  • Great experience in the cottage! Beautiful views of lake Champlain. The cottage was clean and well decorated, with amenities for all of our needs. Thoughtful decoration, the technology in the space was very useful, plus small details like snacks and tea available for us, made it feel like home away from home.

    Jean2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Super cute space, super clean - very cool decor / design. Right on the lake! Easy access to all the sights in the area. One of the best Airbnb spaces we've ever stayed at in terms of design and cleanliness. A++++

Our unique home is located at Shelburne Airport on a private grass strip. Pilots and everyone welcome! This 750 square foot private apartment is on the lower level of our newly renovated modern industrial style home. The space contains a large bedroom with Queen bed and adjoining bath, kitchen with all new appliances and a lovely dining area, and living room. Overlooking the Adirondack Mountains and 1 mile from the amenities of the quaint town of Shelburne, this is your home away from home!
The brand new kitchen is fully equipped with five burner gas stove, matching refrigerator and hand crafted butcher block counters. Queen bed in separate bedroom, updated bath with shower, hairdryer, washing machine, soap, shampoo, and conditioner. You can expect the kitchen to have coffee, cream and sugar when you arrive, in case you get in late!
As mentioned above, this is a small grass strip airport with only a few houses along the private dirt road. Houses are not close together, so you will enjoy a fair amount of privacy. As you look out across the field to your west (back side of the house) you will see the Adirondacks beyond with Lake Champlain in front (though the lake is not visible unless you get on the roof and we are not suggesting that!). Also to the west you will see the Agrarian buildings of the Teddy Bear Factory and quite nearby the famous Folinos wood fired pizza along with Fiddlehead Brewing. To your east you will see the Green Mountains of Vermont in the distance! Not as easy to see when the foliage is out, but stunning in the winter. Lovely sunrises and sunsets to be enjoyed as well! Local Shelburne amenities are all a quick drive away: Shelburne Museum, Shelburne Country Store, Shelburne Farms, a local grocery store, coffee and wine shop, Shelburne Orchards and a fine variety of restaurants.
  • Bruce’s place was just what we needed. It was super affordable and close to Burlington and many other hiking spots. It was super clean and very convenient as well.

  • This BRB has the all the amenities that you can think of, felt like a home away from home. Just 20 minutes away from Burlington, and very close to other places of entertainment such as the Shelburne Museum. The place was immaculately clean and pretty spacious. My daughter and her friend slept in the bedroom, while I was able to sleep on the couch that folds down flat located in the living room, this was very nice for me, since I didn't have to listen to any bickering! 😁. I would definitely go back there! PS, I was also able to cook a couple meals while we we there!!

    Shelly2020-02-20T00:00:00Z

Nestled in 8 acres of forest and rolling gardens, Hearthwood is a small, private bed & breakfast that combines chic modern furnishings and rustic decor to provide the classic Vermont experience. Located only 8 miles from Burlington, 30-60 minutes from many top ski resorts, and a 10-minute drive to beaches and sunsets on Lake Champlain, Hearthwood offers convenient access to main attractions while being a stone's throw from historical Shelburne Village with its artisanal restaurants, quaint shops, charming vineyards, craft breweries and museums. Come visit and discover the magic of Hearthwood!
Situated on a tranquil road only 15 minutes from downtown Burlington and nestled in 8 acres of serene forest, our rustic farmhouse, Hearthwood, is designed to be like a charming boutique-style B&B. The house is split up with the guesthouse on one side and our family living separately on the other. The Forest Suite is one of our six elegant and fully private suites (each with its own private bathroom) available for guests to come to relax and rejuvenate. In addition to the suites, there is also a fully stocked gourmet guest kitchen kept filled with a wide variety of DIY breakfast fixings, a dining area, a laundry room with front loader washer and dryer, and a spacious living room for relaxing and dining. We also offer a large selection of indoor board games, outdoor sports games and even yoga mats upon request for your enjoyment while visiting. Guests also have access to our private forest with paths that meander through and expansive lawns with Adirondack chairs and a picnic table for enjoying your morning coffee or afternoon glass of wine. Our spacious suites are each newly renovated with high ceilings and serene forested views. Uniquely decorated with white shiplap, a blend of modern and antique furniture, they are designed to provide the experience of beauty, comfort and ease. Each has a deluxe pillow-top queen-sized bed, hand-scraped maple floors, comfortable arm chairs with throw blankets for journaling or curling up by the enormous picture windows, large closets, dark shades for sleeping in when you like, and tables for working or eating meals privately. They are furnished almost entirely with natural materials including soft cotton duvets, woven wool carpets, linen drapes and wooden hangers. They are also appointed with DirectTV, wireless internet (although not fast enough to stream movies), all linens, and towels. The Forest Suite is decorated in whites, silver gray and forest greens and wraps you in immediate relaxation as you enter with a wall-to-wall window offering panoramic views of the surrounding yard and forest. It has its own private en suite bath classically decorated in white shiplap, subway tile and antique bronze fixtures. Or feel free to check out any of our other five suites. These include: The Lakeview Suite: Decorated in white, blue and gray, it has large, beautiful windows offering a tranquil view of the forest and the lake beyond. A crystal chandelier to add a touch of extra elegance. It has its own private en suite bath classically decorated in white shiplap, subway tile and antique bronze fixtures. The Rustic Suite: Decorated in creams, deep reds, golds and blues, this south facing room is the brightest of our six suites with windows on both the south and west sides resulting in wonderful sun throughout the day that will make you want to curl up in front of the window and soak it all in. It has its own private en suite bath decorated in carerra marble-style tile and an antique cherry wood vanity. The Farmhouse Suite: The most spacious of the six suites, it’s decorated in creamy whites and accents of natural earth colors. Being the only suite on the first floor, it is perfect for families with small children or those with physical conditions making it difficult to climb stairs. It has its own private bath located just across the hall with Italian ceramic marble and a massive shower with tumbled stone floor. (A baby tub and pack & play is available upon request for families with infants.) The Garden Suite: Charm abounds in this room decorated with serene sea foam green walls, white shiplap and bright pops of color. Southeast facing, it gets heaps of morning sun and enjoys lovely views of the surrounding yard and forest. It has its own private en suite bath classically decorated in white shiplap, subway tile and antique bronze fixtures. The Sunroom Suite: Although the smallest of the suites, we consider the Sunroom our crown jewel. With two entire walls of floor to ceiling windows overlooking the rolling lawns and forest, an antique carerra-marble topped dresser, and a wall of classic white shiplap, it will surround you with charm. Its private ensuite bathroom is done in sky blue with white porcelain fixtures. Since each suite is fully private with its own bathroom, lounging chairs, wifi access, satellite television and table for working or dining, it's completely your choice whether to spend time on your own or hangout in the common areas meeting some of our other wonderful guests. Either way, we invite you to come and enjoy your time in Vermont with us here at Hearthwood for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway.
Nestled on the border between the picturesque towns of Charlotte and Shelburne, Hearthwood is minutes away from almost anything you'll need. Visit the majestic Vanderbilt estate (Shelburne Farms), window shop in Shelburne Village, take a short hike up Mt. Philo with a picnic lunch and enjoy the panoramic views at the top, visit the breathtaking Charlotte Beach, find covered bridges, explore architecture and folk art at Shelburne Museum, or simply relax in our gardens. Your choices are limitless.
  • Wow, what a pleasure it was to stay at Lara’s! What a beautiful place that was spotlessly clean, so comfortable, and nicely decorated. It was in a beautiful, quiet spot in Vermont but close to so many attractions and restaurants. And breakfast was provided which was such a great touch. 11/10 would recommend and would definitely stay here again!

