“What a wonderful find. There are so many options for activities through the fall-spring seasons. Very unique activities you don't customarily find in one convenient location such as; maple shack tours, horse drawn sleigh rides, snowshoeing and both cross country and alpine skiing and much more. “Small city park with several miles of mountain biking trails. Many people come here to hunt for gems in the old quarries. The trails start past the National Guard Station. It is OK to follow the trail past the gate. Just don't venture into the fenced off area.”

“Thompson Lake is a big beautiful lake with deep clear water not far from Raymond Pond. The Marina rents all different sorts of boats for half/full days. Go spend the day exploring one of Maine's bigger lakes, then come home and relax on the pond.”
