Glamp Idy has always and will continue to provide our guests with the peace of mind knowing that we completely disinfect our listings after each and every guest. Cozy studio cabin, perfect for getaways great for Solo travelers, and couples. We love this cabin for its cozy comfort. It's perfect for just chilling out with someone, or by yourself. It's a perfect little get away. But if you need more space check out our other listing Emerald Cabin and The Patrician!
Cozy and welcoming, walking distance to town. Feel at peace in our lovely little studio. We have really tried to create a space for you to just unwind, chill, nap, relax....recharge! Whatever you choose to do or not to do we would love to host you!! See you soon!
Quite neighborhood, although we are not in the heart of town we are close in proximity and there are businesses close by.
  • This cabin is a cozy gem for two in the heart of the town of Idyllwild. Mike and I had a great time just chilling and unwinding from our busy city life. Would definitely return:)

  • This little cabin is perfect for a solo or couple’s getaway! The bed was unbelievably cozy and the amenities made my trip much easier, as a vacation should be. Thanks Monte and Jenn! Five star hosts!

    Taylor2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend & I enjoyed our weekend away from San Diego while staying at Monte &. Jenn’s. Check in process was easy and the cabin is just like how it was described. But of course it beat our expeditions. We loved all the thoughtful touches, coffee in the morning on the patio, Netflix before bed, bringing uno to the brewery and walking everywhere we went. Thank you again!!

**DUE TO COVID-19 EXTRA CLEANING AND DISINFECTING BEFORE ALL STAYS** Cantilevered & perched on a protruding boulder at tree level, this is Dennis McGuire’s first house built on the hill. With clear day views to the edge of LA and the beach near Laguna, this California-Zen sanctuary is a unique architectural gem. The House's prow extends on a direct angle to the summer solstice setting sun. Exquisite architectural details. Airbnb guests have exclusive access to entire property during their stay.
Architectural wonder, full of natural light and epic views in all directions. Downstairs bedroom has a protruding boulder built into the room, and the treetop views are epic on the giant window seat. Intricate woodwork all over. Every detail and decor designed for maximum zen. Central heat, central air conditioning, wood burning fireplace, 2 bathrooms, indoor sunken jacuzzi tub, top of the line hoti tub on deck, outdoor BBQ, full kitchen, wifi, etc. Truly a peaceful retreat for two couples, and one of the grooviest Cal-Zen houses around.
Our area of Pine Cove is extremely quiet and strikingly beautiful. This is one of the best views on the hill, especially at sunset (100 mile westerly views) and in the evening (epic stars). The perfect spot for quiet getaways, creative retreats, couples, singles, etc. Quiet time is between 10-8.
  • Beautifully stylish place. The hot tub overlooking the view surrounded by trees is a very special experience.

  • Place is incredible, private within a neighborhood, views are stunning - read that again, seriously - and all in all relaxation as a structure. Quiet spot, close to town, well set up and super interesting. Kelly is great to interact with, super quick responses, just can’t ask for more. I highly recommend

    Amanda2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • What a magical place! Only 2-3hrs from Los Ángeles. The cabin is close to hikes with beautiful views and restaurants with delicious food. The fireplace, the jacuzzi, the big windows, the decks, everything was absolutely perfect. Host was very sweet and helpful, always stayed in touch. We can’t wait to go back.

    Ana2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin getaway was absolutely amazing. From check-in to check-out communication was spot on. Directions were simple, the kitchen was perfect for prepping food for breakfast lunch and dinner. I would highly recommend staying here. The neighbourhood was easy to find and so tranquil. Great books and recommendations around the area. Keeping this saved for my next Idyllwild getaway.

Relax and enjoy nature at our beautiful, tranquil, lovingly remodeled A-frame cabin, now with a brand new expanded back deck! Within walking distance from the center of town, it's perfectly situated on a quiet street amongst the trees, buzzing with blue jays and hummingbirds. Curl up by the fireplace and enjoy surround-sound tunes, or grill some bbq after hitting the nearby trails. As a creative couple ourselves, we designed this space for romantic getaways and creative retreats.
We built this home with creativity in mind. So if you’re looking for a place to be creative in nature, look no further. Follow snaps of our cabin on Instagram at @idyllwildaframe *We newly installed AC & heating throughout the cabin.
We are walking distance from the center of this idyllic town and a short drive to two gorgeous lakes. It’s the perfect location if you want a retreat but also want to be close to town for dining and adventuring. Here are some of our favorite spots: For coffee, The Town Baker (have a homemade pastry while you’re there!) and Mile High Cafe have awesome brews. Our favorite bar, Idyology, is just a 5-minute walk down the road. It has live music, a fireplace, a gameroom, full dinner menu and fun decor. We love it there. On the weekends, look out for our furry Mayor Max! You’ll spot him in the back of a pickup truck, dressed very responsibly in a tie. He’s always down for a photo op. Want the best chocolate milkshake ever? Visit El Buen Cacao. Trust us. The best breakfast burrito is the aptly named Badass Breakfast Burrito at Idyllwild Bakeshop & Brew. Grab a flight of microbrews at the Idyllwild Brewpub- all brewed on-site, great for after a long hike! For a mild hike that’s kid-friendly with incredible views (that still deserves a beer afterward) we recommend the Ernie Maxwell Scenic Trail. When you park your car to hike, you’ll have to display an Adventure Pass on your car, which you can purchase for around $5 at The Village Market. There are two grocery stores in town: The Village Market has more specialty/ organic options and firewood. Fairway is larger and has all of the basics. We hope you enjoy this special town!
  • We had such a relaxing few days at the A Frame! It was such a cozy and quiet space, which is exactly what we were looking for. We loved sitting on the deck soaking up the sun and listening to music throughout the cabin. The loft was also welcoming and comfortable to sleep in. The views and sounds of nature provided an excellent backdrop to get away from the city. I also loved the fact that there is a full kitchen to cook in and a fireplace. Samantha has created a perfect space that feels like home. We will definitely be back!

    Dan2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Samantha’s place was fantastic. Very artistic and cool decor. Every detail feels carefully curated, but in a livable and comfortable way. Well-outfitted large kitchen, beautiful back deck, comfortable beds, nice bathroom, and spotlessly clean. It’s a quiet spot on a windy road just a few minutes from town. And she was great about communicating and checking that we had everything we needed after we arrived. Super cool spot all around.

    Sam2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at the A-frame! It was cozy, comfortable, and we immediately felt right at home. There's such a great aesthetic and attention to detail all around the home. Everything we could have needed was already provided--from seating to matches for the fireplace to the solid record selection. (The surround-sound in the bathroom and kitchen was a plus!) The kitchen was well-stocked with pots and tools to make a great meal. We sat out on the deck with a coffee during the warmer daytime, and also enjoyed the snowfall the next day. The house was easy to find and very convenient to everything one would need or want, and Samantha was super communicative and helpful throughout the process. Already thinking about booking it again!

    Lauren2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely recommend, this amazing place! My husband and I stayed out here for our honeymoon and we loved it! The place was super clean, had great views and had an amazing atmosphere! The kitchen was our favorite place in the home, it was an amazing experience to cook in the kitchen while hearing all the amazing sounds of nature. The beautiful little town of Idyllwild, was super welcoming, perfect for date night or a relaxing walking around the little shops. Over all, we fell in love with the place! Like I said we absolutely recommend this beautiful place. Samatha is amazing, she is very quick to reply and she gave us so many ideas of things to do around town! Once again ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND!

    Karla2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Samantha’s cozy A-frame is the perfect place to relax for the weekend. There’s so much attention to detail in the decor, and it has all the amenities needed for a weekend away. A quick walk to town, yet secluded in the woods. We hope to make a trip back in the spring to get use of the new back deck (it was snowing while we were there, but we did attempt it!) We’d absolutely book again!

    Kathryn2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This place is magical. Honestly, you don’t even have to leave this home. We enjoyed all of the special touches from the hot cocoa to beautiful fire place and the list goes on and on. My family and just had the best time ever. Literally all we needed to take was our clothing and food. The house provided everything else. I have a feeling we Will be back again soon! Thank you so much Samantha for all of your hospitality!

    Ashmalli2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Samantha’s Idyllwild A-frame is such a charming treasure. It’s even larger than we expected. From the front porch to the rear desk and every interior space between, this home has been curated with a very authentic mountain feel. We loved the openness of the space and all of the cozy touches like ambient lighting. We enjoyed proximity to town and all of Samantha’s recommendations while we were there. This place is a must stay!!

Close to Idyllwild Arts and one night bookings make it perfect for catching one of the many free performances offered at the world class institution, music, dance, theater, come up for an evening under the pines and get your culture on!! Unique cabin from Idyllwild's early days. Set up nicely for 2 people, but has a loft area that can accommodate tiny folks. Set under the pines and close to all this little town has to offer. You just don't find them like this anymore.
  • Thank you for the wonderful stay! It was a great experience. Location wise, its a mile away from the town. Everything you need is in the cabin. Quiet safe environment!

    Justine2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Great for a quick getaway. It’s a very cozy cabin so I wouldn’t recommend more than 2 people. The town is a short drive away or a 15-20 minute walk. Mark was great! The kitchen was more stocked up then i had anticipated so that was a nice surprise.