    Miranda2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Lara's place was wonderful! We enjoyed every minute of being there. It is a beautiful home and Lara made us feel very welcomed. It is located in a place that is nice and quiet but close enough to the city of burlington, that it was a quick 20 minute drive. We would recommend for anyone to stay here. You will not be disappointed! We will definitely be back!

    Brenna2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • AMAZING getaway retreat! Lara is truly a super host and she was so accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend and the pictures on the site are exactly what it looks like in person!

  • 10/10 The best mini getaway I could have asked for. Lara made me feel right at home! I’m looking forward to booking again with her in the future.

    Valeria2020-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommend Lara’s home. Host was extremely friendly, easy to communicate with, and went above and beyond expectations.

    Robert2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • Lara is a kind, considerate host. She managed to be present for us while being discrete at the same time. She was generous of her time when we needed her. She knows Vermont well, she is passionate about it and her recommendations for things to do were precious. The house itself is warm and cozy. We felt at home and enjoyed reading or having coffee in the common space. We wanted a vacation. We needed a break for the craziness and it is exactly what we got. The house is calm and quiet and surrounded by woods. At the same time, there are tons of things to do and see within 10 to 30 minutes drives. If we come back to this area, we don't see any reason to stay anywhere else.

    Martine2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Lara’s place was great! By far my favorite air bnb we’ve stayed in. Should we be in Vermont again soon, we will definitely stay again.

    Sarah2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • If I could give this spot 10 stars I would! Lara was wonderful, she is a great host and made us feel very welcome. She was easy to reach at all times and made every effort to make us feel like we were home. The place was lovely, the bedsheets/comforter were heavenly. If you're lucky you might get to meet the puppies too! We hope to be back soon!

My home is located in a sweet, wooded, quiet cul de sac conveniently located off Shelburne Rd. and accessible to all Shelburne and Burlington attractions & amenities. Guests enter through a private entrance and the guest room (which includes a cafe table and comfy chair) is bright and airy. Access to the private bath is through the adjoining country kitchen (which guests may use).
  • Very cute and neat space! Private with lots of nice touches. Will definitely stay again when in the area!

  • My boyfriend and I stayed at Susan's while we were in town for comedy show! It's super conveniently located to Burlington in a cute little neighborhood. The room and private bathroom were super clean and had everything we needed. And the bed was SO comfy! Susan is a great host -- check-in was easy peasy, she left us helpful notes about what to find where, and we had access to the kitchen! Thanks, Susan!!!

    Katie2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Susan is super, super sweet! Unfortunately, we were only in town for a night. The room was very clean as well as the kitchen and bathroom that we had access to. I loved all of the windows in the room because with the wonderful weather that we had, it made for a cool and fresh breeze. We would definitely recommend and would love to stay here again if we are in the area in the future :)

    Ma2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Susan's place was close and easy to get to Burlington! She was very accommodating and easy to talk with. The bedroom is very private (clean & comfy) and on a different side of the house. Thanks Susan!

    Samm2019-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely cosy place. Excellent bed. Susan is thoughtful and warm. Will come back.

    Andrée2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Susan is a warm and friendly host with a cozy, well-appointed space. Thoughtful touches included a welcome note, local newspapers and brochures, and water bottles left in the room. She was easy to communicate with and proactive in arranging check in. As other guests mentioned, the bed is VERY comfortable. I had a great night of sleep! Also, the bathroom is not at a great distance from the bedroom -- really just down a hall. Highly recommend Susan's place!

Located in the heart of Shelburne Village, this 2nd floor, spacious, sun-filled apartment has private access & is furnished simply and comfortably. 15 min outside Burlington/UVM, just down the road from Shelburne Farms and Shelburne Museum, with easy walking access to the local craft school, restaurants, coffee & wine shop, farmers market and lovely mom-and-pop shops. The property is adjacent to the train and local bus route, with Uber drivers and taxis as alternative transportation.
With a whole wall of south facing windows in the living room, a connected dining area and kitchen, the open floor plan is airy and capacious. Two good size bedrooms, a reading nook and a cozy bathroom with clawfoot tub complete the floor plan.
  • Clean, very functional, kid friendly space in an awesome location.

    Ashley2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Looking for a sunny, roomy, and very comfortable apartment in 'downtown' Shelburne? This is the perfect solution. You do have to feel comfortable climbing stairs, but otherwise everything is in walking distance (grocery story, coffee shop, wine boutique, shopping, . . .) and by car all of the greater Burlington area. Great place!

    Colleen2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment , on the second floor (with separate entrance) of an old , large house consists of 2 bedrooms, living room with a sofa and a futon bed, fully equipped kitchen , dining room and bathroom with a shower tub. The high-ceilings rooms are very spacious and comfortable. There is a large flat-screen TV with a library of DVDs and VHS tapes. The hosts are very responsive and non-obtrusive. Shelburne is a great launch point, Dylan's place is within 10 minutes of the famed Shelburne Farm, the former Vanderbilt Farm, now the home of the Shelburne Farm Cheese and O Bakery (great breads and on the weekends, croissants and danish) right from the bakery. The grounds are great to explore, we also took to the cross-country skis on the trails surrounding the farm. There are good restaurants in the area, within walking distance, The Bearded Frog, a good find. Burlington is a 20 minute ride and there is plenty to see and do there. PS: once a day, a train passes by in close proximity, causing the effect of a minor earthquake. I found it amusing, especially when some people in our group slept right through it.

    Daniel2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Great unit. Everything was clean and easy. Super convenient location. Also awesome hosts- very quick to respond and helpful. We’ll be back!

