““Silom is one of the city's most important financial districts with many financial institutions, shopping malls and great restaurants in the area too , then there's the famous nightlife scene of Patpong. Bangkok's two most sophisticated mass transportation systems - the Skytrain (BTS) and underground - both have Silom connections, which are also conveniently connected by the walkway between MRT Silom and BTS Sala Daeng stations. Siam, Chidlom, Ploenchit, Sathorn, and the riverside are only a few BTS stations away.””

“Lumphini Park is a 360 rai (57.6-hectare (142-acre)) park in Bangkok, Thailand. The park offers rare open public space, trees, and playgrounds in the Thai capital and contains an artificial lake where visitors can rent boats. Paths around the park totalling approximately 2.5 km in length are a popular area for evening joggers. Officially, cycling is only permitted during the day between the times of 10:00 to 15:00. There is a smoking ban throughout the park. Dogs are not allowed.”

Restaurant
“ This place is full of locals (only) typical office workers unwinding after work. It is a pub, karaoke, and Thai restaurant. The atmosphere is electric, live band playing English songs. Local beers on the tap, plus make your own appetizers (free). The restaurant serves local thai dishes (only) and that taste is fantastic. Service is very fast and with very big serving sizes. Food taste very authentic (not the typically tourist type). We hardly saw any foreigners as most of the clientele was local. Must visit if you are in Sathorn area.”