    Christina2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay with our mini schnauzer mix! The cabin is very close to the town center but it was difficult to walk to town because there aren't dedicated sidewalks or walkways. We enjoyed our stay, Mark's home is nice and cozy.

    Raymond2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Great space, great location. I took a solo trip and spent only one night but I could have easily stayed a week. I even had a lovely cup of coffee in the morning that was provided.

    Kathryn2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Mark is the best host. You get what he describes in posting. And quick responses to any issue. Thanks Mark for a wonderful stay!

    Daniel2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Great place. Dog friendly but doesn't smell like dogs. Very clean.

    Thomas2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Mark's place was sparkling clean and super cute - perfect for a romantic getaway, and super close to the town center! The upstairs loft is a nice bonus and a cozy board game spot.

    Anna2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin was perfect for our short trip up to Idyllwild. The bed was comfortable and Mark provided all of the little things that may be forgotten when traveling. It’s perfect for a two person stay. Close to town, we were able to walk and get a couple of drinks with no problems. We cooked a nice meal in the kitchen and thank goodness there were spices! Overall a great stay.

Emerald Cabin has always and will continue to provide our guests with the peace of mind knowing that we completely disinfect our listings after each and every guest. Walking distance to town. Open floor plan featuring 1 bed 1 bath and an amazing loft. Newly renovated, its mountain charm shines through with the beautiful honey pine vaulted ceilings and rugged beams. It has a mountain cottage vibe with all the amenities and comforts of home. If emerald is to big check out our little cabin.
We really wanted to create a comfortable relaxing space that was a far cry from a scene out of The Shinning. ( You know the lodge/cabin that hasn't been touched in over 40 years.) So we put lots of thought and love into doing just that. As beautiful as all that wood was we had to brighten it up with some painted. What a transformation. WOW! Now the amazing ceilings pop and it's openness and beauty really shine through! We change out all the old lighting fixtures to modern industrial to blend with the wrought iron of the beams. Renovated the kitchen removing cupboard doors and cupboards to open the space and a New sink/faucet were a MUST!!!! I could go on and on but you get it ;) Anyway... We hope you love The Emerald cabin as much as we do! Hope to see you soon.
The neighborhood is my neighborhood . I grew up less than a half a block from Emerald Cabin. It's walking distance to everything yet you feel like your very remote. The noise level is very quiet, you might hear a car drive by or and occasional dog bark. Our neighbors are near but don't sit close and we can't see into each other's homes as our lot is pretty large and the house sits back off the street. We ask that you do respect the neighbors by keeping noise to a minimum.
  • I really enjoyed this cabin abd would love to return in the warmer months. Attention to details all around and the decor is nice and cozy! A confortable vacation cabin for couples, friends or small family! Very convenient location as well!

    Mackenzie2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely home, well decorated, and cozy. So close to the center of town - within walking distance of everything. Hosts are very communicative!

    Megan2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Adorable cabin that is conveniently located near the town center! Clean and comfortable! Had a wonderful stay thank you again!

    Andrew & Suzy2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Great cabin close to the heart of Idyllwild! We enjoyed sitting on the porch with coffee, walking into town for food, and the short drive to hikes during our weekend stay. Small thing to note: the place does noticeably smell like its wood-burning fireplace, which didn't bother us too much but could be problematic if you have a sensitive nose.

    Nathan2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the cozy charming space! Great location, walking distance to all you need. Highly recommend. We’ll be back!

  • Loved our stay at Monty + Jenn's cabin! Very close to town, comfy and cozy amenities, and they were very responsive to all our questions. Would highly recommend if you're planning a trip to Idyllwild.

**DUE TO COVID-19 EXTRA CLEANING AND DISINFECTING BEFORE ALL STAYS** Wood and stone, mid-century sanctuary sits down in the forest on a spectacular, private 3 acre property with nothing but nature as far as the eye can see. Cedar, Manzanita and giant boulders. Epic views of Mt San Jacinto Peak, and sunset views towards the ocean will make your troubles fade away. Hand built in 1979 by a master violin maker, and meticulously renovated with modern luxury details. A
There is a beautiful, yet semi-long and semi-steep pathway from the garage up top to the house down below. Please be prepared to make this walk. This house has an open floor plan, with a bedrooms situated on each of the three different levels. There are no doors except on the bathrooms, which provides a communal experience. This home is 1600 square feet, big enough for 6 people, yet cozy enough for 2. To better understand how unique and wonderful this property is, please read the reviews online and the guest book at the house. This is a very special home on a large piece of unencumbered nature. There are very few homes on the mountain with this level of privacy and solitude. Enjoy!
The Violin house is surrounded by forest and California Chaparral hillside. Homes in this area were originally built as creative retreats for artists and professors associated with Idyllwild Arts Academy (previously called ISOMATA and part of USC) which is just down in the valley below. During warm months, it's possible to hear exceptional live music recitals from the deck at the Violin House, emanating from Idyllwild Arts. It's just a 5 minute drive to the center of Idyllwild. The house is up near a ridge, looking down on a large, wide open valley with views of the mountain peaks towering above in the distance. Extremely private, serene and natural.
  • One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed on Airbnb. Feels like you are in the middle of wilderness with a gorgeous view of the forest right from your bed yet it’s super close to the town and all the other attractions around. If you are planning to explore Idyllwild area and lucky enough to find this gem available, don’t think twice before booking it. Mike was super quick to answer all my questions and I will be back as soon as I can for sure.

    Bulut2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • This is definitely where you want to stay.

    Greg2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Perfection! On secluded 3 acres, with gorgeous views, the home is so beautifully made....it is in such harmony with nature! We will def be back! Just a beautiful peaceful place!

    Jacqueline2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Our personal experience was great. The hosts were extremely responsive and thoughtful. There was enough space for everyone to have their own privacy even with the bedrooms being semi open. Everything that people have said about the view is true, the amenities were great (even down to the nespresso milk frothing). All essentials were there and more. There was a heater that was very efficient in addition to the wood burning stove. I will say, the pathway down is no joke. I am not in top physical shape and cannot bend one ankle due to an old sports injury BUT it is paved and is manageable if you’re willing to take your time and look at the beautiful environment. A very steep driveway was WORTH every extra moment needed, and any little exertion to manage it. If you’re an abled body person you will be totally fine, I’m not and I was able to carry my luggage up and down. (slowly) This place was great and I would definitely recommend it to anyone staying in Idyllwild!

    Rey2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Gorgeous house with beautiful architectural features! Less than ten minutes from town, but still felt tranquil and remote. It was the perfect choice for our small group looking to get away for the weekend and get a little closer to nature.

    Abby2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at the Violin House was incredible! We definitely plan to go back. The architecture was beautiful and allowed for some amazing views. Highly recommend!

    Marisa2020-02-23T00:00:00Z

    Fnu2020-02-21T00:00:00Z

Surrounded by nature on Strawberry Creek at the top of town, The Owl Pine cabin (circa 1922) sits on our woodsy two-acre property. • Above and beyond the standard Airbnb experience, the Owl Pine offered amazing style, comfort, and lovely personal touches. Ideally situated in the charming town of Idyllwild, the cabin was an excellent launch point for our exploration of the area. We could get everywhere on foot. Cat and Michael were gracious and attentive hosts, and we already want to go back and stay again. (Maybe we could move in? We promise we’d be good neighbors! 🙂) Thanks so much for having us!

***MY HOMES ARE PROFESSIONALLY DEEP CLEANED every stay by my amazing cleaning crew. I pay them a living wage and tip them often to save you more fees. Two dogs maximum in the home (included in the rate) 3rd dog considered. Dog rules are listed in the house rules. WELCOME HOME! My homes are unlike most rentals. I make sure to meet all of your needs and then some. In addition to being an artist/designer I worked for the Hotel Del Coronado for years so I know 5 star hospitality well. Everything is there waiting for you and anything else you may want, just ask. If The Little House is full you may want to book one of my other designed and managed 5 star homes at airbnb.com/rooms/11770906 & 19924620. LOFT NOTE: The adorable, cozy loft is best suited for small adults or children. I have slept up there and so have my friends and love it. Many guests have been happy with it but due to the low ceiling it is not for everyone. This charming, totally unique, bright and sunny 1955 "tiny home" is fully refurbished and designed by me, Melissa, the owner and long time Idyllwild resident/artist/teacher. It is very upscale, clean and well stocked. This cozy little yet spacious 550 square foot “Little House” is filled with my art and has a post modern-industrial-chic feel. The nearly 1/2 acre backyard is completely fenced and private in a very quiet neighborhood. The front deck is also fenced so your dogs can be with you off leash wherever you go! The space works well for one to two people, couples or a small family (including the family dog!). It is also the perfect place for entertaining on the two decks (as long as the noise level stays respectful to the neighbors). Important to note: You will feel cozy and warm in the winter and cool in the summer due to our brand new state of the art HVAC unit. In addition, the warmth from the wood burning stove and ceiling fans will help too. High definition smart TV providing Netflix, and many other internet applications. Cable is also available with over 120 channels. Free WIFI, an assortment of books and games are available also. Well stocked kitchen and bathroom if you ran out or forgot something. Some wood provided free of charge to enjoy the wood burning stove.
Beautiful hikes and mountain biking from easy to difficult are close by. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, close to everything (but it’s Idyllwild, everything is close!). We have a recommendation list available at The Little House. The town center is just 1.5 miles away. No parties please, but having some friends over to barbecue or enjoy a beverage on the deck(s) is fine. Our neighborhood is very quiet and has some full time owners who would not appreciate the noise. Please observe extra quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am.
  • All the amenities provided here! Fully stocked kitchen. All of our comfort needs were anticipated.