    Alex2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Great location...close to attractions in Burlington and Shelburne is a fun town to explore.

    Noreen2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Great location. Very spacious and clean. Perfect for a family weekend!

    Michele2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Dylan's place is just as pictured, with lots of space and sun. Dylan and his girlfriend were quick to respond when we had little questions about how to work things--like the heater--in the apartment. All our questions were resolved in minutes. We loved having a breakfast table and a large living room area, which my daughter used to do homework--there was plenty of space to spread out! The bathroom is an "old house" bathroom with a claw foot tub converted into a shower. It's functional, but not fancy. The kitchen has most of what's needed for cooking and Dylan offered to provide anything we needed (thanks Dylan). But we made do with what we had, getting creative by using the pots as mixing bowls. Overall a great week-long stay over the Thanksgiving holiday.

**THIS AIRBNB IS CLEANED FOLLOWING THE COVID-19 CLEANING PROTOCOL** This light and bright apartment is located on the second floor of a large home. You will be just two blocks from Church street, a number of downtown venues, and a 10 minute walk to the lake. This an ideal space to stay if you want to explore everything the city of Burlington has to offer without needing to drive anywhere! -Please note that the apartment is up a flight of slightly steep outdoor stairs.
This is a one bedroom apartment with all of the amenities you would expect from your own living space. The apartment has an open floor plan with a sitting area for reading and hanging out, and a dining table for meals or to work at. The sofa folds out into a bed (larger than a twin but smaller than a full: perfect for 1 extra person, two smaller people, or kids). The kitchen comes equipped with a fridge, a gas stove, and there are plenty of utensils and cookware to prepare food in the apartment if you choose to stay in. Coffee and tea will alway be provided for you. The bedroom is light and cozy with a glass door that leads out to a small seasonal balcony. The mattress is a pillow top queen mattress that will be set up with cotton sheets and a plush comforter. The television is a 40inch flat screen smart T.V. and is located in the bedroom so that you can lounge and watch your shows in bed (like a hotel room!). The bathroom has a stall shower and hardwood floors.
  • Went up for a week and had an amazing stay. The location is perfect, the apartment itself was beautiful and sparkling clean, and our communication with the host was always rapid and positive.

  • Great location (we walked almost everywhere), easy check-in, clean apartment. Thanks so much, Kathleen!

    Kara Chu2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Kathleen's place is a cozy spot just about a block away from the fantastic restaurants and shops on Church street. Very clean, cute, and well kept. I enjoyed my stay! My only issues were that the walls are thin, and you can hear the neighbors do just about everything and the shower is very small. Despite my best efforts, I got water all over the floor. Overall, these were minor issues, and I would definitely here stay again.

    Josselyn2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • The space was perfect. It was cozy and quaint, but never felt cramped. The perfect space for a few people looking to get some rest while exploring a beautiful city. I appreciated Kathleen’s clear directions and all of the local suggestions on the chalkboard hanging in the apartment! The only thing that might pose a problem for some are the stairs to get into the apartment, as they’re a bit steep and narrow, but it didn’t bother us. The apartment was very clean and tidy. I would 100% stay here again!

    Shannon2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • This was a nice, low frills place to stay within walking distance of Church Street. Just what we were looking for!

    Lilly2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Kathleen’s place was cozy and comfortable. After a great dinner downtown we enjoyed a night in watching a movie. Bed was comfortable, and has all the amenities you need for a place to stay.

  • We were happy to find a great location at a great price. Everything was very clean, and the bed was super comfortable. The coffee, we don't know what it was, was fabulous. Jackie provided us with coffee, water, linens, toiletries, and clean, warm bedding. We would recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the Burlington area.

    Alexander2020-01-11T00:00:00Z
  • Clean, comfortable and convenient location. Jackie's communication was excellent. Really appreciate that the price was the price -- not a lot of expensive extra costs that too many other folks add on. Great value!

  • Awesome location, extremely clean, and the host was very responsive and answered any and all questions I had. Great deal and perfect for those needing a simple and affordable place to stay.

In the winter, enjoy many ski areas 30-60 mins away for both cross country and downhill skiing! Or head north into Burlington only 30 short minutes away. There you will find The Flynn Center for arts and events, bars, and the beautiful Church Street Marketplace with cobblestone streets and eclectic shops and eateries. Middlebury is 30 minutes south and on the way, in New Haven, stop in to Lincoln Peak Winery or visit The Waybury Inn for brunch or dinner. Bristol is 15 minutes southeast where one can swim in Bartlett Falls in the hot summer months amongst waterfalls and giant rocks, eat at the Bobcat Café, Snaps or Cubbers - and be sure to visit Mary's Restaurant for a real treat. Vergennes is our smallest city and is 15 minutes south from Monkton where one can find a delicious meal at the Antidote or the Black Sheep Bistro.
  • We had a great time! Everything was perfect. The check in was easy. The suite was well decorated and very clean. We did not want to leave. The whole trip I kept thinking about how much better this is than a hotel.

    Lisa2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Great place, great setting, great people. The owners also life in the in the home (other side, not with you) so you get the personal touch of people who care. A definite do-again.

    Gregory2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • We found every thing pristine ,when we opened the door we said wow! It lives up to its name ,as Cozy Hollow. Kesta and Mark are truly Super host!

    Samuel2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Mark & Kesta’s place was phenomenal!!! Cute space perfect for mine and my fiancé’s anniversary getaway! Everything was spotless and perfect no complaints at all and definitely will be coming back!

    Alyssa2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Mark and Kesta are incredible hosts! Definitely would recommend to anyone to book your stay at Cozy Hollow! They have everything that you can possibly think of and more! The hot tub was the cherry on top to an incredible Valentines Day weekend.

    Gare2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Mark & Kesta’s place is such a beautiful spot. They are perfectly centralized to so many great locations in Vermont, and they are only about 20-30 minutes from all of them. They went above and beyond making sure to clear the snow when we came. They are extremely friendly and thoughtful. You won’t regret staying here.

    Regan2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • Mark & Kesta’s place was perfect! Really cozy and exactly as listed. They were very responsive and gave us lots of good tips for experiencing the area. Would definitely recommend.

