“Learn to sail or take a sunset cruise with the sailors at Lighthouse Marina Resort. I suggest a day sail to Sampaloc cove, and a short hike up to the waterfalls there. ”

“A meat lover’s haven, Meat Plus Cafe opened its doors back in the nineties. Their mostly American menu includes steaks, Babyback Ribs, Tenderloin Salpicao, Roast Beef and more. The restaurant has a clean and neat set up. There are lots of space, even though it’s always packed with diners. Location: Sampson Road, Subic Bay Freeport Zone Type: American Budget: PHP 500 Open hours: Mondays to Sundays; 10AM to 9PM Must-try: Char-grilled steaks Bldg. 65, Sampson Road, Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Olongapo Meat Plus Cafe is a fastfood-style restaurant that specializes in steaks. They will cook your steak of choice to your preferred specifications. From their wide selection of steaks, their bestseller by far is their U.S. Rib Eye steak (P500). Meat Plus also offers other a la carte meals such as U.S. Beef Salpicao (P255); the Meat Plus burger meal (P225), with fries and double meat patties; and oven-roasted beef belly (P235). For dessert, try their apple pie (P155/slice). It’s a burst of cinnamon flavors and cheese toppings. -Only fewmins away from @subichilltop”

“Affordable Japanese food that is a Freeport favorite. Go to the main branch, not to its Ayala Harbor Point branch. Their Salmon menu are their best-sellers (esp. the Salmon belly in skewers), although all bento boxes have good portioning. You can be capricious here: Ask the waitress to change the Sashimi or Sushi if you find them not fresh enough for you and the chef will surely comply. ”

“Another place that I love is Magic Lagoon Restaurant. A good place to relax and unwind! Facing the lake, this place offers Filipino dishes and other seafood favorites. We went once for breakfast and we enjoyed our short stay. I can say the place is also child-friendly and they can go fishing there too!