  • Another great stay at the Little House! We had a light dusting of snow the afternoon we arrived and our Beagle had the time of her life getting her paws frosty for the first time in her life :) The cabin is absolutely perfect if you bring your fur baby, with a high sturdy fence all around the yard and now also a fenced front patio. We love the cabin’s cleanness and coziness and it’s tasteful design. All you need in bathroom and kitchen is present. Melissa also gave some great local tips. For an “easy” hike head to the Ernie Maxwell Scenic Trial. We had the best time curling up on the couch with the wood fire burning. I am expecting we’ll be back many more times. Highly recommended.

    Caroline2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Kitchen was very well equipped. Backyard was awesome. Our dogs loved playing in the large backyard area. Front porch was great spot to hang in the afternoon. We’ll definitely let our friends know about this little gem in our favorite mountain town. .

    Rick2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay. Our two dogs ran up and down the hill in the backyard looking for critters. Oh Saturday there was hail which turned to snow and made for the perfect mountain getaway. The home was cozy and convenient to town. Definitely recommend Melissa's place for people and pups alike. Thanks for providing a place for dog parents with well behaved dogs to visit.

  • Fantastic place - highly recommend! Melissa is an amazing host and you can tell she has put time, care and love into the Little House. Our family of 4 was quite comfortable here and the kids (10) and (8) loved it! Wonderful outside space for hanging out, playing catch, reading and relaxing etc. We really had a great time! Will certainly stay here again!

    Steve2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful place! We had a great time. Would stay again.

    Jason2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • We will definitely stay here again. The little house was cozy, thoughtfully decorated and well provisioned. The property is ideal for dogs. It's secure and offers a very large yard for running and playing. We could have hung out in the hammock chairs all day and just watched our Heeler mix and Border Collie foster play chase and keep away around the little stand of trees in the yard. The location is very quiet too. We were hoping for snow for the dogs to play in but it was just cold and dry. We also planned on hiking the dogs but our new foster dog was still a little too excited (reactive) with what little traffic and activity Idyllwild had to offer. So we pretty much just stayed at the house most of the time and practiced more training. The atmosphere of the home and location were enough to still make it an enjoyable and memorable stay. This is easily at the top of our favorite places to stay now.

    Faye2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • Melissa's home is a great getaway! We loved everything about it. Our dogs loved the huge backyard (we loved the treehouse, hammock and individual hammock swings-that was my fave!)! They sure had a blast and we truly enjoyed it all. We didn't leave the house once! That's how much we loved Melissa's home!!! ❤

Please note, we now follow the CDC guidelines for disinfection of all surfaces. Also, we require 24h between bookings, so there will be no prior guest the day you arrive. Well… not actually a tree house, but you'll feel like you're in one. Nestled behind two huge boulders, on a quiet street, lies this 1938 vintage cabin, with views of tree or sky from every window. 10% county tax included.
Large living room and open kitchen, with an island that is great for cooking and entertaining. A beautiful restored Wedgewood stove is the centerpiece of the kitchen. There is an old oak pub table, with a unique mica hanging lamp, in the dining area that can extend for seating up to six people (vintage folding chairs available). Upstairs master bedroom has en suite 1/2 bath, Casper bed, and reading area with a claw foot oak reclining Morris chair. The other bedroom is larger, but is open to the stairwell, so not quite the privacy of the master. Downstairs bath has a claw foot tub with shower and mosaic tile floor. Coffee beans and a grinder provided. We have a French press and 4 cup coffee maker also. Gas BBQ on the deck. No frilly curtains, kitsch or tchotchkes… just classic cabin! As noted in our house rules, pet owners are not allowed to instant book. $40 pet fee per booking. We are flexible with check-in and check-out times if the cabin is not booked consecutive days, but early check-in on Sunday is rare. Just ask the day before you arrive.
Ten minute walk to the wonderful Mile High Cafe, and another twelve minute walk into town along the Strawberry Creek trail.
  • Lovely cozy cabin in a nice location close to the town centre. Friendly hosts with local tips and a super easy check in and out, a perfect stop for a weekend getaway, would stay again!

  • I loved this cabin! About a mile into town. The street was quiet, the kitchen was well stocked, and easy check-in. John was very responsive -- I love this place and would absolutely stay again.

  • John and Lara were fantastic hosts and the cabin was absolutely perfect! Great setup, comfortable and clean. We'd love to stay again sometime in the future!

  • John and Lara's place is a great choice! Perfect for a weekend get away. The house is really nice, the place is clean, and the communication is fast and easy. Highly recommend to others considering going to Idyllwild.

  • Hosts were very attentive! The place is very homey and gives that cabin feel we were looking for!

    Sarah2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Nice place, close to town, easy to get to. Loved the kitchen. Great hospitality, even noticed the heat wasn't working before I did. Before I could even say anything, he was already taking steps to make sure we didn't freeze to death!

    Tammy2020-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful cabin with tons of character. We never wanted to leave because it was so comfy. Heater worked so well and we were cozy 24/7! Would absolutely recommend and we will be staying here more often.

Comfy cabin in the heart of Idyllwild sleeps four. Apparently the hwy 243 is back up and running! The 74 from Hemet has also been fixed and is open 24/7. Another great way to get to Idyllwild is to GPS to Anza which is not very far from Hemet, and from there you take the 371 to the 74... a lovely drive through the Anza valley and won't take too much longer.
This lovely home sleeps four. Super comfortable laid back environment with an updated kitchen and bathroom. Relax on the porch and breathe in the fresh pine air. You'll find the quiet soothes your every worry away... The house is on a fenced half acre so your dog will have as much fun as you! Walk a few blocks and you have all the conveniences of a most friendly and quaint town center. Restaurants, a movie theater, coffee shop, health food and grocery stores, pizza place, post office, art studios...you'll find it all within walking distance. Walk just a block further and make your way down to Strawberry Creek. And of course there are walks and hikes and mountain biking trails all close by. Tahquitz Peak, Lilly Rock, Suicide Rock. There's a Ranger Station just a few blocks down the road for hiking tips or you can check out the nature center as well for trail guides. There is Fulmor Lake to play in or fish, or rent a boat on Hemet Lake just a 15 minute drive. So much to explore in this beautiful enclave! The house has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed, the other with two twin beds. The attic is carpeted and comfy for kids to play in. There are some fun board games downstairs. And lots of videos too which you can watch on the tv up in the attic while you lounge on a beanbag chair... We want to mention that we don't have AC. A few folks have been disappointed about that so we want to make a point about that. We do have two fans, and we find that if we open the windows in the evening it always cools down usually into the 50's or 60's at night. But for those of you that really enjoy having the AC on, this probably isn't the spot for you! This home is still a bit of a work in progress.. But nevertheless, it is equipped with the basics and it's a comfortable and lovely spot for low maintenance types who are content with the simple things in life! (i.e. no cable tv...though we do have internet service!) I try to be as flexible as possible with the check in/out timesl, and if I don't have other guests checking in or out I am happy to accommodate early check-in... But in many circumstances I will need to adhere to the 3PM check in and 12PM check out times...Thank you!! (During the Holidays I generally stick to a three day minimum stay. I do consider one night rentals, but generally don't book those far in advance. If your trip is over a week away, I usually ask for a two night minimum, but if it's coming up soon and the place is available I'm happy to rent for one night! Thanks for understanding!)
We love that we can walk to town! We are so close to the shops and restaurants, yet still immersed in nature.
  • This is my second time staying here. I am a huge fan. Nice big open space. Super clean. Great getaway for me and Daizy... she LOVES running around the secure, fenced yard, looking for pine cones. I will be back!

  • Amazing. Every time.

    Brad2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • This is the perfect cabin. Great location, easy to walk into town. The fenced yard was a huge plus for our getaway with the dog. The kitchen is big and the couch and chairs are comfy. The fireplace was a huge plus and the heater worked great as well.

    Bree2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Great little cabin. Centrally located and an easy walk to town.

    Marston2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • We would stay again. 1) the cabin is in a prime location. You can easily walk into town- it's barely a walk- even on cold nights. 2) the property itself is fenced with varied trees and terrain. We'll certainly bring back a dog. It's like a city- dog paradise and the fenced yard means you can let them roam. 3) Host Alix is very prompt and helpful. 4) the upstairs loft is a fun hang out with a good selection of DVDs 5) furniture is very comfy. There were even oversized dog beds. Also a big kitchen for comparable rentals. 6) heater definitely works!

    Jamey2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • Alix was very responsive, always getting back to me within minutes. Check in/check out was a breeze! Great cabin and great location. Just a short walk to the shops and restaurants, but still has a quiet/secluded mountain feel.