    Lane2020-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • Mark and Kesta’s place was lovely. The space was better than described/pictured - it’s obvious a lot of time, care, and creativity went into making the suite what it is today. We appreciated all of the little touches - from the artwork to the popcorn maker, French press, and bottled of water waiting for us when we got in. All of their instructions were super clear, and the notes around the suite were helpful as well. Mark and Kesta provided a bunch of great recommendations for our trip (snowshoeing at Sleepy Hollow, breakfast at Parkside, etc). And to top it all off, the hot tub was AMAZING (especially after a long cold day outside). Mark and Kesta were extremely accommodating and responsive. They made us feel very welcome and our only regret was not booking a longer stay! We’ve already recommended this space to a bunch of our friends, and we will be back in the spring once the weather is a bit warmer!

Located in Shelburne, VT, on Lake Champlain, right down the road from popular attractions such as Shelburne Farms and Shelburne Museum and only 10 minutes from downtown Burlington. House offers 2 large, private bedrooms for guests with a shared bath. The north bedroom offers a queen sized bed. The south bedroom has two twin sized sleigh beds The rooms each rent for $ 175.00 per night. Since the bedrooms are extremely large it is possible to have an additional 2 people sleeping on a queen sized air mattress. The additional cost for that is 50/night. If you prefer more privacy and do not want to share your room I would recommend you book two rooms for 4 people. With this you will have the entire upper floor of the house. You will be sharing a bathroom. There are lake views from all the rooms in the house . A set of stairs bring you to the private beach. Biking and hiking trails are just outside the door. The quaint town of Shelburne offers unique shops such as the Shelburne Country Store and Harrington's, lots of great restaurants, coffee shops , and on Saturdays through the summer and fall a Farmers Market. In the summertime there are numerous concerts at the Shelburne Museum, Vermont Symphony performances at Shelburne Farms, and weekly free concerts throughout the town. Wine tasting can be done at Shelburne Vinyard. Beer tastings a few miles away at Magic Hat Brewery Shelburne Orchard has apple picking during the fall foliage season. And of course the city of Burlington is only a 10-15 minute drive away. All in all there are many activities to discover and participate in. Please let us know which bedroom you'd prefer when booking. Hope to see you soon! Nelleke
  • Nelleke is an interesting, smart, and kind person. Her place is super cozy and has excellent views of the lake, just north of Shelburne Farms. We enjoyed waking up to views of beautiful sunrises from our soft bed in percale sheets. The upstairs rooms are very spacious and feel private. Delightful

  • Great location with an amazing views of lake champlain!! You will enjoy staying here and Nelleke is wonderful!

  • Fantastic stay!! This house, in my opinion, is much more beautiful than the pictures even show! GREAT bedroom as well, with a super comfy bed and pillows which is important to me! What a spot! Heaven.... what a view!! Nice to stay outside of the hustle and bustle of B-Town yet be so close to it. Nelleke is a sweet and cool person. Do stay here, you won’t be disappointed!!

    Lisa2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Nelleke’s home was perfect for us. We were attending a marathon in Burlington and Shelburne, where Nelleke’s home is, was a short and easy drive. Also Shelburne has some great restaurants, interesting retail businesses and we spent our last morning at Shelburne Farms, worth making a stop there! Nelleke’s home is spacious, relaxing, clean and beautiful. Plus We were lucky to spend some time hanging out with Nelleke whom we all really liked. She is a lovely person and a great host.

    Virginia2019-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • What a rare find, such a lovely very large space . A lake shore with wonderful woods. Words don’t do it justice!!

    Anne2018-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Great hospitality and loved having coffee ready in the morning. Great, spacious room to just hang and relax. Beautiful home on the lake with great views and extremely quiet.

  • Very comfortable, wonderful lakeside property with fab views.

    Steve2018-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Nelleke’s lake front house was much much better than what I have expected. Her house is located very quiet and beautiful area near Burlington. We loved having relaxing time in front of the lake and walking around the beach. We also enjoyed talking with Nelleke. She’s a very funny and interesting person! Our standard for food is pretty high, and all restaurants she recommended were very very good! I highly recommend staying her place.

Cozy, private basement apartment with a separate entrance. Bright, south-facing windows and surrounded by gardens. 1 Bedroom with a comfy queen size bed, living room, bathroom, and full kitchen. The apartment is dry, cool in the summer and warm in the winter. 10 minute drive to downtown Burlington or the airport in a quiet residential neighborhood. We welcome everyone - business travelers, adventurers, and we particularly like to host families. We welcome diversity & look forward to meeting you!
We created this cozy, private space so we could welcome our family and friends to our home while giving them a little privacy, too. When our loved ones aren't visiting, we make it available on Airbnb. There is one bedroom, a living/dining room, a private bathroom (with shower, no tub, and full laundry facilities). There is also a private well-outfitted full kitchen and a small drink area (microwave, fridge, coffee machine, kettle for hot water). This space is part of our home, and we care for it as such. We choose products and cleaners for the space that are friendly for people and the environment. We recently remodeled with Zero-VOC paint and cork floors. We provide our guests with organic and/or local coffee, tea, milk, honey, sugar and maple syrup. Our space isn't fancy, but it's important to us that it's extremely comfortable and meets the needs of our guests - whether they are old friends or people we've just met. Upon request, we can provide: - A queen size air mattress set up in the living room - A pack-and-play - A high-chair -Other kids items - Please ask if you need something else
The Laurel Hill neighborhood is an extremely quiet and friendly small neighborhood. We live in the back of the neighborhood, across from a large wooded area, so see very little traffic. Just a few houses down the road is an entrance to Szymankski Park (playground/tennis courts) and the South Burlington bike path which you can follow to Lake Champlain or Downtown Burlington. We're in an extremely convenient neighborhood for access to anything around the Burlington area, but this is also a very pleasant place relax with no where to go.
  • Chris and Anne are really great hosts--they pay attention to detail and have everything you could possibly need in the Airbnb. It's the perfect size for two adults (and we have one infant) with a full kitchen and a nice living room area. We were very impressed with how they utilize the space, and highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking to stay in the area. We stayed here for 2.5months after the arrival of our newborn (we live abroad but wanted to have the baby in the US), and the apartment really felt like home by the end of our stay. You can walk to grocery stores, a great bagel place, and some walking paths/play grounds--and it's just a quick drive to downtown Burlington and the Waterfront.

    Liz2020-03-31T00:00:00Z
  • We’ve stayed here before, and were excited when we were able to book again. Not only is it a lovely apartment, but the hosts are so kind and easy to communicate with. The location is pretty close to the highway, the downtown area, and other shopping centers so it made getting around town very easy. We definitely recommend!

    Kimberly2020-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • Clean, welcoming, easy parking and very short drive to Church St.

    Dylan2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great spot to stay close to downtown Burlington! A lovely apartment with great amenities and generous hospitality. We were unable to meet Chris and Anne but they were great with communication and check in was a breeze. It’s a quick drive to the downtown which has lots of easy parking and fun spots to explore. I highly recommend a stay here!

