Monument / Landmark
“Unquestionably the main landmark of the Žižkov district, at 216 m in height, it's also the tallest building in the city. With a 360° view, Prague is laid out before your eyes from the viewing platform at 93 m.”

Bakery

“Simply the best bread in town. I prefer the 80% ray bread, but basically everything you buy there is top. They make it just in front of you. ”

Cocktail Bar
$$
“That’s the problem with drinking, I thought, as I poured myself a drink. If something bad happens you drink in an attempt to forget; if something good happens you drink in order to celebrate; and if nothing happens you drink to make something happen.“ And with that Bukowski quote from Women, you can see why there are always several bar flies buzzing around: what else is there to do in bar-situated Žižkov? Drink. You drink till the streets wind even more. You drink until people become interesting. Friday and Saturdays you’ll find yourself packed in, swimming in cocktails. ”

“One of the first and most popular farmers' markets in Prague, it is classic destination, authentic and true with great neighborly atmosphere. It opens on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays so it doesn't clash with your weekend trips. A great stop for getting fresh food and flowers! ”

“This restaurant is located on the communications tower and reaches the sky. It is the highest located restaurant in Prague and you will see the entire Prague from the top. It is also little bit fancy and bit more expensive but it is a nice experience.”

Mexican Restaurant
$$
“There have been quite a few Mexican restaurants to appear and then disappear in Prague over the years. The majority of them were serving up Czexican, nothing really worth letting linger on your palate. Frustrated by this the guys at the soon to be Las Adelitas started a delivery service that took off and then morphed into the much loved Las Adelitas restaurant. In short, you can find here the best Mexican food in the golden city. Apart from authenticity – it is owned and run by Mexicans – prices are quite reasonable with most dishes for about 200 czk. If you’re really looking for a deal, pop in for lunch at one of their three locations (one is right off of Old Town Square), where you can taste their specialties for a meager 100-120 czk. Don’t forget to have a margarita and chat up their friendly, yes Mexican, staff. ”
