“If you are not from Oregon or SW Washington, the name McMenamins probably doesn't mean much to you. They are a restaurant, microbrewery and a cool place all rolled into one. They specialize in restoring historic buildings and converting them to restaurants. This is a great place to get introduced to their beers and wines. Surprisingly, it is a great place for families and kids. Excellent food (not super expensive), outdoor seating (for the summer), outdoor covered heating with fireplace pits for winter and all year around in the historic building. If you can't decide on dinner, then this is the place for you. Average dish is around $10-$15. Great burgers and salads. ”
“Second closest cinemas, but has more choices if you want eat before or after. Nearby restaurants include, Chick-Filet, Old Spaghetti Factory, McDonalds, Chevy's, Burger King and Five Guys. Also near the Streets of Tanasbourne. Drop the kids at the cinemas and the Streets shopping area is about a 2 minute drive from here.”
“ Good lunch specials. Chong Qin Hot Chicken, Spicy Basil Beef and Chopped Pepper Fish are favorites. The food is a little salty though.”
“Family-friendly, Italian restaurant within a short walk. The bar area is cozy and quite comfortable for a person dining alone or on a date. I go there for a glass of wine and the BLT salad. ”
