  • This is as lovely an airbnb as ye can find, a wholly furnished one bedroom house 5 mins out of downtown Globe. I have only good to say about it.

    Bruce2020-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • You'll not find a more comfortable airbnb. An entire spacious one bedroom home. We extended - that should tell anyone our truest views

    Bruce2020-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • The guest house is spacious, warm, private, quiet, and cozy. Although we didn't meet Thomas, he sent us lots of helpful information about the lighting and plumbing and technology in the guest house, as well as about local and regional points of interest. The bed is extremely comfortable, and the space as a whole is pleasantly roomy. We were happy to be able to use the full kitchen, which was nicely stocked with basic items and made it possible for us to prepare two dinners during our stay.

    Phil2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • Great place. Stayed here with my 6 year old daughter. Plenty of space.

    Jessica2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • We are a travel nursing company and had a nurse that stayed for 6 months. Thomas was a perfect host and this place was exactly what we were looking for. Great price, it had everything we needed, our nurse was very happy. I will definitely use this option again if we have another need for this area, Beth

    Beth2019-05-19T00:00:00Z
  • Great place!

    Michael2018-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • We chose this space due to it's proximity to Salt River Rafting. The one bedroom, one bath was exactly as described. It's clean and comfortable. The hosts were excellent. If you're looking for quiet, this is the place! The bathroom is between the bedroom and living space, which may be a bit awkward for some guests, but not us. The accommodations are basic and in good shape. The shower is very small, so if you are a large person it will be a tight squeeze. Globe is a mining town with good, inexpensive food. Make sure to check out the Drift Inn bar, in continuous operation since 1902 (originally a brothel and said to be haunted). We had a good meal at the Copper Bistro, an good breakfast at the Copper Hen Bakery & Cafe and good mexican at Chalo's. The kitchen had plenty of dishes, pots, pans and utensils. No dishwasher.

    Chuck2017-04-29T00:00:00Z
  • The place was great and the hosts were very thorough to make sure we had everything we needed.

Our cozy guest suite is located just one block from Historic Downtown Globe. It's a very short walk to a variety of restaurants, pubs, historic museums, antique shopping, movie theater and much more. Enjoy the beauty of our hidden gem and explore the history of the area. The view from this charming home is spectacular!
Our home dates back to 1915, there has been modern updates but keeping the charm of a historic home. This suite is located in the lower level of the house with a private entrance around the back side of the house. The space is separate from the main house and has total privacy, so an early morning out or a late night getting in will not be a problem. The space offers a living area with a full bathroom and bedroom. There is a full-size bed in the bedroom and if extra room is needed, the loveseat has a pull out bed in the living area. There are pocket doors that separate the bathroom from the other rooms. We do not offer a kitchen but the living space has a microwave, coffee maker, mini-fridge, coffee cups, wine glasses and a small table for eating or a work-space. We offer a 12 cup coffee maker/hot water dispenser with coffee packs and a variety of teas with all the extras. There is a step down into the guest suite, just keep that in mind when you arrive. Even though you are in the lower level, it is very quiet. You may hear a few footsteps occasionally as we do live upstairs, but we have no children living in the house. You will have a private patio area where you can enjoy your morning coffee or just watch the beautiful sunsets that Arizona provides. We are located just one block from downtown so you may hear the hustle and bustle of downtown living. There is street parking in the front of the house. We have placed a sign with arrows on the front porch that guides you around to the back entrance.
Downtown Globe is full of history! Enjoy the beautiful historic buildings with period architecture. We have a Center for the Arts located in the old courthouse that is a must see. There are many locally owned businesses downtown with their own unique flare. Lots of antique shops and of course a variety of eateries and pubs to choose from.
  • Tammie's place is a cozy little corner of Globe, with a fantastic view over the top of the town. It is very walkable to amenities such as local restaurants and also the grocery store. Tammie was very thoughtful in leaving out enough coffee cups, coffee, wine glasses, corkscrew, and various other unexpected amenities. Since we consider coffee and wine to be staples, we were thrilled to have these supplies. The space was sparkling clean and the bed was very comfortable. It would be silly to stay anywhere else in Globe!

    Kerry2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Tammie and her apartment were pure class. We‘re doing a road trip all the way through the United States without a fixed route. So we short-term contacted Tammie for her Airbnb. We got an immediate positive response and the checkin was so easy! I would definitely recommend and come again. Thanks Tammie!

    Georg2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean, very nice and very convenient to downtown Globe. Would definitely stay again.

