At the base of Te Mata Peak, on an organic orchard, my 1900's villa is conveniently located within easy reach of wineries, beaches, walks and the Havelock North Village. The orchard is very quiet in winter, blossoms are out in Spring, Tui enjoy themselves in the Persimmon tree beside the house in Autumn and fruit abounds in Summer. Everything is here to make your stay enjoyable; an espresso machine, a well stocked pantry, a wood fire, and work spaces if you want to 'work from home.'

Our Cottage has been renovated to accommodate travellers. It is warm and cosy in the winter and with a large living space in which to relax. The cottage is in the centre of the Te Mata wine region, close to wineries including Black Barn, Craggy Range and the Te Mata Estate. It is a 5 minute drive to the centre of Havelock North, a thriving cafe and easy shopping centre. Wai iti Cottage is a good walk/bike ride from the concert venue and market at Black Barn Winery.

Gorgeous light filled studio in lovely garden.

Our studio apartment is totally self contained, with wonderful wooden floors and light streaming in from the garden one looks onto. Perfectly situated a few minutes drive between Havelock North and Hastings and decorated with a Colonial African slant. We always leave muesli, fruit, milk, and croissants in the fridge for our guests to enjoy on their FIRST morning, so they can relax and not have to go out for breakfast.
