We used Uber to get around since we were so central to everything. Will definitely be back again!

  • The location is unbeatable. It's in downtown and close to everything I needed--the conference I went in Omni William Penn, the museums I visited, etc. It's either a short walk (5-10 minutes) or a short Uber/Lyft ride. The room lives up to its description. Zach also made extra efforts to help you feel at home--although I only communicated with him via airbnb message (which is ideal). The place is clean and the instruction to access the apartment is clear. Overall it's a great choice for its location, cleanliness and price.

A cute apartment on a quiet street. Just steps away from the vibrant art, shopping and amazing food scene of Butler St, this place is perfect for a quick getaway in town or for a longer stay. Great little outdoor patio space to boot and the folks in the upstairs apartment are pretty cool ;) (thats us!) We've lived here for years now and can give you the low down on the places to visit.
  • Everything was wonderful. This is such a beautiful & convenient place. Kate was also very quick with communication. The parking is 1 hour time limit (unless you have a permit) for most of the day around the house. Kate was kind enough to get us a temporary allowance to park there for the weekend.

The best nest in Lawrenceville, this apartment is a favorite of every guest. It's perfect for a person or couple looking to stay a week or longer. Easy to maintain, super cute, it has everything you need. The couch quickly turns into a bed, the kitchen has a digital gas wall oven and dishwasher. There is plenty of light and a nice view of the city.
This is an attic apartment in a classic Lawrenceville house, intended for longer visits. To access the apartment you need to walk through the mainsteps in the house however it is private from the rest of the house. The kitchen is equipped with some basics to get you started cooking and has most things you'll want, otherwise you can borrow it from the other kitchen in the house.
Lawrenceville is one of the best neighborhoods in the city for nightlife, closesness to everything and quality of life. Everything you need is within walking distance.
  • This place had everything we needed for a few days and the kitchen was fantastic! We were able to save some cash and cook a few meals. John provided snacks. Communication was good. Parking was pretty tricky initially, but the lot behind the place made it easier once we found the place.

  • Stylish and historical apartment! I stayed in this apt for 2 month. The room was comfortable and the security was also good. A manual for this apt was helpful. Kitchen utensils were sufficient. Justin was very kind, he responded my questions promptly. Lawrenceville has excellent shops for example a beer shop, ramen shop and so on. I really enjoyed! Thank you very much!

  • Wonderful place in a great neighborhood

    Michael2017-11-27T00:00:00Z
  • John was fantastic since the first messages. He checked me in late night, answered all my texts, and was really helpful. The attic is perfect for one or even two people. Had everything I needed and was really close to public transportation and restaurants, pharmacie, and CHP (the place I was working). I tottally recommend John's place.

    Silvia2017-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was just as advertised, and the attic apartment is much bigger than the photos show it to be. John was very flexible in letting me check in early and was very hospitable the entire time! Very close to downtown Pittsburgh and Lawrenceville is an amazing neighborhood in the city! I would definitely book again!

  • Had a wonderful stay at this air bnb! All of our needs were taken care of. The house was quiet the entire time. Even though we had the attic apartment it felt like the entire house was ours! The AC unit worked great in the apartment. Everything we needed to make breakfast in the kitchen was available such as pans and utensils. The bed was extremely comfortable. Overall, a wonderful stay!

  • The place is what you need if you want to stay in the heart of the city. Everything is literally walking distance and that is why the place is highly recommended. There was slight glitch initially due to keys (but, it happens to the best of us) apart from that, everything worked out great. Zach's place is clean and well maintained but most importantly very convenient. I had a wonderful stay. Thank you!

  • This Airbnb is definitely worth getting, very clean and is in a great location for those visiting Pittsburgh, would definitely recommend to any friends or family

    Nadonte2017-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • Zachary's place is in a great location, walking distance or a quick Uber ride to most places worth seeing in Pittsburgh. The place was clean and seamless to check into. There was a some bizarre construction going on overnight that was a bit inconvenient but as far as we could surmise it was emergency one time road repair. Everything else about the stay was great and I would recommend staying at this place.

  • Although we stayed for only one night we were very upset to find the room in an untidy state. Our bedsheets and towels did not smell or feel fresh, there was somebody's hair on my bed. One of the toilets looked just gross and there was somebody's hair on the walls of the shower. Overall the apartment was untidy and unpleasant to stay in. The place has a great location and is convenient for both short and long stays if the hosts keep it clean.

  • Great location ! rooms are really clean and organized , really simple check in and check out process . Will stay In the future when I come back to Pittsburgh .

    Roxana2018-07-10T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is brand new and feels very homey. Really comfortable beds

    Declan2018-02-01T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent place to stay. Good value and the apartment/bedroom is cheery, clean and convenient to access. The location within the city is convenient as well and Zach is communicative and helpful. If you're a light sleeper it might be worth bringing earplugs as it is 3 floors above a downtown street and there happened to be overnight construction on the street below when we were there. But overall, would absolutely recommend this place to anyone!

    Tom2018-07-12T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was clean and it was welcoming. Make note that its a shared apartment so there might be another guest there but they have a seperate bedroom and bathroom so i was fine with it. No complaints

We have been super host for about two years. Each master suite has an entry door, deadbolt w a keypad, in-suite private living room, in-suite private bathroom, in-suite private bedroom. Even though this suit is new we offer the same level of care and attention to detail to this suite as our others.
  • Dave and Robin's place is very stylish and clean. Feels like a posh hotel but better because there is a kitchen! And much more affordable!

  • My friends and I (3 total) loved staying here. It slept 3, even though it was a bit cramped with an air mattress. The kitchen and bathroom are lovely. Also, the couch is icnredible.
