“μαγευτικό τοπίο μέσα στη φύση ιδανικό για πεζοπορία ανάμεσα στις πηγές και τα ρυάκια.”

Restaurant
“Two old stores were joined to create a very special, romantic restaurant on the village's main cobbled path. The stunning open hearth reminds of the Middle Ages dominating the space. Its cuisine, completely different from the cooking patterns that prevails in the region, expresses the creative ability and technique of the owner and chef Anthony Tsolakoudi. Geusokratoras is a must! *Reservations are strongly advised”

“A beautiful path which can only be described as something out of 'Lord of the Rings'... You can follow the path up from Portaria and the trees and scenery here are stunning. A very nice and easy walk to be enjoyed by everyone, but where good footwear. Also wouldn't be recommended for children under 10 unless accompanied by an adult.”

Museum
“Girls. In the museum you will find a permanent historical and folklore exhibition with various objects, relics, photographs, paintings, etc. that show the history and the locals' way of living. Most of the exhibits are authentic, original and give you the opportunity to get to know some of the elements of economic and cultural development in the wider area –focusing on the way of life and reintegration of the Egyptians in the region– from the beginning of the 19th century up to the middle of the 20th century. There are various rooms in the museum, such as the one dedicated to the Egyptians, to education, to the private life of Portaria residents, to Theoxenia hotel and to S. Porfyris. ”

“Μια τόσο παλιά όσο και όμορφη εκκλησσίτσα που επισκεφτήκαμε και νιώσαμε δέος από τις τοιχογραφίες αλλά και το τέμπλο. Μαγευτικό. Αξίζει τον κόπο η επίσκεψη!!!”
