Restaurant
“Great food and wine and great for families! They have a small playground beside one patio to allow the children to play while you wait for your food and sip your wine made from the winery on which it resides!”

Restaurant
“Hidden in a cave, open to a yard. An amazing restaurant which shares outstanding view to Kamari village and Anafi island. Its open yard is a secret waiting to be discovered. Delicious plates at a reasonable cost. You should try cheese with honey, broccolo suffle, lamp with feta sauce, rizzoto with sea flavours and many more...drink Raki and local white wine... A place to visit without second thought. Absolutely a must! Our hot spot of the island in Exo Gonia only 3min from here! (Do not forget to make a reservation first)”

Grocery or Supermarket
“Replaced carrefour/marinopoulos in 2017 to the area's advantage. Great choice, fresh local products meats, vegatables, fruits, wines etc and the best prices in Mesaria! Wonderful service and charming ladies (especially Despina) most of them local. One stop shopping!! Easy access and large parking what more can one ask for? ”

Restaurant
“The traditional tavern of Kritikos is famous for its large and low budget portions. The meat is really great and the starters are tasty. The place is very simple so don't expect a great atmosphere. Be patient with the service and have some cash with you since they don't accept payments with cards.”

Museum
“A unique museum where you can see the history of wine in Santorini. It is amazing to see how people achieved so much without the machines and comforts we have these days and to see how their culture and way of living was connected with the cultivation of grapes and the produce of wine. Plus at the end of the tour, you get to taste some of their wines that are by the way amazing.”

Meze Restaurant
“Excellent traditional MEZES (tapas ) kind of bar/restaurant. Live music on Thursdays and Saturdays (must book) and a unique Greek island atmosphere! Strictly a local affaire which caters to island tastes and friends. Excellent cuisine, wonderful wines, and raki. A MUST visit in a neighborhood full of fast foods and average restaurants. The only snag, it is a little pricey, sits only 30/40 and it's not for heavy eaters but it's a culinary adventure that just can't be missed if you want to understand what being greek is and what locals do on their night out. Count min 25 euro per person but get ready for a real treat. Order mydia saganaki, shrimp saganaki, house wine, and postalia.”