  • very nice people, nice place to stay

    Tal2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed at this apartment for 1 month during a medical rotation at the UVM Medical Center. The space was absolutely spotless and has everything you need for an extended stay, including private washer and dryer. Anne and Chris were very accommodating and put in special touches. One example is a personal key code for the door that matches your phone number to help you remember it. Overall an excellent stay.

    Daniel2019-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • Very spacious area in a full basement apartment. In a quiet area of South Burlington and had all the amenities required to feel like your at home. Would stay here again for our next visit to Burlington.

  • We had a wonderful stay at this cozy and secluded cabin. The view was absolutely stunning and the cabin was clean and perfect for me and my boyfriend for a long weekend. The host was very easy to get in touch with and helped ease any concerns. Our favorite part of the trip was visiting Burlington (a quick 30 minute drive) and seeing all the cute shops and restaurants. Will definitely stay again!

  • This adorable cabin was warm and cozy even on a freezing cold weekend. The views are breathtaking and waking up to the lake just steps from the cabin was the best part of the stay. Everything is exactly as described, check-in is a breeze, and it had all the amenities we needed for a weekend stay. The heated floors were a big bonus on a cold day! We will definitely be back.

There is a beautiful stone fireplace (gas) in the sitting area, modern, fully equipped kitchen, and a separate sleeping space with a queen sized bed. I live in this beautiful flat with a cat named Josephine in case either of those facts is a deal breaker. Cosy Yellow is the smaller of the 2 bedrooms available in this Victorian home. It is bright & free of anyone else's clutter. The location is walking distance from downtown and the waterfront. Laundry & Apple TV among other amenities. The breakfast are of the highest quality organic, fair trade and locally sourced food. I can accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and grain free diets.
The rooms I offer are on the first floor of a beautiful Victorian House. The landlady lives on the second floor when she is not in Florida.
We are a 5 minute walk from Battery Park where the sunsets are world class. Also just as close is the Burlington Waterfront park, the boathouse, skatepark, fishing pier, sailing club and 8 mile bike path. 10 minutes in the other direction is ChurchStreet MarketPlace which is a 4 block long pedestrian shopping area. Nearby is a wetland walk at the Ethan Allen Homestead, a little further the Ethan Allen Park with trails and a tower for viewing the whole area. There are three parks in close proximity; NorthBeach, Oakledge & RedRocks. I recommend the CityMarket for grocery needs & they have a hot and cold food bar.

Quiet fully equipped single bedroom apartment located just two blocks from downtown Burlington. It's within walking distance of church street, UVM and the Medical Center, the waterfront, and less than hour from Stowe mountain.
This is a one bedroom/studio apartment located 2 blocks from Church Street. The apartment itself is stocked with coffee and tea, but if you're looking for more than that in the morning just a block away is the Barrio Bakery, where you can get lovely pastries and lattes. In the evening if you're looking for music and dinner, you're just a block away from one of Burlington's best night clubs and restaurants The Radio Bean, where there is live music almost every night. The kitchen is well equipped with utensils, dishes, a coffee maker, a refrigerator for food storage, and a stove. There is a private entrance, queen bed, equipped kitchen, bath with shower (no tub), off-street parking, WiFi, hairdryer, and a futon sofa that folds flat for a third/fourth guest. Although we already had places in mind to visit while we were staying in Burlington, it was nice to see menus and recommendations left out on the kitchen table by the host. This apartment is in a great location. It’s within walking distance from downtown Burlington and other notable eateries and such. We would definitely come back again.

*** Chosen by Boston Magazine as one of five New England barns to rent! *** Beautiful barn loft close to Burlington, the Green Mountains and Lake Champlain. Air conditioning, cathedral ceilings, plenty of natural light, rustic charm and lovely views. The space has its own entrance and is completely separate and private from the main house.
    >>>>>>A SPECIAL MESSAGE:<<<<<< To ensure your healthy and safety during this uncertain time, we work hard to thoroughly clean the barn after each guest. This includes disinfecting key surfaces, including handles, door knobs, switches, railings, and other items. While our barn features a separate entrance that ensures no physical contact with others, we are here to share local information, like great places to go and things to do. Jenny and Barry ************************************ Our barn is separate and very private from the main house and features a living space with air conditioning, eating area, couch and sitting area, a private bathroom and a bedroom with a queen size bed. We have a portable single frame twin bed that can be set up on request for an additional guest. The space is open and spacious with 3/4 wall separating the bedroom from the rest of the living space. • We loved Barry & Jenny’s place! 10/10 would highly recommend. 10/10 would stay here again.

    Alyssa2020-03-24T00:00:00Z
  • We really appreciated the extra touches here that Jenny and Barry provided. This included compost, recycling, solar electric, and bath products that were environmentally-friendly, cruelty-free, and fair-trade. We loved all the natural light in the space, waking up to the sounds of chickens, and that we never ran out of hot water! Barry went out of his way to draw my husband a map of where was a good location to run which was really nice if him. We would definitely recommend this space to anyone looking in the area. It’s rural, but close access to a grocery and the public house which was delicious!

    Maggie2020-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely gorgeous loft barn! Loved the high ceilings, giant bedroom and copper sink!

    Kyla2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay in the Barn. Peaceful setting, great clean space, with some solid VT charm! Easy access to both Burlington and Stowe.

    Dan2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • A great stay with fantastic hosts. The barn is a fantastic place to stay and change things compared to our usual hotel stays. Everything was clean and the amenities were fantastic. Since we are not of the area we asked to know if there was a particular place they could recommend to eat and Barry recommended us to the Public house. Great restaurant and great recommendation from our host. The whole experience is to be repeated for sure.

    Jonathan2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • This barn is everything it’s advertised to be! My friends and I drove up from Massachusetts for a concert and only stayed in the barn for one night but we wished we could’ve stayed longer!

    Rachel2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • It’s a beautiful peaceful place to stay

    Jennifer2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • The entire place smelled amazing, like cedar we think, and everything was incredibly clean! The linens were super soft, the bed and sofa were comfortable enough, and we had everything we needed! The only thing that would have been helpful for us was a slightly larger mini fridge, but all of the decor and furniture worked together so well, we couldn’t even be disappointed! A perfect place to hide away for a while!