My place is a quiet lovely located about 3 miles from Idyllwild town. It is a beautiful little romantic place with its own little deck to have coffee on and the short drive to Idyllwild has some beautiful view. If you enjoy fishing Lake Fulmur is just up. Has free WiFi and cable channels and new air conditioners.
  • The place is nice, it's about a 5 minute drive into the Rangers station and the little town. The nature center is down the way as well. There is a "faux" fireplace that's electric to warm the living room, and a heater in the bedroom, no heater in the bathroom. Bring your own soap, shampoo and conditioner. There are all the appliances you will need with the fridge. There is salt and pepper, canola oil, but if you want more spices, bring your own. I did a little bit of cooking, so I enjoyed having the option to cook. I stayed with my dog, and it was just the right size for the two of us. There is a glass table, and my dog is just the right height so I had to make sure she didn't hit her head on the corner of it. The backyard is shared with her other yellow property. There was some trash left, probably from the previous folks who stayed. The people next to me had 3 dogs, so I never let mine off leash just in case they let their dogs out, but the space is large. There's a BBQ out front that I didn't use. The place is nice and quiet, quaint, and I'd go there again. It's a great value. One night I saw 3 birds flying and heard them flapping their wings. It was a cool moment.

  • This cozy cabin was a great spot for a couple's Friday night-Sunday trip. Just a couple miles from downtown, it was kept very well and had plenty of heat & blankets. I would definitely stay here again!

    Mason2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great place for two. Not a fan of the yellow house being next door and the people who stayed where not clean. But they were there less days then us so not too bad. Loved this little house, the location was perfect. Clean and cozy. We fell in love with this place and can’t wait to go back.

    Wendy2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Elizas place was so cozy for me and my boyfriends small winter retreat. The cabin is only a few minutes drive to the city center and from various hiking trails. It has all the amenities you will need for a small weekend getaway.

    Marlene2020-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • Eliza was easy to communicate with and fast responses. Their place is located about 2 miles from downtown Idyllwild. Very clean and remodeled with new paint and cozy. Separate cabin like setting with an adjacent home. Very private, outdoor grill, refrigerator, sink, stove and oven.

    Tony2020-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • Pet friendly places are at the top of my list, this spot was located near some great hiking areas and had room for my dogs to run around outside in the morning. Eliza even provided dog bowls and leashes in case I forgot my own!

    Corrie2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • I was very happy with the place! I loved being around the little town and enjoyed having my own parking space and patio. The space is perfect for couples — especially couples who have a little pup. I appreciated the leashes, pet bowls, and poopie bags they had for our pup! Cabin was as described, very clean, and they had the kitchen essentials needed. I would definitely recommend!

Mountain Modern is the perfect place to get away and enjoy the slow paced life among pine trees. A 3 bedroom 2 bath A-Frame cabin set on a tree covered hillside. You can be in complete serenity but still 5 minutes to Idyllwild town center, many hiking trails and all the area has to offer. Mountain Modern is an eclectic mix of mid-century, bohemian and mountain rustic vibes.
Mountain Modern is the place to unwind, kick back and slow down among the trees. Our dog-friendly A-Frame cabin features 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a dining room and kitchen that includes a variety of cooking utensils and a French press. Our favorite room in the house is the A-Frame loft bedroom upstairs. After you've had time to relax while listening to some vinyl records, you're only 5 minutes away from a Idyllwild town center and many hiking trails. Some of our favorite spots in town include Plant Food Supper Club, The Backroom, Bake and Brew Coffee, Idyology and many more. Mountain Modern was lovingly updated and reimagined by Echo Ranch, with the thought to create a comfy cabin featuring an eclectic mix of modern and rustic furniture and other finds. The Master bedroom is equipped with one King bed, while the guest bedroom and loft have Queen beds. You'll enjoy hanging outside just as much as inside: have a cup of coffee or eat your meals on our floating deck, high in the tree tops. Nap in the outdoor hammock and wait for the evening when you can enjoy some incredible stargazing. It's so nice to relax and hear the gentle wind blow through the pines and cedars. The side yard is fully enclosed for those of you who have a doggie best friend, but please make sure to clean up after your pet. We hope you enjoy your stay just as much as we always do, and are just as sad to leave.
Mountain Modern is located just 5 minutes away from Idyllwild town center.
  • Wonderful nest with woodfire and European design touch in a pristine forest environment. Highly recommended!

  • We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Mountain Modern cabin. We loved the decor and layout of the space. It had everything we needed! We especially enjoyed the record player and fireplace. The cabin is just a short drive to the main town square and located on a very quiet street. Would recommend to anyone visiting Idyllwild and would definitely stay here again ourselves. Thanks!!

  • 10/10 would recommend this lovely A-Frame to anyone going to Idyllwild, but selfishly, I want it to stay a hidden gem so it's available whenever I go back! Chris and Anna were fantastic hosts, quick to respond, and have created an incredible space not far from downtown Idyllwild. The home is decorated like something off of a Pinterest board, the beds are comfy, the fireplace makes the home oh-so-cozy, and the porch is perfect for a post-hike glass of wine and relaxation. Close to lots of trailheads and the House Manual was full of great recommendations in the area, from dining to meeting Mayor Max. I would absolutely stay here again, and cannot thank Chris and Anna enough for sharing their space with others!

  • This home is so beautiful and cozy, I wish i could of stayed longer. All rooms are decorated so pretty. Me and my family enjoyed a wonderful time here. I am so happy that i chose this home to stay for our first time visiting. Looked so pretty surrounded by snow. The whole house is spotless! Beds are comfortable and sheets and pillows smell so clean! Bathrooms and kitchen are so nice and have everything you need. Fireplace heats up fast and warms up the whole house, feels so cozy. You will not regret staying here. This home looks brand new from inside and out! I will definitely be booking here again for our next stay. Loved the cute town with all the shops and restaurants, only about 5 mins away by car. Every one is so nice here. I also need to mention that the owner is so nice and will get back to you right away when having a question. I cannot wait for my next stay.

Please note, we now follow the CDC guidelines for disinfection of all surfaces. Also, we require 24h between bookings, so there will be no prior guest the day you arrive. If you like the Ahwahnee hotel in Yosemite, you'll love our little Ahwahnee-be cabin. Decorated with mission oak furniture and Indian themed fabrics and Pendletons, this 1953 vintage cabin is just an 8 minute walk into town. 10% county tax included.
Walk to county and state parks, hiking trails, bouldering and skate park. A beautiful real river rock fireplace is at the heart of this unique cabin. Large 1/2 acre lot with a badminton court. Downstairs is a game room/theater/bar and large screen TV with surround sound, DVD, X-Box 360 and PS2 game consoles. Another nice feature of this cabin is the real plaster ceiling. Many of the cabins in Idyllwild have the same wood paneling on the ceiling as the walls. This makes for a rather dark room, and a feeling as though one is living in a crate. Some reviewers have mentioned the word "loft" for the upstairs bedroom. To be clear, it is a large finished attic room with it's own door to the stairs. The ceiling, however, is 6 feet high, so us tall ones have to stoop a little! $40 pet fee per booking. We are pretty flexible with check-in and check out times, except when it is booked consecutive days, and for Sunday arrival. Just ask the evening before you arrive.
We are basically a two block walk into town. You will pass the Idyllwild Fire Dept, and the US Forest Service on the way (a very safe place to stay!) See the Guidebook for recommendations on dining and things to do.

Secluded on an acre at the end of Boulder Drive Idyllcreek -A-Frame Vacation Cabin is a short walk to town. A seasonal stream runs through the property. We invite you to share our family's special retreat. This original 1960’s A-frame cabin is every bit as charming and serene as it looks. With 1250 square feet, Idyllcreek sleeps 2-6 people (1 King bed + futon in the upstairs Loft, 1 queen size bed in the upstairs bedroom and 1 inflatable Queen sized Aero bed that can be used downstairs ). Inside the cabin, you’ll love the wood burning fireplace, fun spiral staircase, and wireless internet (because even a rustic getaway should be convenient). Idyllcreek also features 1.5 baths, and has 2 patios so you can enjoy this beautiful wooded backdrop to the fullest. Idyllcreek gets is name from Idyllwild, California, which is just a short walk from the cabin, as well as the seasonal stream that runs on the property. Walk or drive into town and you’ll find that Idyllwild is rich in small-town atmosphere and has something for everyone. Downtown Idyllwild offers excellent dining of all stripes and an assortment of fine shops, boutiques, and galleries—not to mentioning a thriving arts community full of music festivals, art shows, and movie theatre. If your ideal getaway involves unplugging and getting out into the fresh mountain air, just head “up the hill.” There are plenty of opportunities for activities like hiking and camping, rock climbing and mountain biking, all within close distance of Idyllcreek cabin. And vacation is, above all else, time to relax. Idyllcreek isn’t just a charming Idyllwild rental cabin on a picturesque, secluded, woodsy lot—it’s also a good 20-30 degrees cooler than the surrounding valleys during summer! Imagine sipping your morning coffee on the patio before you head out seeking fun activities and events. With daylight fading through the trees, enjoy good conversation, tired from a full day of hiking and browsing an art fair. Then settle into this quiet, peaceful cabin for a full night of deep sleep. With such a great combination of nature’s beauty and peaceful seclusion, plus great outdoor activities and charming small-town discoveries and events, it’s no surprise that Idyllcreek is a favorite of so many, some from California and some from across the country. Idyllwild, California, vacation rentals give families, couples, and friends the chance to get away, relax, and spend some great time together. And Idyllcreek is one of the best. So if you’re ready to head down to the shaded A-frame cabin at the end of Boulder Drive for a day, weekend, or week of peace, Idyllcreek is ready to welcome you.
Idyllwild has a small town atmosphere with shops, restaurants and many places to explore. Idyllcreek is located walking distance to town (although coming home is uphill) in a secluded location at the end of Boulder Drive. No other cabins a visible from the picture windows on the front of the cabin. Lay in the Cal King bed and enjoy the view of nature from the comfort of this unique cabin.
  • Absolutely gorgeous cabin! It feels secluded but you are only minutes from town. Everything was clean and so well organized. Even a cabinet of board games to keep you occupied! Would definitely recommend staying here!

