“Over The Falls has one of the largest menus I've ever seen! What started out as a small sandwich shop, grew into a gorgeous full service restaurant with something for everyone. They have great local brews on tap, as well as some lovely wines and a full bar. Trust me - you'll be glad you went. ”

“Walk along White Street and checkout all the art shops and cafes. The Cotton Company is a great shop for finding hostess gifts and one of a kind trinkets.”

“Downtown Wake Forest has embraced the "Beer State" culture and has its own brewery. Right in the heart of things on White Street, they have a rotating selection of beer (and some wine for the non-beer drinkers). There's trivia on Wednesday nights, and TVs for watching any sporting events. While there's no food served at the brewery itself, they allow you to order in food from the local establishments and there's often a food truck outside. ”

“A Wake Forest icon for 100+ years. Greasy spoon that serves “them red hotdogs.” Pool hall in the back. My grandmother Mildred wouldn't let me go here as a kid due to the gambling and “filthy lucre.””