Beautiful Burlington old colonial home with a small quaint room open for wonderful and easy going guests. Close to downtown Burlington and the waterfront. Plenty of room for parking. 2 dogs live here, so dog friendly people only! Close to Oakledge park/beach as well as the bike path! This is an old quirky house but beautifully kept with very comfortable beds and amazing 100 percent cotton sheets and terry cloth towels.
A very comfortable and firm queen size bed with 100% cotton sheets and down comforter set in a quaint small room. Terry cotton towels and spacious closet and set of chest of drawers for your use.
Off of Shelburne Rd. which makes it very easy to access the downtown as well as the waterfront, breakfast spots, supermarkets, and other retail stores.
  • Very comfortable and Andrea and her mother were awesome hosts! I wish I could have spent more time talking to them, but I was busy with studying and homework. I loved their dogs too!

    Caleb2020-03-30T00:00:00Z
  • This was my first experience with an Air BnB and I have to say I was very pleased. Responses to my questions with regard to my stay were answered quickly and clearly. I had a beautiful bedroom with lots of light and a four poster bed that was comfortable. My hostess was very welcoming, friendly and made me feel at ease immediately. There are two sweet dogs who live there and they definitely made it feel like home since I had to leave my four dogs while I was away. One definite plus was having available parking. If I had to return to Burlington, I would definitely book the room again. Thank you

    Janet2020-03-26T00:00:00Z
  • Great value really close to downtown Burlington. Also super kind and friendly hosts!

    Katie2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Ella's Room was perfect for our needs of a short-term, budget-friendly room. Ella & Santiago greeted us warmly and we had a good night's sleep. The house is clean and well kept. Not a lot of amenities, but no complaints from us. Easy walking to distance to food, brewery & Burton. We'll stay here again for future trips to Burlington.

    Jason2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Andrea is an absolute sweetheart and the dogs are adorable and super nice. The house is great, the area is super calm, but there a very nice restaurants and other things not too far away. Would love to go back if we go back to Burlington!

    Stacy2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed one night in Ella’s room, was very cozy and clean. The house is beautiful and has great character. Parking in the back was practical. Walking distance from a few breweries. Thank you for the nice stay.

    Rhéa2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Andrea is one of the kindest people I have stayed with during my time using Airbnb. She is a great communicator and her presence creates a calm home. I would recommend staying with her anytime!

The Barn at Grousewood Forest is located just 35 minutes from Burlington and 30 minutes from Middlebury. If you are looking for a unique get away, we welcome you to our converted barn. We are following the CDC cleaning guidelines to ensure the safest environment for our guests. We have great hiking trails for snowshoeing and exploring the woods, teaming with wildlife. Deer, bear, bobcat, owls, porcupine, wild turkey, grouse and more. Enjoy a fire outside or relax in front of the hearth.
We have a kitchenette if you want to cook. Looking for things to do? We are proud to boast that Vermont has the most breweries per capita and is home to one of the largest cideries in the US, Woodchuck Cider located in Middlebury. We also have some great local distilleries and even a few vineyards that remain open in the winter for tastings. If skiing or riding is in your plans, we are anywhere from a 40 to 75 minute drive from such great places as SugarBush, Bolton Valley, Mad River, Stowe, Killington, Pico or the Middlebury College Snowbowl. Visit Bristol, Middlebury or Vergennes for unique Vermont gifts and local art. The barn is a perfect get away. Come and enjoy all that quiet country living in Vermont has to offer.
We live on a dirt road. If you are visiting us in the winter, it would be important for you to have an all wheel or 4 wheel drive vehicle, or good snow tires to get up our driveway.
  • The barn was delightful in every way and Murphy is an excellent dog who filled my heart with joy every day. The surrounding woods are teeming with life and very fun to explore. Excellent hosts!

    Danielle2020-03-24T00:00:00Z
  • We can't say enough great things about Kris and Brian! They communicated quickly, made our check-in super easy, and cleaned thoroughly given the covid situation. Their barn was so cozy, warm, and gave us the relaxation and light-heartedness we very much needed. Kris and Brian ad fun games, adorable antique decor, a warm gas fireplace, everything you need to cook up a delicious meal, and a dog Murphy who makes you feel right at home! To put the cherry on top, the barn is within minutes of incredible hikes. We highly recommend this space for anyone who wants an intimate and relaxing getaway that is Vermont picture-perfect. Can't wait to come back!

    Sammi2020-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • Kris and Brian's barn is peaceful, comfortable and thoroughly relaxing.

    Karen2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • This place was amazing. The space was perfect and so many things to do but sitting by the fire was preferred. Everything you need to make meals, play games and enjoy yourself is there. Highly recommend. The place had so many cute touches!!

    Amy2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Adorable! So many personal touches to the space and outstanding hospitality. Their dog Murphy was a gem.

    Abbie2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent spot for a getaway in the mountains. Kris and Brian thought of everything! The place was clean, and communication was easy. We loved having Murphy greet us, and he got along well with our dog, Daisy. Remember to read through instructions before you arrive though— cell service is spotty when you are in the area.

    Savannah2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway, Grousewood barn is the place to go! We returned for a second stay and brought along our dog! They had a special little doggie bag waiting for her with some treats and a ball! It was a sweet welcome gesture. Kris and Brian’s place is perfect for a cozy trip to unwind and is close to some breweries and delicious restaurants! We enjoyed a day of snowshoeing on their property trails along with their super friendly dog, Murphy! We’ll be returning again and look forward it!

    Michelle2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • A perfect little couples getaway! Neat, clean and cozy with funky New England decor. If you're looking for a little taste of VT, you'll find it here. We only wish we could have taken advantage of the outdoor fire pit and Adirondack chairs, but.... we were there in February for Valentine's Day. It was 8 degrees F below zero that night. The Barn is across the driveway from the house, but all windows face away from the house so you do have privacy, and the windows have nice shades. Never met our hosts. They respected out privacy. We did meet Murphy the next morning, and he was very friendly and well behaved. Word of of warning if you visit in winter: the gas fireplace heats the main space well, but the floor remains cold and the bathroom a bit chilly even with the door left open. So bring your woolly socks and slippers, and let your partner warm the toilet seat for you! ;) Again, it was 8 below that night. Hope you enjoy the place

This is a fun 400 square foot apartment that is fully furnished for a couple days or longer. You will not need to bring anything.
Under renovation and ready mid May. This is an entire apartment that is around 400 square feet. It is located in an old 1850s mill building. The apartment will have a funky cool look. It has a full kitchen with old wood floors. It is ideally located in the center of Winooski walking distance to everything including several great restaurants and brew pubs. There is a river walk about one mile long. The apartment is only a few minutes drive to Burlington or about a 20 minute walk. The apartment has new furniture and has dedicated free parking.
Winooski is a vibrant little city that is fun on its own or convenient to travel from.
  • This place was great! Ended up extending our stay not just because it was so great but because Tim was an even better host then we expected! Thank you Tim!

