Park
“Fishermen love Roaring River State Park because it is stocked with rainbow trout. The park has seven hiking trails, a swimming pool, picnic tables and a nature center. If you dare to wade in the river, take water shoes because the bottom is rocky, but the water is super cold and refreshing!”

“Although Cassville Golf Course is a membership driven association, it is open to the general public. The green fees and cart rental fees generated assists in keeping the annual dues and other fees at very reasonable levels. Besides the opportunity to play golf on a daily basis at one of the finest courses in the state, the golf club also offers a first-rate swimming facility as well as a convenient driving range to help keep your game in tune.”

“Office Pub & Steakhouse 34218 Hwy 86 Eagle Rock, MO 65641 (417) 271-3323 If you can't tolerate the smell of cigarette smoke, do not try this restaurant. Even though they have a smoking section now, smoke still permeates the restaurant. You can get just about any kind of food -- pizza, burgers, steak, etc. -- and play pool if you want. They also serve breakfast. If you're into local culture, you will find it here! Open til 9 PM on weekdays -- 10 PM on weekends. Food is purely comfort food -- try the fried pies! ”

Convenience Store
“Viney Creek Store corner of State Highway J and Fr 2260 Golden, MO 65658 417-271-3819. A sense of adventure is required to actually enter the store due to its dilapidated appearance! Also, you should absolutely check expiration dates on anything you purchase! They are open most holidays and close at 10 PM. This store is good in a pinch, but not really recommended! ”