  • An amazing cabin that provided an unforgettable getaway for my wife, son, and I. It was such a nice and stylish place for us to all get away and immerse ourselves in nature. Beautiful location, spacious living area, hot tub, clear skies, bright stars, and just three minutes alway from the town center. I highly recommend this space to anyone who is in need of some good rest and relaxation.

  • Tracy’s place is a little gem! Great decorations through out the cabin and it was clean when we arrived. Very close to the town center and hiking areas. One draw back was that even though it was on a private road the neighbors were very close on each side, wasn’t a terrible issue though! Overall a good experience with the host and the property!

    Carolyn2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Cute little space and perfect for a couple. Bring a duraflame log to keep you warm in the wood-burning stove at night and look for squirrels and birds to visit on the back porch. Tracy was easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend this place!

    Joseph2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is remarkably charming and in the PERFECT location! You could walk to the main part of town if you want but its a short drive to town and the hiking trials. Tracy was a helpful host and the cabin was clean, so well decorated and had everything we needed for a short stay. Great place for your weekend getaway!

    Sophia2020-01-26T00:00:00Z

Our cabin is nestled in the pines and is close to the city center and restaurants. You’ll love our cabin because of the cozy feel, outdoor space, fireplace, jacuzzi, & hip decor. Our cabin is the perfect place for a couples' get-away or retreat with your small family.
The cabin is a mile or less away from restaurants and grocery stores.
  • We had the most wonderful stay at Greg's cabin! Everything about our trip was perfect. The cabin is very cozy and homey, and each room is thoughtfully decorated. We loved spending the weekend in front of the fire and outside in the jacuzzi. Greg has detailed instructions on how to use everything which made everything easy. There are plenty of heaters and blankets to stay warm. We did not want to leave this place! Definitely would come back for another cozy cabin weekend :)

    Carolyn2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Greg’s cabin was perfect for an easy weekend away in the mountains. Although we didn’t get to enjoy the jacuzzi, we loved having a cozy evening by the fire place while it was snowing outside. We hope to be back again soon!

    Morgan2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at this cozy cabin! The jacuzzi was nice and secluded and we loved the natural fireplace. We were just a couple but there is plenty of space to fit a bigger group

  • Their place was beautiful and had a lot of cute details! I definitely recommend staying here. I suggest bringing cooking oil though because it said under amenities that there would be cooking oil, but we couldn’t find any! We had to use oil from cooking our bacon. Other than that, the hot tub was nice and relaxing! It was an amazing getaway for my bf and I. We both really enjoyed our time there! Thanks for everything!!!

    Jacqueline2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay here. The place is cute, close to town and enjoyed the extra touch’s of games and the horse next door that our son loved to look at. I would definitely recommend it.

Cozy Lakeview Lodge is tucked in the trees and only 5 minutes from town! The space is cozy and private with beautiful views. Our property is unique as we have easy access parking, and we’re not surrounded by neighbors. You will feel like you’re in a hidden hideaway. The streets are plowed from highway 243 straight to the cabin during the winter. We have 3 parking spots in front of the cabin. Only 1 might be available during peak snow season!
If you’re looking for a true mountain cabin, look no further. Upon entering you’re immediately greeted with wood paneling from floor to ceiling. The fireplace is grand and surrounded by windows that showcase the beautiful mountain views. The master bedroom is modern with a cabin feel. The bunk bed room is inviting with fun flannel bedding and bright red curtains. Kids will love this room! The large deck is the perfect size for entertaining with plenty of additional seating. The kitchen is fully stocked to make most meals. (Please message me for kitchen supply questions.) The cabin has a SMART TV with Netflix, Hulu, etc. This place is truly loved and our goal is for you to love it even more and book a second stay with us!
We’re located 2 miles from town where you’ll find adorable restaurants, shopping and coffee houses.
  • It's a wonderful little cozy place to stay close to town!

    Kutter2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin was like paradise to us. Tayler has truly thought of everything you might need. It was such a plus that it’s pet friendly! Parking is super easy, I was worried we would be parked either uphill or downhill on some dark unpaved road but there was a nice carport. The cabin was clean, warm, and cozy! We spent most of our time on the deck admiring the views and breathing in nice crisp, clean air. I would like to say this might be our annual anniversary destination!

    Thea2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was cozy with beautiful view of the mountain and surrounded with pine trees. The air was so fresh for you to spend your time on the patio. Location is convenient to downtown and all the hiking trails.

    Phuong2020-03-06T00:00:00Z

    Manny2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • We were SO pleased with this cabin. We have been coming to idyllwild for 10 years now and believe me when I say this is THE place to stay! My family (and of course our doggy!) were so cozy and comfortable here. The cabin was clean, welcoming and had all the comforts of home. Check in and out was a piece of cake and communication with the host was never a problem! I made multiple meals and never ONCE thought “oh. I wish I could find....” everything was exactly where I needed it! The beds were comfortable and the views from the back patio were breathtaking. Parking was simple. It is very easy to end up renting a cabin that is almost impossible to access (because of a steep driveway). But. With the cozy cabin you simply park. Walk down a few steps and POOF - your home!! We are already planning our next trip!!

    Christine2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Tayler's Lakeview cabin was very cute, cozy, and comfortable. 💕The view is BEAUTIFUL!😍 It's so peaceful, you can make some priceless memories here. 💫Communication with Tayler was speedy and helpful. 👍We LOVED spending time in front of the fireplace with the beautiful trees and mountains in the background. 🔥We enjoyed breakfast and dinner out on the deck. 🥞🌭We also we on a hike from a trail about 5 minutes away from the cabin. 🏃🏃‍♀️The Village market has everything you need if you find yourself missing something.🍫 My family and I will definitely remember our 1st time in the mountains together, as well as our 1st Air BnB experience as an amazing one. 👪👭Thanks Tayler!!

  • This is a fantastic cabin in a beautiful location. The backyard and deck will exceed your expectations, and it's wonderful to wake up in the loft upstairs with a beautiful view. We cooked dinners here. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and more. It's perfect for a dog. The fence is secure and there's a dog door. There were even water bowls. We were especially glad to find emergency supplies! Not every host thinks about that. We'll be back.

  • Loved this cabin! Super cute place. Great stay for the weekend-- close to town but very quiet and serene. Great fenced-in yard for the dog as well. The place had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. Thanks!

    Derek2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin is so cozy and architecturally beautiful. We never wanted to leave. Town is super close so you can go out for a bite or stop at the market. We were traveling with our 3-year-old, so we opted to stay in a bit more. We enjoyed watching the sunrise crest the mountain each morning and soaking in the hot tub. This cabin is truly a gem.

    Lydia2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • Great place, would come back, great communication from the owners and easy instructions for anything you might need to know. The fire wood addition is a must for any visitor in the winter... I mean who does not like a nice fire!

  • This was our 2nd time staying at Idyllcove and had a blast. We have a 1 year old so we spent a lot of time staying in, cooking meals and enjoying the wonderful view that this stylish a-frame provides. The jacuzzi was amazing, kitchen had great cookware and they even had a pack and play. Already looking forward to coming back!

Nestled among cedars and oaks in the woods of Pine Cove, let this "Cabin in the Sky" be your mountain retreat. The spacious porch accommodates the trunks of tall pines giving it a treehouse feel. There is a table for dining al fresco, L-shaped outdoor seating and a swing just for gazing at the stars. Wrap yourself in silence; the only sound you will hear is that of foraging woodpeckers and nuthatches, or happy squirrels scurrying about. Celebrate wilderness in this cozy, secluded retreat!
Windows on all sides provide views of trees and distant vistas. while the open design of the living and dining area brings the spacious outdoors inside. Furnished sparingly for clean lines, it is easy to breathe and relax. The porch and backyard are enclosed to keep your little ones in. There is a pellet stove and additional wall units for heating each room. Two bedrooms - queen size and full size beds; one bath; living room with sleeper sofa; well appointed kitchen with dining area; large deck with outdoor eating area and lounge furniture. Superb views.
The neighborhood is a mix of year-round residents and vacation homes, very quiet and friendly. There are hiking and bike trails close by. The last 1000 feet to the cabin is via an unpaved road that a sedan can navigate. The cabin does get snow and may require four-wheel drive capability. In the winter, a local snowplow provides service for a fee.
  • Super clean , isolated , Great place if you love the outdoors , and plenty to do .

