“The Harbour View Hotel used to sit where the Harbour Bridge now sits. Locals were asked to vacate their homes when the bridge was being built, and were most upset when their local pub had to get demolished. It moved 50m over and maintained its name. Even though the Harbour View Hotel doesn’t have a view of the harbour anymore, it has a glorious and unique view of the Harbour Bridge.”

“THE place to get a panoramic view of the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House, but if and only if there are no towering cruise ships blocking the view. You don’t have to patronise the cafe to enjoy the view. The food here is okay and reasonably priced. ”