  • Cute little place right next to downtown Winooski and close to downtown Burlington (7-10 min drive). Also easy drive to skiing. This place has all the essentials although we want to note a couple things: no extra blankets (we visited in cold January! Although there was a large space heater which was wonderful), Dark, small bathroom, and the bed could have been comfier. Overall great value and perfect if you plan to be out and about for most of your stay.

  • We loved staying at Erin’s house during our trip to South Burlington. It was clean, and we felt very much at home right away. She was also very fast at responding to any questions I had during our stay. She messaged me a day after we checked in to see how we were enjoying the space so far. Overall we really enjoyed our experience!

    Jessie2019-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay in a great location! Erin was very professional and responded quickly to any requests. The house was in a great location, very clean, and with a nice back yard. Also, there were some toys available for our son that were perfect. A thoughtful touch. We will be back!

This listing is for a single private bedroom (#2) in a comfortable 3-bedroom apartment fully furnished and outfitted with longer stays in mind. By the bedroom we only rent to female traveling medical professionals (nurses, residents, etc). See other listing to rent the whole apt. Less than 1 mile to downtown, UVM and UVM Medical Center. Located in the Old North End, with restaurants, bakeries, yoga and lots of character. Off-street parking. We have everything you need - welcome home!2
The three guests each have their own private bedroom with a lock on the door. Shared spaces include a large kitchen (gas stove, old farmhouse sink, tons of cabinet space and high-quality and abundant equipment), single bathroom (large, clean antique tub/shower), large living room with three separate spaces for dining, sitting and reading, laundry/linen closet area and a large three season porch. With many recent renovations, the space has been thoughtfully designed to facilitate a smooth relationship with other guests. For example, each guest has their own labeled shelf and towel bar in the bathroom, large cabinet in the kitchen, drawer in the linen closet area, etc. Bedroom #2 is the smallest (9.5ft x 8.75ft) and does not have a closet but does have a bar for hanging clothes. It has one window and is in the middle of the house (the window faces the driveway and gets a lot of daytime light). The entrance is off the living room. The bed is a full-size, medium-firm inner spring mattress. There is a medium-sized, 6-drawer dresser and a large mirror on the wall.
The Old North End of Burlington is a special area with a mix of long-time residents, families, immigrants/New Americans, quirky and special businesses. North Winooski Ave can be pretty hoppin' during the day, but quiet at night. There are a number of great restaurants and bakeries in shouting distance (Extremely popular Vietnamese Restaurant "Pho Hong" directly across the street, as well as Morocco Cafe, Butch and Babes, Barrio Bakery, The Chubby Muffin, Taco Gordo all within a block or two...). Also directly across the street is a large laundromat. Lots of yoga in the area, too. Only a short walk to downtown (3/4 mile), the waterfront and bikepath (1 mile), everything wonderful about Burlington is only a short distance away.

Private and secluded with private walking paths through forest and meadows. The perfect escape from your urban confines. This newly built small guest house ( 825 sq ft ) is perfect for the adventurous couple! With beautiful views, a screened in porch, outdoor fire pit, indoor wood stove and a cozy loft bedroom this is a romantic getaway for two. Close to Burlington, biking and hiking trails, Shelburne Farms and The Shelburne Museum and Lake Champlain, there is plenty to do!
As a healthcare provider I am intimately aware of your concerns regarding cleaning and disinfection. Our cleaning service will disinfect all touchable services while wearing gloves and mask to do the cleaning. As a general rule back to back rentals will not be allowed for the next six months and there will be a three day period where the cottage will not be occupied between rentals. Vermont fortunately has one of the lowest rates of Covid infections in the country in large part due to it’s rural nature, excellent healthcare accessibility and the administration’s cautious approach in dealing with the pandemic.
5 min to Shelburne Museum, Shelburne Farms, Lake Champlain
  • This little cabin is perfect if you’re looking for a secluded cabin with a beautiful view and beautiful structural details inside. The wood furnace heats up the place perfectly - we left behind some kindling wood for the next guests, but the host provides the logs. We left behind a wine bottle corkscrew for the next guests as well. His directions on how to reach the parking lot was very helpful and easy to explain to Lyft drivers if you need to. Once you arrive, you walk down less than a 1/4 mile down to the house, which is well lit with bright timer lights. The host’s must see suggestions are perfect - especially the breakfast spot. P.S. note that there’s a compost toilet, which was a new adventure for us, but easy to use and not an issue at all - water heats up quickly for the shower as well. We would definitely rent again!

  • This was the perfect place to stay! Close to Burlington and many other things around. The cabin was so clean and cozy! It had everything we needed. Though it was rustic, it had everything we needed. It was very private and you felt like you were in the middle of the woods. The views were beautiful! Check in was easy, and we had a great stay. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

  • Al’s cabin in the woods was the perfect spot to spend our evening after full days of leaf peeping, brewery hopping and enjoying everything else Vermont has to offer in October. The cabin was clean, the wood stove provided heat above and beyond expectations, and the bed was very comfortable. Al was quick to respond to questions we had, and to top it off in the morning you wake and look out over a pond a scenic fields. We would choose this place again in a heart beat. Thanks Al!

  • Wonderful little cabin in the woods with an incredible view and fire pit. The surrounding area is so serene and beautiful and the home is very comfortable - you won’t want to leave. Really lovely little spot, and close to Burlington

  • Great place to stay!

  • The Cozy Cottage is amazing. Check in was a breeze and communication was on point. We were planning on going into Burlington for the evening, but when we arrived and looked about the property we didn't want to leave, so we ended up running to the market and cooking in and enjoying the property(screened in porch and fire pit.) The cottage was well appointed and clean. The location and the views make you seem you are in the middle of nowhere. If I would have known how nice the cottage was we would have planned to spend more time in the area. Can't wait to go back.

  • Great little cabin in the woods.

  • The Tiny House was more than I expected. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine, coffee for the coffeemaker and some refreshments in the fridge. It's perfected located in a serene and romantic property. It's close to local restaurants and business. The Tiny house is tastefully decorated and the owner paid attention to details by providing luxurious hand soap, shampoo, earth-friendly dish soap. My favorite place was the screen porch with nice seating area and mosquitoes free, but the owner provided natural bug spray and mosquitoes repellent candle on the porch area. Very thoughtful!

