“This is a must do if you have the time. Visit Seattle either with your car or on foot (my favorite for around $10 RT). One hour ferry ride in comfort and with awesome views. Sit with a local commuter and let them tell you some history of the area. Let's you off in the historic section of Seattle where you can pick up an Uber and off you go. Mariners and Seahawk stadiums are a short ride away with return ferry trips going into the late hours. Do it!!”

“We love to take our out of town visitors on a ferry ride. We like to go from Bremerton to Seattle because they charge by the car, not by the # of passengers if you are going that direction. Once you get off in Seattle you can enjoy the Seattle waterfront and are very close to Pike Place Market.”

“LOCAL's spot. Featured in People Magazine, they didn't need any help packing this place out! You can dine in a converted VW bus or just enjoy the bustle of the cozy interior. “The Fort Ward Trail System is made up of 3 different trails with varying difficulty levels. The Lower Fort Ward Trail is rated Easy and is a .89 mile long paved, flat trail that parallels the Puget Sound beach. It is a very popular trail that provides bird watching opportunities, views of the Olympic Mountains, and historic interpretation of the park’s military past. ”

“We are SO LUCKY to have this place in our town. Sabateur sources locally and organically whenever possible. Also, YUM! Not to be missed on the weekends when they have ALL the things... (more limited selection and sporadic hours during the week) Get here before 10 am for full selection on weekend mornings. Now serving awesome pizza from 5-8 pm weekdays! Committed to quality. Love this place the most!”

“If you want to REALLY enjoy yourself in a quiet, intimate but not-too-uppity place, check out the Hound + Bottle. The HB (formerly known as Honor Bar) has quickly made it up the ranks in our local cuisine scene! The small thoughtfully composed menu with hand-crafted libations is done to perfection. We love that it changes every few weeks which allows us to frequently enjoy a new creation from chef, Alan Davis. Our favorite thing to do is invite a couple of our "bestest" friends, sit down in a comfortable space and bathe in the confluence of euphoric smells, tastes and sounds! (Am I overselling it? I think not!)”
