Nicely furnished apartment in the middle of a cretan village. Very friendly hosts - we met Vaggelio and her husband, the parents of Christos. Vaggelio had filled the fridge with an excellent self-made cretan dish, a bottle of wine and lots of fresh fruits. It was a great experience to live in a village, surrounded by friendly greek neighbours. If you want to buy vegetables, fruits or bread, wait for the vendors that cross the village with their pickups. Nice beaches are in the reach of a 10 minutes car drive. And we recommend that you visit the Prevelli monastery by foot, it's a 45 minutes walk from the Casa di Amenos. A great place for people who love to stay outside the tourist resorts. We had a very pleasant stay in Christos' apartment, he and his sister gave us a great welcome. It is a small village situated in the mountains, authenticity guaranteed! It is a few kilometers from Plakias and 30 minutes of Rethymnon. Many beautiful beaches are nearby. The apartment is comfortable and everything is there.

The accommodation was wondeŕful and the house has a very nice balcony. It is in a very quiet village. The owners are very kind. They recommended us good places to visite. Besides they greeted us with a delicious pastitsio and some food (as olive oil) of their production. TOTALY RECOMENDED.

We very much enjoyed our stay. You can visit several beaches by car and relax on the very nice balcony! The house is very neat and tidy and our host welcomed us very warmly when we arrived and also wished us a good bye when leaving... Thank you again very much, Christos!

Every comfort. we were greeted by the Virginia christos sister, very very friendly, which had planned local olive oil produced by his family, raki and his parents even brought us the next course welcome !!! The Cretan hospitality by excellence! At the end of the stay, Virginia has brought us even small welcome gifts: oregano, olive oil, raki, ... Good base to visit the area in a small village typical Cretan. I highly recommend !

We had a great tima at Casa di Anemos. The host and the family is really nice and gave us local products and even a home cooked meal. The appartment is great, especially the terrace with an amazing view. The village is really small and quiet, we can definately recommend staying there!

We enjoyed our stay very much, the flat was tidy and nicely furnished. We were welcomed very warmly and generously: in the kitchen we found a big and tasty pasticcio home-made for us, as well as olive oil and other food for our breakfast. A sample of Christos and Virginia good olive oil and local produce we were given also on our departure day! The house is in the middle of a tiny village where only Greek families live, so that´s the right dive in Greek life. Perfect if you want to stay away from the main tourist tracks but still close to many wonderful beaches.

We spent 3 wonderful days in the authenticity of life in Crete. The taverna right at the foot of housing is very good. What a pleasure to swim in a warm sea just out of bed ... Virginia met all our expectations despite our late arrival, thank you for this good and beautiful moment

The property is a very delightful hideaway by the sea, the room is beautifully decorated, nice big balcony. Clean, W- Lan available, nice tavern right there. George's place is so much more than the photos. It was simply stunning. A spacious 4 bedroom villa, tastefully decorated with everything you need....with an exceptional outside space with lots of seating, a great stone bbq area, pool (URL HIDDEN) much space and the view was just amazing. So quiet and tranquil it really is away from the bustle of tourism. A very peaceful spot. Beaches are 15 mins drive away. A great taverna at Ligres beach which served delicious fresh local food. The local village is 5 mins away with a mini market which stocks most things you need but for anything more substantial you would have to drive to Spilli which is about 20 mins away. If you are looking at totally getting away from it all and having a very relaxing time, I can't recommend George's villa enough.

We had a good experience in the Kerames villa, during the winter holidays, even if we had some adventures on the roads going up, because of the snow fall. The villa is very nice, spacious, clean and comfortable, with patios and splendid terraces, it has indeed a breathtaking panoramic view over the sea, the surroundings are amazingly genuine and picturesque. We had all the facilities we needed in the house, including fireplace for warming up in the cold nights. Ursula, the housekeeper, was very helpful when needed, also our host George was helpful and friendly. We are sure the villa is a paradise during the summer. There are also beautiful beaches close to it and good home made food "tavernas" in the villages around. Only a precious advice: if you come during the winter, when sometimes it might snow a little bit, just hire a 4X4 car, as the villa is up in the mountains and the roads could become a little rough.

