“The underground is one of the easiest ways to get around the city centre and the West End of Glasgow. Running every four minutes at peak times, it takes just 24 minutes to complete a circuit of the fifteen stations (so even if you get on a train heading in the wrong direction, you will get there eventually.) It doesn’t run into Dennistoun, unfortunately, but you can connect at Queen Street Station where the Buchanan Street subway stop is located. ”

“Local Hotel here in Burnside situated off the East Kilbride Road - a short walk from the property. The food is reasonably priced with lounge bar and TV to eat and relax. Great as no driving required”

“There is a bouldering park here which is great fun for all ages (from beginner to experienced). The "easy" boulders are fine for most, bring your own ropes and harnesses for the more difficult ones. There's also a very good playground, a nice little boardwalk along the river and a wee food/coffee stall.”
