“Best panoramic views of the city. Best time to go is at 4pm as there is ample light to see the city and usually can find a place to sit.”

North Indian Restaurant

“If one of my favorite Bollywood actors asked me to take them to dinner, this would be the spot. It’s really modern with a definite South Asian feel, and you can just tell that they put a lot of care into everything that they're doing. The colors are vibrant and the food is delicious. I would definitely go for my birthday or take a sexy date. I’m in love with the palak chaat, a great twist to a traditional savory-sweet recipe. I once worked as a server at one of their locations, and the chef did not mess around. He demanded excellence from his waitstaff and sous chefs.”

“Best burger in the neighborhood and fast/cheap to boot. I would switch out the standard burger bread with Ciabatta bread (free). Enjoy!”

“A quick service restaurant located a stones throw from the Westfield mall. The DIY rolls cost about $9 for three pieces, but they're so amazing and HUGE. Delicious if you're a fan of Vietnamese spring rolls. Be sure to get a tub of chicken pho broth, too!”

Ramen Restaurant

“Love their ramen! The noodle is made to your likings (choose: soft or firm) and the soup is very rich in flavor. Also to mention, the wait is reasonable but might be busier over the weekends.”

Pizza Place

“A quintessential, modern California resturant, minimal design, but farm-to-table pizza and pastas, best happy hour in FiDi. What’s cool is that you could end up at a communal table with San Francisco folks you dont know. You could meet some real SF Freaks!”

Other Nightlife

“It's a great spot to go before you go shopping or to Yerba Buena Center; they have a really solid menu the entire day. The menu changes seasonally, and they’re always reinventing popular favorites. You might not think to come here for brunch, because it's set up as a bar, but there’s a good amount of seating in the back. Go with the short rib hash, chicken and waffles, or pancakes—they're really, really big and fluffy, which is delicious.”
