Or find peace on the water with our canoes, recommended! Our atmospheric cottage is located in the back of the garden, and is built from the old building materials from the old auction of Avenhorn. Conveniently located 10-40 km from: Hoorn-Enkhuizen-Medemblik, Edam-Volendam-Marken. But certainly also Alkmaar, the Zaanse schans, Amsterdam and not to forget, the coast of Noord Holland.

De Klaver Garage

The Klaver garage is a private residence in a quiet street in the city center, with free parking in front of the door. On the Noordhollandskanaal, a stone's throw from the old city center and shopping streets, many cozy restaurants and bars, the city park around the corner and train station and supermarket are nearby. The beach, the dunes and Amsterdam are also easily accessible. Everything is completely new and equipped with every comfort. The perfect base for exploring Alkmaar and its surroundings.

Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. On the second floor of a rebuilt traditional Waterland house is this beautifully renovated apartment, once used as a hayloft. Located in the protected natural area of the Zeevang polder land (EU Natura 2000), famous for its birds like godwits, spoonbills, and lapwings. The view it offers is among the most beautiful in the Netherlands. Middelie is very near Amsterdam (25 km). Other historical places like Edam, Volendam, Marken, Hoorn, and Alkmaar are never far away (5–30 min. by car).
