“Port Issac, known as Port Wenn by millions of Doc Martin fans, the popular TV series was made in Port Issac, it's a proper old working fishing village, get there early to buy fresh fish off the quay. a couple of great pubs. small beach. steep walk back up to the car park, but worth it for a bit of Real Cornwall. Top Chef Nathan Outlaw has his new Restaurant right on the quay. top tip, Syay at the Ship Inn, drink in the Galeon, eat in the village or at Nathans, buy Fish !”

Harbour / Marina
“Port Isaac has been an attractive fishing village since the early fourteenth century. Its narrow, winding streets are lined with old white-washed cottages and traditional granite, slate-fronted Cornish houses, many of which are listed as of architectural or historic importance. The roads are narrow so best to park in the main carpark just outside the village and take the coastal path round to Port Isaac. If you are a Doc Martin fan, then you will recognise a number of places from the series.”