    Cynthia2020-03-12T00:00:00Z

  • The Cabin in the Sky was absolutely amazing to stay at. It had an absolute beautiful view from the deck during the day and night. You must spend time to enjoy the views. The inside of the cabin was also really nicely decorated and clean. I cannot recommend this place enough! It was a wonderful getaway from the city. We caught a bit of snow, but there are heaters in each room which kept us warm and cozy. It definitely feels like you are secluded since you are surrounded by trees. It was possible to drive in with a 2WD, but if you can avoid it that would be best. Thank you for everything Mary. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we would love to return again.

    Maria2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is so serene. It’s surrounded by huge pine trees which offers plenty of seclusion. Every amenity you have at your house can be found at Mary’s place. We were so impressed! Wonderful game selection, the wood pellet stove provided lovely warmth and was easy to use and the cabin was very close to the local gas station / market. Great mountain getaway!

    Ashley2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • My wife and I stayed at the Cabin in the Sky for two nights in early February to celebrate her birthday. We found an inviting, warmly-decorated home stocked to the rafters with essentials. The deck is every bit as spectacular as it appears in the photos; the trees growing right through the boards really make you feel as if you're right in the heart of the forest. The neighbors are close enough for comfort, far enough for privacy, and essentially invisible from the house, giving you a feeling of seclusion that is rare in any accommodation. The views of Hemet down below are equally awesome both in day and nighttime. Our visit coincided with a cold snap and temperatures barely rose above freezing, but the central heating was up to the task, and the individual bedroom heaters made the freezing nights comfortable. Owner Mary was responsive, kind, and generous. We had a wonderful and memorable time here, and we are certain to return.

    Ernst-Jan2020-02-05T00:00:00Z
  • This place is a gem. Mary is such a gracious host and quick to help whenever needed. It is so private and tucked away in the trees that you don’t even see any neighbors. Me and my boyfriend and our pet wolf celebrated my birthday here this past weekend and it was so lovely and relaxing. I think we actually spent the whole time in total silence. (no internet, tv or music. We of course spoke amongst ourselves.) The deck needs to be mentioned because it is awesome with large pine trees growing right up through the floor. The view is breathtaking. Looking out to mountains and a thick forest of trees. The fenced in side yard was great for the dog who laid out there on a rock watching squirrels for hours. Town is a quick drive and there is tons of hiking nearby. I highly recommend staying here. We will be back!!! Thank you Mary!

  • Would stay here again! The cabin had everything to make our stay 100% comfortable including a fun place across street with live music & great food! We enjoyed ourselves so much we stayed another night!!

  • We had a wonderful stay at Kelly’s place! It was very clean and thoughtfully put together. The hot tub and grill were clean and easy to use as well. It is also walking distance to town which was convenient. You should note that it is very close to the main road so it doesn’t feel extremely private out on the deck. But we had a great getaway and loved that we could bring our dog with us as well. Would definitely recommend staying here.

    Neale2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is a must! There were just the two of us but 6 people could have slept here VERY comfortably. Everything you would want in a mountain retreat with the comforts of home.

    Amy2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • We celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary at this cabin, and it was exactly what we had hoped for when looking for a mountain cabin in Idyllwild. When we checked in on a cold February afternoon, the cabin was warm and inviting. The kitchen is well equipped. The cabin is well maintained. The master bed is cozy and comfortable. An abundance of warm water in the shower made relaxing after a long day delightful. We did not use the hot tub though it also looked inviting. Full size washer and dryer available but we did not use. The town is a short walk away, and loaded with fun shopping and great restaurants. Hiking areas are abundant. Park ranger super helpful pointing out trails and must see spots. Unfortunately Nature Center was closed but understand it is a must see. Not sure we will have the opportunity but would definitely go back.

  • Our stay at Idyllcottage was perfect and relaxing! The location is great for walking in and out of town, and Kelly and Erin are great hosts. We look forward to returning to Idyllwild annually, and their properties are the best. Thank you!

  • Wonderful cabin! Definitely would come back for another stay.

  • So lovely! Thank you

    Sam2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • The Idyllcottage is a charming, cozy cabin and was on point for my intentions for an alpine reset. This cabin packs much into a small footprint. It has great rustic character without the fuss of the designer pads, and all you need to sink-in and totally unplug. The place is charming and has an authenticity that only amplifies Idyllwild's woodsy vibe. I loved this cabin so much I couldn't leave and stayed an extra day. Just couldn't pull my self away. Instead of heading back to the gnarly city, I stayed, hiked, baked, hot tubbed and firesided with Glenn Miller and a great book instead. Then hot-tubbed again. Sweet dreams too.

  • Thank you so much for an incredible weekend at your cabin! Your place was so clean and well decorated. The fireplace was the best after a hike and day in town. Great experience in every way.

  • Zack is a nice host! We got some trouble to live there, but he fixed and answered our questions “really fast”!! And all Problems are solved! So quiet and pretty close to the town. Wifi good, kitchen good. Really warm!!

  • I so enjoyed my stay this last week. It’s the first cabin I’ve stayed at in the area that retains the woodsy getaway vibe and balances it with stylish, not overdone furnishings. AND THAT SKYLIGHT IN THE BEDROOM. Thank you, Zack. You’re an outstanding host. Bookmarking the cabin for future stays.

    Shera2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Zack's cabin is great - it has everything you need for a quiet get away. The pictures accurately illustrate the cabin and it was very comfortable and just a few feet away from amazing views.

This cute cabin has been beautifully restored and includes all the conveniences of home. It has been described as sweet and cozy. This is the perfect romantic getaway or fun for a small family.
This is in a residential area which include some full time residents nearby.
  • Beautiful cabin! Great for a couple or family of 4. The couch pulls out and fits 2 people. We loved bringing our dog with us and enjoying the huge, fenced yard.

  • Teresa’s cabin is amazing! It was sparkling clean and had everything we needed. Very cute and cozy. We will definitely be back.

  • We are glad we get to stay at Teresa’s place, it’s a really cozy to place to stay, and we are so happy there’s WiFi in the house, since the entire Palomar Mountain is pretty much out of service. We have decided to rent last minute and requested to change the date, and Teresa was super accommodating to our request, which I truly appreciate. Definitely would love to go back and rent the place again! :)

    Xiaolan2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • Best getaway trip ever! Everything was perfect during our stay. Teresa’s place was the perfect amount of cozy and relaxing. I’d love to come back!

    Alexandra2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Teresa’s place was so wonderful and cozy. It was a perfect long-weekend stay for us, watching the Super Bowl, grilling some steaks, and a nice warm drink. The cabin has everything you need. From the kitchen, to bedroom and bathroom(extra towels A+). We had a few questions during our stay and Teresa responded promptly. We really look forward to staying at Teresa’s place again!

    Lucy2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great little mountain get-away. The space is airy, with new construction, and is a great size for a single traveler or a couple. The kitchen was much better equipped, in terms of both cookware / utensils and spices, than most of the Airbnb or VRBO places in which we've stayed. The location is great if you want to be up in the mountains, with good hiking and the world-famous Palomar Observatory just down the road. The host is very responsive to questions. We would definitely come back again.

    Chris2020-01-25T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin was exceptional! Such adorable features inside and a beautiful yard and deck outside! The cabin is exactly as pictured if not more cute! Can't wait to come back!!!

    Sarah2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • We loved it here. The cabin is easily accessible, spacious, nicely decorated and had amenities we didn’t know we needed (spices and sauces, board games, plenty of extra blankets). It was super comfortable even for two couples to share. Teresa was helpful and welcoming. We were so sad to leave, and we’re keeping this place in mind for future trips. Couldn’t be happier!

COVID-19 update: We have worked with our housecleaners to make sure extensive disinfecting is done after each stay. Discounted prices may be available for longer stays of a week or more, please inquire. The Fiddlers cabin is open and spacious yet comfortable and cozy. Tucked into a quiet neighborhood in the woods. Originally built in 1909 but recently updated. Has two bedrooms with two queen beds and bunk beds. Great for families and your dog is welcome with an additional cleaning fee.
The Fiddler's Cabin is nestled among Bigcone Douglas firs, incense cedars, and black oak trees. Sit on the front porch and enjoy the peaceful quietude. Slow down from the bustle of everyday life and bbq on the deck. Listen to birds sing while relaxing in a classic screened-in patio. Snuggle up in front of the wood burning stove. Enjoy family dinners at the dining table. This cabin was built in 1909 and has been recently restored. It feels open and spacious while still intimate and cozy. Vaulted ceilings in the living room and master bedroom. Original farmhouse sink and range in the kitchen. Clawfoot tub as well as a standing shower in the bathroom. Hall walls and interior doors have been handmade and reclaimed from original exterior siding. The kitchen is stocked with items for your convenience, including pots, pans, toaster, coffee pot, and microwave. Palomar Mountain has many hiking trails, state park, and observatory within driving distance of the cabin. A county park is within walking distance which is great for picnics and exploring. You may find yourself wondering if you've left Southern California and traveled all the way to the Sierras.
While neighbors are close by, it is a quiet neighborhood. When you sit on the front deck you can look out at the trees and feel like you are isolated in the woods.
  • This cabin is beautiful inside and out. I went with my family and we all had a great time, it even started to snow and it was amazing. We highly recommended staying here! It’s peaceful and calm.

