“This place is very special. Glynwood is not a year-found restaurant but their farm dinners are incredible, unique, and not to be missed. Check out their event calendar for the upcoming dinners and reserve in advance. They sell out! ”

Garden
“Sitting within big rolling hill pastures of the Hudson Highlands and within Fahnestock State Park, on a foggy day it feels like you're up in the Scottish Highlands but walking through gardens that have been meticulously cared for by students. Yes, they run a school here for gardening. I have some literature on the desk in the room. Highly recommend. You need to either have a car or call a taxi to get there, however. ”

“Spend some time on the Appalachian Trail on a hike above Canopus Lake, or get some legwork in on an 8 mile loop on the Three Lakes Trail. Stop by the park office for a $10 trail map and some good advice. ”

Store
“Convenient deli for any essentials and great to pick up anything for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Sandwiches made to order are delicious (personal favorite is the Godmother on a wedge). Pizzas are fantastic and Monday/Tuesday nights is customer appreciation prices. Remember the deli closes at 8pm, so get that piazza order in early.”