Step back in time with Clementine! This 1964 Aristocrat Land Commander (a very big name for a tiny trailer!) is 13 feet long with a great interior layout that will afford you a taste of mid-century American style and innovation. Clementine’s interior has been lovingly restored with period-appropriate upholstery, vintage dishware & Arizona travel souvenirs. To add to the “camping” feel, there are roasting sticks and a campfire (as fire restrictions allow), games, song books, & a star chart.
Logistics: I find 2 people (maybe 3 if two are small) sleep comfortably on two full-sized pull-out beds that serves as the couch and the table during the day. The gas stove is functional, there is electricity, and water to the interior sink works by hand pumping air into the tank for it to flow. Clementine has an ice box for which you would need to provide ice, so it may be easier to use the small guest refrigerator and microwave in the main house. You are welcome to bring your sleeping bag(s) for the camping feel or bedding will be provided. IMPORTANT NOTES: Clementine has no interior bathroom, so plan to walk 90 feet through gardens to a shared bathroom and shower in the main house. Because this is an older trailer, it is not insulated. I have a space heater, fan, and small evaporative cooler that guests have said were adequate in extreme temperatures, but please schedule your visit with awareness of the local weather forecast. No smoking is allowed anywhere on the property. This home welcomes people of all persuasions.
Quiet residential neighborhood only a few minutes walk from restaurants and about 1/2 a mile from the historic downtown.
  • Truly magical place! I can't say enough about our stay. We spent our 12th anniversary night in Clementine, a beautiful old camper, who is remarkably clean, comfortable and warm! Thea was a wonderful host who told me stories, shared her homemade wine with me and gave me a tour of her incredible trees. From being greeted by Thea's sweet dog Wylie, to a sunny send off by the hansom cat Gidi, our stay was pure magic! I can't believe how inexpensive it is! I've paid twice as much for places with FAR less soul! Do yourself a favor, go see Globe Arizona and stay with Thea! You won't regret it!

    Vanessa2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Tiny, cozy beautiful grounds. Definitely will stay at Clementine again. Thanks Thea

    Colleen 2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • A warm and sunny spot in the town of Globe. The backyard and back porch area are a nice addition to the coziness of the trailer. Thea is a great host!

    Danielle2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • Sweet Clementine is a vintage gem! My partner and I spent two nights there and slept better than we do at home. She is so cozy and with all the iconic touches. Thea was a fantastic host. She greeted us when we arrived, as did Wylie, her big and super gentle pup! Thea provided recommendations for the best local restaurants, hiking trails, and other places of interest. Sweet Clementine sits next to Thea’s home, and there is a shared bathroom at the back of the main house. It was clean, with fresh towels and travel-sized toiletries. The sun porch at the back of the main house is a shared space as well, and coffee, tea, breakfast cakes, yogurts and fruit were provided each morning. The grounds in the back and side yards are abundant with native plants, water features, and hummingbirds are frequent visitors! There are several seating areas, a fire pit, an outdoor fireplace, and a bocce ball court for entertainment. The entire property was so relaxing and inviting, and Thea was amazing! We can’t say enough about Thea and sweet Clementine! We will definitely be back!

    Amy2020-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommend Clementine, such an adorable trailer, central location, and a very friendly host.

    Erin2019-12-19T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great time staying in the travel trailer instead of some bland hotel room (there are plenty of those but only one Clementine). Thea is a great host and knows the area well.

    Jim2019-11-21T00:00:00Z
  • Clementine is a truly sweet, cozy vintage trailer set inside Thea's walled garden in a quiet Globe neighborhood. The space is warm and neat, and Thea has done a lot with stylish details as well as homey touches. The trailer's bed is SO comfortable! The bathroom is just inside the main house, and while small, had a great shower-- and there's fruit and coffee for the morning. I highly recommend posting up at Clementine!

    Frances2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Great little camper that was so cute and quaint. Thea was lovely, took care to show us around and then gave us our space. She's created a beautiful little oasis with a bocce ball game and a garden path with a pond, what a lovely little space.

Pearl Hart 'The Lady Bandit' was the first known female Stagecoach robber, robbing the Stagecoach in May 1899 in the Dripping Springs Mountains. She led a notorious life. You can find her name carved on a rock in the canyon.

  • Previous guests have described this place so well, it’s hard to add to it, but I will try. In addition to the superb location, super cool history, wonderfully restored and beautifully decorated rooms- there are many indoor and outdoor places to relax or socialize. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious and Libby is both knowledgeable about the building, Globe and the wider area. Excellent communication and a thoughtful host. Extra bonus was sleeping in a bed that had been used in a brothel. What a great weekend!

  • Neat house! Enjoyed the patio and courtyard immensely, very relaxing. Great host and experience, definitely recommend. Thanks Libby! :)

  • What a wonderful experience to my hometown! The breakfast abd Libby was worth more then I paid for the room!