Note: Due to an order by Vermont's Governor I may not accept reservations until June 15, 2020....Charming cottage with beautiful views of the green mountains. Lovely pastoral setting 30 minutes to Burlington, BTV, and UVM campus. 15 minutes to lake access, museums, hiking, Shelburne Farms and Shelburne Museum. Great bike rides right from the home. One hour to Sugarbush. Bagels, coffee and/or tea available for breakfast. Guests must be ok in a home with cats and a dog.
  • This was my first Airbnb experience! Although Rose and I never had the chance to actually meet, I had a wonderful time staying in her home. Upon my arrival I was greeted by her beautiful dog Mille and two very affectionate cats Rita and Tucker. My room was very clean, semi-modern, and offered great views of the Vermont countryside. In the morning, Rose offered me a bagel and opened her kitchen so I could even make coffee if I wanted. I would highly recommend staying here if you’re looking something a little more secluded and away from the busy life of the city. Note: Downtown Burlington is less than 20 minutes away and there are plenty of convenience stores/places to eat near by if you don’t feel like going into the city. Breakfast recommendation: Myer’s Bagels (Soooo good!)

  • Rose was an incredibly thoughtful host! And her cats and dog were as friendly as she was :) The house was located in a calming, rural location, and was clean and spacious. I wish I could've stayed for longer!

This cozy, private suite in an owner-occupied single family home is walking distance to downtown Winooski for dinner and/or drinks and only 2.5 miles from downtown Burlington and beautiful Lake Champlain. Close to the Burlington Airport and accessible to multiple ski resorts in less than an hours drive. This rental features a cozy atmosphere, private entrance and comfortable bed. This spot is perfect for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and small families. Dogs negotiable.
Please enjoy the entire upstairs of the house. The space includes a bedroom, a private 3/4 bath, a small sitting room. The bedroom has a memory foam, queen sized bed, a small table and chairs, closet with hangers and a dresser (partially filled with extra linens). There is a television with Amazon Prime and ability for folks to sign into their own netfix, hulu, or other streaming services. The sitting room includes a full sized futon, mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The bathroom comes with towels, soap and shampoo. There is a coat rack and a boot tray at the bottom of the stairs that is yours to use, as well as ample space for recreation gear (skis, bikes, boards etc.) in the hallway. I live downstairs with my two dogs (one of whom you will likely hear when you arrive). The dogs do not have access to the rental space.
Winooski is the most diverse and densely populated municipalities in Northern New England. We proudly support almost 7,500 residents in just about 1.4 square miles. We are home to lifelong Vermonters, American transplants as well as refugees from Somalia, Bhutan, Rwanda, the Congo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Our city's diversity is our greatest strength. Our little down town boasts many excellent restaurants from Thai to Italian, Pub/diner fare to local-vore delights. There is a great river walk and on Sundays in the fair weather we have a great little farmer's market with fantastic street food and live music. We are only 2.5 miles from downtown Burlington. One can easily get to Lake Champlain for a swim or boating expedition one day, a hike/ski in the beautiful green mountains the next, and top it off with shopping and a show on day three. This is beer country so make some time to stop at one of the many breweries in the area. (If beer is not to you liking, we also have a hard cider brewery and an exceptional Whiskey room in Burlington.)
  • Great place to stay! Great host. Great communication. Great location. Book it.

  • Elizabeth's place was nothing short of AWESOME! It was very conveniently located and it was super easy to access everywhere we wanted to go! The rooms were very cozy and comfortable and clean! And the amenities such as coffee and cups and microwave were super great! I would definitely stay here again, I can honestly say it was much better than even entire apartments I've stayed at through AirBNB! You will not be disappointed. Thank you!

  • This place was great! Very roomy and comfortable. Check in was super easy and the entertainment setup was very convenient.

  • Elizabeth’s place was adorable! So clean and cozy, bed was super comfortable and we felt right at home. Would definitely recommend!

  • This space is great for a couple who wants to enjoy the Winooski and Burlington area. It’s walking distance to the Winooski circle, which boasts great places to drink and dine, and it’s a short drive into Burlington. Elizabeth was super responsive and a great host. As a former Winooski resident myself, I wholeheartedly co-sign her binder of tips about the local area. She’s spot-on with her descriptions of each place.

    Alex2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed here the night before an early flight out of Burlington. The location was absolutely perfect. The suite is exactly as advertised, very clean and welcoming.

    Sara2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Elizabeth's place was very comfortable, clean, and cozy (important for frigid Vermont days!). Ideal for two people but can easily accommodate three people (as it did me and two friends) for a two-night stay.

    Perri2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Had a lovely 2 night stay here. We booked a couple months in advance and were met with a big snow storm for one whole day of our stay. Elizabeth made sure to be available if we were to have any snow related needs and kindly kept our entranceway cleared and salted. We did brave walking out in the storm, but luckily were only a short 10 minute walk from some great places to eat! And a very short drive to Burlington where there's lots to do and see. Would stay here again. Thanks Elizabeth! 😊

  • Well...we got engaged on this trip so this was a super amazing experience for us. We felt like we had a private getaway spot- romantic and so close to Burlington. I love Airbnb but this host’s recommendations were incredible. Our host directed us to AMAZING breweries, delicious local meals- and even to waterfalls close by. It’s no doubt a fantastic area in general but the hosts truly enhanced our experience. The barn has gorgeous views of mountains that immediately make you feel as though you have arrived in Vermont. Best snacks in the private kitchen (vegan and satisfied). Bedroom was comfortable and very cute with the hanging lights. This place is an absolute gem!!! We will be back.

  • Seriously can’t say enough good things about Chris’ barn and our stay there. The place was immaculately clean. You can really tell that Chris cares a lot about the space and his guest’s stay there. Got to meet Chris upon check in and he was totally warm and welcoming with some awesome insight on the area and it’s attractions. The Barn is set in a really gorgeous area that feels totally remote and off the beaten path but is in fact a 20 minute straight shot into downtown Burlington. Highly recommend this spot. We’d love to make a return visit at some point. Thanks Chris!

  • Chris and Lisa were extremely responsive and offered great local tips for places to check out. We felt right at home in their cozy barn apartment. Great for access to skiing and Burlington!

  • Saben's yurt guest house was a wonderful place to stay during our 4 day visit to VT. He was a very welcoming host and made us and our dog feel right at home. Expect a very clean and spacious living area, and a location that is central to plenty of popular places to visit!

    Brad2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Such a great stay! Our other airbNb had an issue last minute and we booked Saben's place about 3 hours before coming! The location was perfect and the space itself was clean and everything we needed. Saben was an awesome host and came and introduced himself to us and was so friendly. We would definitely recommend this place to future guests- it was the perfect location to explore Winooski, Burlington, and the surrounding areas! Thank you so much for having us!