We spent a wonderful time in Crete. The view is beautiful and the house a dream. We were a group of nine people and had both in-house and outside all perfectly square. The house is well equipped and very clean. Also the pool we enjoyed very much. Ursula het received us warmly, geziegt us the whole house and gave us useful tips for our stay in Crete. We are happy to come back.

We spent 5 days in the beginning of May in this beautiful place. The house is very nice, with a charming garden and a fantastic sea view. It is situated in really rural and quiet surroundings. It takes about 5 minutes by car to get to a very big and beautiful beach where you may not only sunbathe but walk along sea. The beach is almost empty which is incredible as sea water in May is quite warm (for me at least). The parents of Nikolidakis are very hospitable, they treated us to some of their excellent home made food. There are two very good tavernas near - one in the village, one on the beach. Our experience was really great.

Just an amazing time in this remote country house at the end of the road. The seaview is awsome and everything so quiet Vaggelis was a warm and very helpfull host telling us about the best places and little restaurant. Try walking the long empty beaches and Villa Maria taveen down the road to Legis beach

Very nice house with beautiful view, in a little offroad area. Everything was great in and around the house, the host was also very friendly. The area is very silent and the beaches are not very far away with tje car. We very enjoyned our Night there.

Tutto OK. Posto piuttosto isolato ma decisamente tranquillo. Panorama meraviglioso proprio come descritto. Mare nelle vicinanze un po' agitato ma sempre pulito. Host disponibile e gentilissimo. Everything was OK. The location is quite isolated but very quiet. Wonderful view as described. Sea nearby was a bit agitated but always clean. The host is available and very kind.

We arrived to Argyro’s house on the last week of August. The house is 30 minutes from Spili (the biggest town around) and 20 minutes, of a wonderful drive, from the main road. We found the house exactly as was described and shown in the Airbnb page. The kitchen was full equipped with everything you need for cooking. The living room is a bit small for 6 persons but with such a front yard you do not need to use it. The rooms and beds are large and comfortable. Even the Ethernet was surprisingly well. The place was clean and a quick service from the landlord solved a small problem that we had with the A/C. We haven’t tried the taverns near by but we can recommend the taverns down the beach. Vagelis (Son and father) are extremely nice people and the tips that we got from them about what and where to visit were great. let them tell you what you should do and go to. From all places that we went to, the one that I mostly recommend is Matala beach. It’s an hour and twenty minutes drive from the house and well deserve the title “one of the best beaches in Crete”. On your way there, stop at Agia Galini for a short visit. And again, Thanks for a wonderful vacation and great hospitality.

Our holidays in Thiresia mansion were great! We loved this comfortable and functional home, as we felt like we were in our own home from the first moment! The combination of traditional furnishing and wood with modern elements creates a great atmosphere that we enjoyed during our stay! We loved the views from its balcony, especially in the evening! The village Lefkogia had everything concerning our first necessities, amazing tavernas where we tasted traditional Cretan dishes and is very close to fantastic beaches! We really liked the Shinaria and Ammoudi Beach - only 5 minutes driving from the house! Konstantina is a very kind and helpful host and we greatly thank her for her hospitality!

We were looking to live the Cretan authentic life at a traditional house and village near the sea and this must be the best option we could have done! The house is very large and provides all the amenities for the ideal holidays, in a familiar, pleasant and traditional environment! All the beaches nearby were fantastic and there were also so much options for nature lovers with hiking and cycling paths to explore! Konstantina answered all of our questions and gave us nice tips for excursions! Thank you for everything!

We had the perfect holidays in this small authentic Cretan village! We loved this renovated stone mansion which was clean and comfortable and had everything you need! The terrace with view to the mountains was awesome and we spend most of our nights having barbeque there! Konstantina was very welcoming and attentive and did everything to ensure we would be happy with our stay! The house is ideally located close to some wondeful beaches only 5 minutes to Damnoni and Ammoudi, 10 minutes to Plakias and also next to the unique beach and gorge of Preveli!
