“Take a day trip to the Berkshires in MA to see live musical performances by famous artists and the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Sit inside the large "Music Shed" with 5,100 seats, or outside on the lawn (you can bring our lawn chairs). Check their website for the summer schedule of performances. ”

Park
“Kennedy Park is a three-minute walk from Whistler's Inn! There are many miles of trails with a lookout towards the mountains where there are picnic tables. There is also a gazebo further down the mountain where visitors can see in the distance, Mount Greylock, the tallest mountain in Massachusetts. Visitors can take their mountain bikes on the many trails throughout the park. They can also go horseback riding here. We go here often because it is beautiful and practically in our backyard!”

“This sanctuary is one of our favorite places to hike and see wildlife. Visitors can see beavers, frogs, turtles, owls, deer, and occasional foxes. There are streams, brooks, and ponds to spend time meditating and finding some peace. Pleasant Valley Sanctuary is a five-minute drive from Whistler's Inn.”

“This is a new reserve in Lenox where visitors can visit the local wetlands to observe wildlife. It takes about 8 minutes to get there from Whistler's Inn, and it is very close to Tanglewood. This is a very peaceful place to visit.”