  • This cabin was exactly as expected. It was really a peaceful reprieve from the daily stresses, and I look forward to coming again. The hosts were totally on top of communication, and it was clear exactly what to expect. Great place!

  • What an extraordinary cabin! We were surrounded by thoughtful touches and considerate accommodations :) But, what is lasting is the memorable experiences we gained at Fiddlers Cabin. We are planning on visiting again next year. Also, the location is convenient. Close to a general store and restaurant that serves a delicious posole! The trails are close by too. We enjoyed our stay, and we trust you will to.

  • The cabin is every bit as cute as it looks and very comfortable. The location is great and easy to find. The nearby state park has some wonderful day hikes. Although we read the news while we were there, it seemed like the world was much further away. We would love to stay at Fiddler’s Cabin again.

We are in the midst of gorgeous rural native plants and nature away from urban life here. We are a community of truth seekers learning and growing in the mirror of relationship and intelligent questioning of everything; and love, we believe, is the only light in this spiritual journey.
The 1940's rustic cabin house has four bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms. We have noble silence at 10:00 PM. What is offered is a private bedroom with two twin beds and a shared bathroom.
You can walk around the labyrinth or the Native Plant trail that goes around the property. There are also many boulders to climb on and sit on. We are located close by to historic Julian, CA famous for pies, wine, hiking and star gazing.

Los Coyotes Cabin is a two bed, two bath lean-to Scandinavian style cabin located in the quaint, serene, and beautiful mountain town of Idyllwild. Sitting on a half acre of wooded and secluded land, Los Coyotes Cabin is ideal for those who want to "head up the hill" to unplug, relax, and find peace in the forest. Well behaved, potty trained four legged friends are welcome! The backyard is fully enclosed with a 3 foot fence. See more pictures on Instagram: @loscoyotescabin
Our very special retreat is on cul-de-sac that spills into the National Forest. Enjoy mountain biking and hiking trails just steps from our front door! One of the most beautiful sunsets on the mountain can be seen from the beginning of the trail. This original 1960's cabin is the perfect base camp for nappers and adventurers alike. At 1,200 square feet, Los Coyotes Cabin is suitable for up to 4 guests. The main floor of the cabin features a living room with a leather sofa, wood burning fireplace stove, and a 55" Roku TV that is ready to stream all of your Netflix faves (Netflix / Hulu subscription included). French doors off of the living room open directly out to our expansive deck that seems to be everyone's favorite hangout spot. Decked out with a BBQ, dining table, Adirondack chairs, a cone fireplace, and views for days, this is where everyone likes to finish their day while watching the sun disappear between the pines. Also on the main floor, Los Coyotes Cabin has a bathroom featuring a bathtub and large windows with views of the pines for those who want to "soak in" nature. Our kitchen is connected to the living room and is fully stocked and ready for you to make those photo worthy mountain meals. We love spaces that people can gather to enjoy meals, play board games or share stories and our quaint dining room off of the kitchen is just that. It also features a custom mountain view stained glass window and french doors that lead to the deck. Head upstairs and snooze away in the master bedroom with a European king sized bed and 50" Roku TV. Views of the pines and manzanitas that fill the grounds can be seen from the large west facing window. Warm sun fills the room in the afternoon, making it the perfect place for those post hike naps. The upstairs bathroom with a tub and shower can be directly accessed from this bathroom as well as the upstairs hallway. The guest bedroom features knotty pine walls, a small reading nook, and a fort-like feel. With a full size bed and a Roku TV, this bedroom is the perfect cozy space to rest up before the next day's adventures. East facing windows with wood shutters welcome in the morning light. Los Coyotes Cabin is a space we've always dreamed about sharing. We've visited so many inspiring places that have sparked our need for adventure and love of nature, we hope Los Coyotes Cabin can do the same for you!
Drive 6 minutes into downtown Idyllwild for a meal, a movie, the farmer's market or to check out an art exhibition. Head to Lake Fulmor just down the hill (5 minutes) to fish, kayak, or read a book on a bench by the water. Or just relax by the fire in the cabin... we wouldn't blame you!
  • Los coyotes cabin was amazing! We had a wonderful time. The place was sparkling clean. We were welcome to bring our dog. The yard was fenced. The cabin is beautiful. They have toms of games. They also had really great quality shampoo and soap. The beds were great too. Not soft and the bedroom is really dark if you close the blinds. Perfect to relax!!! The kitchen had everything we need. We cooked all the time. They also have a bbq. The deck is cool. It is very close to the city. It is a nice hike by the end of the street. The house was very warm at night. The shower was amazing. The cabin is also well decorated and has this amazing feeling. We totally recommend this place. We will be back soon!

  • Tommy & Mallary’s home is the perfect woodsy getaway. Amazing trails just minutes from the house. House was spotless with all the amenities you could ask for. Huge deck with outdoor fire pit and string lights make it an ideal spot for anyone looking to enjoy being surrounded by pines while you sip morning coffee of an evening glass of wine! Highly recommend!

    Brett2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • My brother and I were looking for a spot to meet up for a few days and this was a great choice. (Two hours from LA where I live, two hours from San Diego where he lives.) By day, it's just minutes from a number of beautiful hikes (wish we could have explored town -- another time I hope). At night, we had planned to go out for dinner but the kitchen was so well stocked and the fireplace such a nice draw, we didn't want to leave. Tommy and Mallary were accommodating, letting us grab a park pass a little before our check in, and also accessible, there was an issue with a smoke alarm beeping when we arrived, and we were able to solve it quickly. I would definitely recommend their place to others. Thanks!

    Jamie2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Very lovely cabin. Our puppy had the best time there and loved the big year they have. Tommy and Mallary are very helpful and responsive. We will love to visit again sometime!

    Tina2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome spot, better than the pictures showcase. Outdoor lights on the patio, outdoor grill worked great, record player, all the supplies to start a fire easily, rooms were clean and beds were really comfy. Highly recommend, this is the best place in the area.

    Ryan2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Loved our stay in Tommy and Mallary's cabin. The perfect spot for a spell in the mountains. Great hosts. Recommend it to anyone.

    Nick2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • It's as cozy as it looks! Tommy & Mallary were so kind and replied quickly to our last minute request. The cabin was super clean and the beds comfortable. The yard is a great size and our fury four legged family member enjoyed exploring every corner of it. We had planned to go out and explore the town but we enjoyed the cabin so much we ended up just lighting a fire and staying in. We had such a great time at Los Coyotes that our boys have already asked we return.

  • My brother and I stayed at raccoon house/lodge and loved everything about the space. The views, the ambience and location was so unique. Immersed in nature we felt like we were transported back in time. We would definitely return to this beautiful place. The hot tub was definitely a huge benefit after a good long hike! Thank you for sharing your space.

  • This place is a hidden gem. The views are breathtaking and the cabin is clean and lovely. Of course sitting in the jacuzzi during a picturesque snowfall is also pretty tough to beat. Made a great memory with the family, and can't wait to come back to Racoon Rock!!

  • David's place is a true gem. A cozy getaway perfect for couples or a small group of friends. Will definitely come back.

    Rose2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • My fiancé and I had a wonderful time at David's Raccoon ridge cabin. The deck is very nice. Views from the living room, dining nook, deck and hot tub were very nice. Neighborhood was very quiet. I think we saw less than 5 cars drive by time we were there. The house is quite high above the road below and the road behind is a dead end dirt road that is only used by the houses up there so David's place is secluded except for the next door neighbors. I would visit again and I would highly recommend this cabin.

    Noah2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the house so much we didn’t leave the entire stay. Everything we needed was in the cabin (was fully stocked) and we really enjoyed the kitchen, making every meal at the cabin! The hot tub was great, just wish it was a little more private and not up against a mountain where animals or people could walk on by at ground level. The house was sparkling clean upon arrival, and the tv had a great picture and sound! Be advised the driveway is steep and lots of stairs to the entrance of the house. I’m glad we went at the time we did with no snow.. Overall I would recommend the house to a friend and possibly stay again in the future. Also the host David was very quick responding with any questions we had, check in -and -out was a dream!

    Adrienne2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is so cozy! Perfect for a family of 4. The decor was just right, (obviously someone with a good eye) and the extra touches like bathrobes, sweaters, crocheted blankets and local coffee were very thoughtful. Kitchen was well stocked and we even baked cookies! From the outside this cabin looks pretty simple compared to the beautiful old log cabins in the neighborhood but once you open the door it’s instantly charming, and inviting. The deck is perfect for reading and staring out at the view and the hot tub is a game changer! We love the neighborhood too! Highly recommend this place for a chill mountain weekend.

