“Flamenco Beach is considered the second most beautiful beach in the world by Discover Channel and by far the most popular beach in Culebra Island. Its white sandy beach stretches along the entire bay, you will feel the Caribbean sun everywhere and wonder why you had waited this long. Flamenco is a great place to snorkel, sunbathe, swim and socialize. You could fly or take a ferry from Fajardo.”

“Right on the roaring Atlantic coast is Cueva del Indio, or Indian Cave, named after the indigenous hieroglyphs found carved into the rocks. The entrance fee is $5 and will give you access to impressive cliffs, views of crashing waves, and a natural bridge formed from rocks. Prior to Hurricane María there was a ladder leading down to the cave which is now gone. Experienced climbers can still make the descent down to the cave where there are rock carvings made by the Taínos, the tribe that lived on the island before the arrival of Columbus and the Spanish. Note: Parque Nacional de las Cavernas del Rio Camuy, which offers access to the largest cave network in the Western hemisphere, is currently closed. A potential reopening date has not been set. However, there are many other exciting and beautiful caves to visit throughout the island.”

“Its a beautiful cay with white sand beach, only way there is by boat, no restaurants or bathrooms there, must take your equipment, highly recommend to take umbrellas since has very little or no shade at all, but its worth the visit, one of the most beautiful beaches you will ever see. “One of the main attractions at Las Cabezas de San Juan Nature Reserve is Laguna Grande, one of the three bio-bays in Puerto Rico. The narrow and long canal that leads to the dazzling, glow-in-the-dark waters make this a lagoon, technically, rather than a bay. You can kayak or cruise in a small boat and experience a surreal moment when the agitation of the water makes it light up thanks to microscopic organisms in the water. Although visitors are not allowed to swim in the lagoon, you can agitate the water with your hands and witness a magical natural spectacle. Be sure to book in advance and take into consideration that the less moonlight there is, the better the experience of this natural phenomenon will be.”
