“Robert Frost lived and worked in Franconia for the early part of his career and his house has been converted to a museum. A poet in residence lives there throughout the summer and provides tours. Occasional readings performed by visiting writers also take place. The home is worth visiting for its view and the perspective on Frost's life and work it provides.”

“ONE OF MY FAVE PLACES. Awesome setting in an old barn with stunning views of Franconia Notch and Mt Washington. Run by a 5th generation native. Has a REALLY COOL museum of the area inside (Bette Davis lived on Sugar Hill for many years). GREAT food items, antiques, candles, "penny" candy--just something for everyone. Fascinating. They have a wonderful post Xmas sale!!! Something like buy one item for full or discounted price get another for a penny. Open May-Jan 1stish.”
