Small foot to earth nice ... A family place full of beautifully decorated and practical history. Near the sea and especially Obibos the city that should not be missed in Portugal. Home in the rules of art by José owner and manufacturer of ginja. Step rather cute concerning us good value for money.

AMAZING! Such a nice place, so much history and so much details. We absolutely loved it, especially the play/meditation room in the top. Great views too Jose is very helpful and super friendly. A tip, navigation sends you to other location, go downwards and at the crossing take a left, drive 400m and you'll see it on your left.

Very warm welcome from our host, what a pleasure to stay in this mill so well restored! The housing also has a small terrace where it is very nice dinner ... The place is quiet 30 minutes from Obidos and Nazare 40 minutes. There are shops 4km. In short a place to recommend for a small step in the peace!

Staying in the mill was a nice, new and exciting experience. We had a great time there and were able to retreat to rest and relax. Solely the drive was a little complicated, because the address was not quite right and we only had to call with José to find accommodation. Overall Jose gave us a very friendly and we would definitely recommend the mill.

This villa was truly a special find, it offered more than is shown in the photos; it is so secluded that you feel on a retreat, although you are equally well located to reach the beach by car in 10 mins, there is a corner shop a short walk away with all the provisions you may require. The locals were friendly, helpful and there if you needed assistance. In our party was two mums and three boys aged 14-16 years, we stayed for 10 days and throughly enjoyed exploring the house and adjacent land, the pool / games room was a great wind down before bed time. An unexpected find was the perfectly kept football pitch with full size nets, this was a great alternative to time in the swimming pool - which although it was colder than hoped it did not hinder our enjoyment. In addition to the house; our best surprise was the house dog, he had a pen outside but we loved playing with him and feeding him bits from our home cooked dinners, he even loved the apples we took out to the goats, sheep and donkey!! We would definitely return again, thank you for being such wonderful hosts.

Sandra & Maurice gave us a very warm welcome. When we arrive Maurice was already at the house and explain everything we need to know. The house is beautiful and it has everything you need for a perfect vacation. Especially for little children (we have a 2 year old) this house is perfect. The animals, toys, luxury (bubbelbath inside/ outside swimmingpool) and the fully equipped outside kitchen, didn't gave us a sad feeling that we were not able to see a lot of Portugal. You can stay easily a week in this house without getting bored. Thanks Sandra & Maurice for a lovely week. This house is highly recommended!

We had a really nice vacation. The house is big. Enough space. The terrace is perfect to hang out and go for a big barbecue. You can reach many activities in short time. For example Obidos or Nazare. Paulo is very friendly and helpfull. He always replies fast. He takes care and that is very important to have a good feeling all over holiday.

We enjoyed the house very much. It´s comfortable and got enough space for 5. It´s very very quiet there, perfect to relax or have a BBQ in the garden. Though there´s nothing much to do in the village - you need a car to explore the surroundings or go to the beach. Our favourites: Salir do Porto and Foz do Arelho.

The house is as appealing as shown in the pictures. It is in a rural area, what we liked very much. It took us about 15 minutes by car to the beaches, as well to the next town (Caldas da Rainha). The house is someway in the middle for destinations like Obidos, Alcobaca and Peniche (Berlengas). Most important for us: It was quite. Paulo was a nice and caring host who checked everything prior to our arrival, not to forget the bottle of wine. Then we just got the key and had the entire house for us alone, which was perfect.