  • What a BEAUTIFUL place with great hospitality. This historic building has been renovated fantastically, and all the rooms are amazing. I particularly recommend this room -- beautifully furnished, roomy with space to lounge, clawfoot tub, and separate shower with great water pressure. (It even has the original, century-old floor from its days as a miner's boarding house.) Additional access to downstairs kitchen (fridge, microwave, etc) was also very helpful. I stayed two nights -- this is the perfect spot for hiking in Tonto National Forest or visiting the cliff dwellings at Tonto National Monument, only about 30 minutes away (Arizona's best secret, in my opinion). Go enjoy some beautiful nature and then come unwind in the lap of luxury!

  • Nicole is very responsive and attentive. Even made sure my preferred beer was in the fridge when I arrived! I had an issue with the AC in the bedroom and she had it fixed the next day. It's new construction, so everything is in great shape. Comfy bed and couch...couldn't ask for much more. The only downside is the train tracks are right outside the building. During my 4 day stay, I only heard one train pass. Will be staying again next time I'm in Globe.

The bedroom is very spacious and open with a vaulted ceiling equipped with a ceiling fan. The room features a large closet for guests to use. The queen bed had an extremely comfortable pillow-top mattress and will have freshly washed sheets and warm comforter and pillows. There is also a large, flat screen smart TV available to use during your stay however it still needs to be mounted on the wall.
The neighborhood is very quiet and the neighbors are friendly but keep to themselves. The home next door is being renovated currently and usually has workers there. Sometimes there is minor normal construction noise but nothing too obnoxious.

  • We loved this Inn! It was so beautiful, peaceful and vintage. So many little spots to relax and enjoy the quiet and each other. The breakfasts are so good and really power you up to walk around and explore. This was such a wonderful experience, we've decided to make it a new tradition!

  • This is the absolute NICEST place to stay in Globe. You can’t beat the history and location to the quaint downtown area. This place is IMMACULATE, very well taken care of, spacious, and our breakfast was absolutely lovely. If you are staying a night in Globe, stay here!

    Courtney2018-05-24T00:00:00Z
  • Libby is super helpful and she makes an amazing breakfast! She keeps the B&B stocked with great info on tourist attractions and outdoor activities. We didn't have enough time to check out the town, but it was a lovely place to spend the night after a day of hiking and driving the Apache Trail. Mexican food at Los Roberto's was on point, (tasty, inexpensive, friendly) - highly recommend.

    Christine2018-03-30T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying at the Chrysocolla (pronounced Kris-oh-kolla) Inn! It's a beautiful inn that was at one point a boarding house for the miners in town. But don't worry, you'll have a much nicer experience than they did! The room that we stayed in had a queen bed, a couch, and a very comfortable sitting chair. The bathroom had a separate tub and shower. Everything was super clean and comfortable. There could have been more water pressure in the shower but low water pressure is typical in historic buildings. The common areas are equally comfortable and very homey. The eating area looks out on a quiet garden where we watched the birds hop around in the morning while eating the delicious (and filling!) breakfast that Libby prepared. I can't recommend it highly enough.

  • We booked last minute looking for a place close to downtown and Libby was quick and amazing with welcoming us in. The place was very private and provided so many amminities of home. Libby showed us rooms that were available and we picked the Rose Quortz room. The amazing place is hard to explain because it was more of an experience like Alice and Wonderland. Libby had coffee ready her smile and amazing breakfast for us we will be talking about for some time. Thank you Libby for being so wonderful and welcoming and the experience of your home. I hope we cross paths again. Jimmy and Heather

  • The pictures don’t do this B&B justice. The entire dwelling has been tastefully refurbished while maintaining its early 1900s charm. Conveniently located in the downtown area, everything we needed was within walking distance. We appreciated the delicious breakfast and helpful points of interest that Libby so thoughtfully provided.

  • I'd been to Globe as a kid-grew up about an hour away. All I remembered was rundown buildings and dive Mexican restaurants. There's still plenty of that, but Libby's BnB made this visit to Globe comfortable, warm, cozy and welcoming. She told me about the town, where to eat (Bloom-Asian Fusion in the land of great Mexican food), where to walk to see great old houses...the whole package. The Inn itself has been beautifully renovated and is comfortable and quiet. I drove up from Phoenix to give myself a writing retreat, and the Inn was the perfect choice. Lots of places to sit and write: a comfy chaise lounge in my bedroom, outside on the one of the numerous porches and patios, even in the large sitting room by the fire. There's a great coffee shop on Broad Street (Vida e Caffe) if you need company. I will be back!