Come get away in our lovely mountain modern cabin in Idyllwild. Our newly remodeled cabin is the perfect place to relax, disconnect, recharge and enjoy the beautiful outdoors. Perfect for a couple’s getaway! During the day, hikes, walks and town center are close by, and at night, our cozy cabin gives you a great look at the stars. We invite you to enjoy our spectacular cabin and enjoy the charming town of Idyllwild.
This is the Red Door unit of our Retreat House. The Red Door is in the same structure as our other unit (Little Yellow Door) however, there are no shared spaces besides the walkways and parking areas. The Red Door unit is above the Yellow Door Unit. Provided is a queen sized bed and a single sofa bed. Our retreat house has a full functioning kitchen and a bathroom with a shower. Parking is available and close to the cabin. No dishwasher or laundry machines available.
There are other cabins that we own on this property! Because all the cabins are on the same property, all the cabins fall under the same address. Please look for your cabin with the specific Red Door. There is also a sign above the doors that have the name of the cabins, and this listing is Retreat House. However, each cabin is separate and has space between each other. They are secluded and have no shared spaces.
  • The red door is a comfy one bedroom, one bath cabin. Might get claustrophobic after a few nights as it is tight, but overall it served its purpose in a very beautiful setting. The decor was charming, and the giant bell was awesome. Bed was comfortable, plenty of hot water, a small but cozy living room, full bath, and fully operational kitchen. You could actually argue the kitchen is a little overkill for the size of the space, but if you like to cook, there’s a full size range. We didn’t cook here so we can’t comment on the supplies in here specifically, but hopefully the owner will add a full list of those soon. There’s built in heater in the living room, but only a space heater in the bed room, which made the February nights a little chilly. The bathroom could use some improvements, at least in terms of amenities - no hand towels, no wash cloths, no hair dryer, no curtains, and a toilet that was apparently incapable of handling toilet paper (though moderation appeared to be answer here). No cell service and wifi that was spotty at best, but we knew that going in. One heads up if you’re staying here next: There are barely any three prong outlets, so bring some of those 3>2 ground adapters. And an extension cord if you like powering anything bedside. Overall a good experience - would def stay here again.

  • Emma's place was a perfect quick getaway for my boyfriend and I. We only live an hour away and it was so nice to be away from the desert and explore the snow! The cabin was a great size for us and being able to take my dog made it extra special and what helped in choosing her place.

    Juliana2020-01-09T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I stayed here with our dog on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The weather was perfect with the snow and we had so much fun playing in the surrounding forest area by the cabin. The cabin is cozy and quaint with cute vintage decor. We had everything we needed. Our favorite part was sitting at the table by the window and drinking coffee/eating breakfast while the snow fell. WiFi connection was in and out but that’s ok it wasn’t really needed. The closeness to town was great. The bed could be a bit more comfortable but that might just be our personal preference. We look forward to coming back another time! Thanks Emma!

    Ashley2019-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • Very charming one bedroom cottage. If you stay during the winter months, start warming the place up first thing before night falls. Close enough to town if you need any amenities, but far enough away to feel peace and quiet of the trees around you. Clean, new kitchen range and microwave made it very easy to cook and warm up my meals. Internet is available, it's not lightening fast, while streaming a movie there were a couple pauses, but that's not a downer, just sharing in case you need super fast speeds for working. The pillow-top bed was wonderfully comfortable and the pillows were both firm and soft. Love when there are good pillow options!

    Mary Q2019-12-21T00:00:00Z
  • I’m recommending this place to everyone. It’s small, but not cramped. A cozy place to sit by the window and eat, sit in the little couch nook and read, or hang on the patio and enjoy the quiet. My pups loved sunbathing on the deck, playing fetch in the driveway and hiking in the surrounding hills. Clean, quiet and comfy red door is the ideal home away from home.

  • Beautiful cabin— perfect for two plus a small dog— in a quiet spot off the main road. The cabin has simple, tasteful decor, a great little kitchen, a nice main room that heats up nicely and a spacious bathroom and bedroom. Very cozy and pleasant for a weekend getaway!

Between '33 -'38, a 13 mile tunnel was chiseled into the hard rock of our mountain, bringing Colorado River water to the West. When the San Jacinto Tunnel was finished, original railroad ties were scavenged, brought to Idyllwild, and used to construct this epic historic cabin full of rustic charm. Giant river rock fireplace, original live edge cedar cabinetry, wood floors, private deck & Shasta Trailer extra bedroom. Details include Pendleton Blankets, Down Comforters, Malin Goetz, etc.
Freestanding Cabin on a private 1/2 acre, less than 5 minute walk from downtown. Cabin has a sleeping loft upstairs with both a Queen and Twin Bed, Cedar ceiling and walls, living room and kitchen downstairs, TV with full HBO movie package, private parking/ driveway, private patio w BBQ, several outdoor seating areas, Vintage Shasta Trailor outside for extra guests. While sanding out the original fir floors, we found an LA Times from March 28, 1942 glued to the boards under old linoleum, letting us know when this cabin was finished. Allow this magical cabin to bring you back to a slower, simpler time as you commune with nature in our beautiful mountain town! We are Dog Friendly! $25.00 extra charge for your pet. :-)

  • Cute little cabin in a prime location! The decor made it so cozy and really made the experience of staying out in the forest so much better! The cabin is a block or two away from the best Mexican in Idyllwild and the town was not far of a walk either. A very cute and cozy place to stay. The only thing I’d advice is that if you have small children or pets the stair case might be a safety concern. It’s a spiral step staircase with railings that had big gaps, my Australian Shepherd was nervous to go up and down and I can imagine children can easily fall. Overall a very nice place, I’d stay here again when visiting Idyllwild!

  • Nice rustic cabin. Short walk to everything in town.

    Aaron2020-01-07T00:00:00Z
  • So cozy and cute! Feels like home away from home :) Private but a nice little walk to town, and there’s a little get together spot in the middle of all the properties with chairs and a little bridge! Check in was a bit tricky, but we figured it out. Wonderful stay

  • The most adorable place! Centrally located - near the heart of town - and the owners are the sweetest and most helpful. Will definitely book again!

  • The cabin at The Fireside was absolutely lovely! The interior and styling was so charming. Loved the vintage trailer out front even though we didn’t need to use it during this stay. The malin + goetz products were a nice touch as well. The place felt equal parts vintage campy, cozy rustic cabin, and modern romantic sophisticated. Totally recommend and will return!

I PAY YOUR EXTRA FEES! I PAY YOUR OCCUPANCY TAX (HOTEL TAX) that gets sent to Riverside County so you don't have to pay extra. I don't charge extra fees for your dogs like most rentals do :-) I include convenience items so your home away from home is fully stocked. My homes are PROFESSIONALLY DEEP CLEANED EVERY STAY. I love to pamper & spoil my guests & give a 5 star hospitality to all. Please read my reviews, my guests say it all! I have three vacation rentals to meet you needs. Welcome home!
***MY HOMES ARE PROFESSIONALLY DEEP CLEANED every stay by my amazing cleaning crew. I pay them a living wage and tip them out of pocket often to save you more fees. Two dogs max (or ask if more). 5 guests maximum. This cabin is an AIR CONDITIONED large studio - PLUS... meaning there is a queen bed in the main room, a full size kitchen (not a kitchenette), and 3/4 bath (shower no tub). Also within the home is a space with a futon couch that converts to a twin (with a wall and closing curtain to separate the rooms). This charming, bright and sunny little home is fully remodeled and designed by me, Melissa, a long time Idyllwild resident/artist/teacher. It is upscale, very clean and well stocked. This cozy little place has a post modern-industrial feel. The wood burning stove gives off the feeling of warmth and romance. There is a great side yard with lots of sun, a barbecue, and dining table or you can step into the wooded backyard for a totally different experience to relax and enjoy being completely surrounded by nature. The home works well for one to two people, two couples or a small family (including the family dog!). The yard is not fenced. For a fully fenced property see my little house listing, airbnb.com/rooms/11770906.
No parties please, but having some friends over to barbecue is fine. This neighborhood is very quiet and has some full time owners who would not appreciate the noise. Please observe extra quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am

Beautifully restored A frame on mountaintop with room for the entire family. Listen, smell, see and feel nature at its finest while nestled in a forest of tall Cedars and Firs with a fern meadow view.
This A frame has been beautifully restored and includes all the conveniences of home. Lots of space, but cozy too. This is the perfect romantic getaway or fun for an entire family. You can get together with another couple or two and really have an economical vacation.
Palomar Mountain State Park is a short drive away. You will find hiking trails and fishing at Doane Pond. You will need a fishing license. You can also take a short drive and take a tour of the World famous Palomar Observatory. This cabin is nestled in the trees on a one acre property which includes a fern meadow. If driving somewhere is not your thing, there are lots of places to take walks right around the cabin. Once you see all the cute rustic cabins around, you might want to buy one of your own!
  • The Spotted Owl Chalet Cabin is so warm and cozy! The hosts are AMAZING and very communicative! The cabin has everything you would need in a home (blankets, towels, washer, dryer, pots, pans, all the kitchen appliances you might need, cups, plates, board/card games, etc.)! It was nice to know they provide wood for the fireplace too! It truly is a great home away from home! So grateful I spotted this amazing cabin! We’ve stayed in the winter when there was a lot of snow and have also stayed when there was no snow! Beautiful cabin for any season! We definitely look forward to staying at the cabin again soon!
