This is my cozy little cottage in the woods! I love nature and wanted to share this space with anyone wanting to come experience the beautiful lakes or National Park. Located in Christopher Lake village, you are walking distance to shops, restaurant, and ice cream stand. 1 km around the corner is Bells beach, 8km to Sunnyside (more beaches, ice cream, mini golf, bar, etc) , and half hour drive gets you to Anglin Lake, Waskesui (National Park), and more!
Update on COVID-19: we currently increased our minimum night stay to reduce amounts of people in & out of cabin this season. We have also changed our cancellation policy to flexible - you can cancel 24 hours before check in and get full refund. Please if you have any symptoms cancel your trip. Cleaning practices now include increased sanitizing and a 72 hr window between guests stays, whenever possible. ThiS is an older cottage that is used with love, but also needs some TLC. Please respect its uniqueness and bare with me as I continue to update and renovate as I get a chance! Part of its charm is its unique weathered look! If you are looking for a hotel-style, modern, perfected space - this may not be for you! If you’re looking for a more cozy, unique & eclectic cottage with its own little quirks ( like walking through the furnace room to get to the bathroom) - than this is perfect for you! I love this cabin, and consider this listing as a home share, where those who stay here can be considered friends who are using the cabin when I’m not there. It’s a great location that offers so much, I wanted to share it with other like-minded people. It might not be the Hilton, but it’ll get the job done and provide you with a spacious place to stay while enjoying all the nature and things to do (while not breaking the bank)! So welcome, and enjoy the space and the wonderful lakes and parks surrounding it!
This is lake country. Have fun, be safe, relax, unwind, or find an adventure! Fabulous food, beaches, hiking, zip-lining, and more await you!
  • This is a great space to stay! Clean with all the amenities, close to Waskesui and lots to do! Nice little touches help you feel welcomed and right at home!

  • Virginia’s cottage is the ideal retreat from everyday life. It’s perfectly located within a half hour of lakes, trails and beaches. She also provided us with a pass for the Prince Albert National Park! The cottage itself is incredibly homey. You can see the extra effort she puts into the place to make it feel so. She goes the extra mile to provide necessities like toiletries and beddings. It really made our trip a million times better. On our first night at the place, we had a bit of a hiccup and Virginia was unbelievably comforting. She was patient and understanding with us and it meant the world to us. She allowed us to fix some minor damages our dog did while we continued to stay there for the week. She really helped make our stay perfect and I can’t say enough kind words about her.

  • I could easily sum this AirBNB up by simply saying “BEST AIRBNB EVER!!” However Virginia, the hostess, deserves a Review with a lot more effort than just that.   I have stayed at 5 AirBNB’s this summer (I wanted to give the kids a summer to remember, so I splurged)! However, this AirBNB put ALL the others to shame!  Not only is the price right – btw thank-you so much Virginia for making this an affordable trip for us, you are an angel – but the cottage itself was cute, cozy, comfortable…it felt like a home.  She put a lot of care and attention to detail into this cottage.  She WANTS you to feel super comfortable at her cottage, and she goes out of her way to ensure that you will be!  She even left a Provincial Park Pass, for us to go to Waskesui for the weekend of the Music Festival, which she kindly told us about.  If it wasn’t for her, we wouldn’t have had as much fun as we did. She also leaves a pile of recommendations; describing the many activities, trails and many other things to do while at Christopher Lake.  Helpful indeed!  There was a huge Apple TV to watch, which the kids loved – including WIFI!  Can’t go without Wifi, at least not with 2 teenagers! Virginia makes sure that you don’t have too 😀 The beds were comfortable; along w/high quality sheets, blankets, towels….everything is to the highest standards in this cottage!  Even the Cookware is Lagostina – and trust me it helps!  Staying at different AirBNB’s ALL summer, I can tell you the little things that you don’t think of that really make a big difference in your stay.  Cookware is one of them!  She had the Mini-Fridge FILLED with cans of Pop – in our family that was a dream!  Lol. She also has “big kid” drinks; she emphasizes that you may help yourself to whatever you find, so that being said, I helped myself to a glass ;)   As well, you will find all those toiletries that we always seem to forget to bring!  She has literally thought of everything! There was a rare problem w/ the water pressure tank mid-stay; her and Joel attended to the issue immediately.  In the meantime, they put us up in a nice little motel in Waskesui! She told me to find whatever I could (it was last minute, during the Waskesui Music Festival – there wasn’t much and it definitely wasn’t cheap, but she insisted we stay somewhere so that we could have access to showers, running toilets, etc.)  That alone showed a lot of character from this amazing couple! This really meant a lot to me – they covered the entire bill!   In a way I was almost hesitant to give such a (deserving) positive review…but only because I want to have this little gem all to myself! Lol.  My own little piece of Heaven, run by the sweetest people you will ever meet.  I cannot say enough good things about this AirBNB and the people that run it.  You will undoubtedly be disappointed by other AirBNB’s after you’ve stayed here.  Noone puts in the heart and effort that Virginia and Joel put into theirs. I can’t wait to stay here again!  What a treat it was – you really helped to make this the best summer (and AirBNB of course) that we’ve ever experienced!  We were completely WOWED from the minute we walked in to the cottage – and all the little (and BIG!) extra’s you left and included was over and above kind and generous.  I wish there were more people in this world like you! THANK YOU Virginia and Joel 💓

  • We were attending a wedding at Christopher lake over the weekend and stayed at Virginia’s cabin while we were there. Our stay was lovely and we especially appreciated the little touches that made our stay that much more comfortable. The place was very clean and had everything we needed to have an enjoyable weekend.

  • Had a lovely stay at Virginia's cabin. I was most impressed by all the little things Virginia did to make our stay comfortable; laundry bins with a clear plastic bag, snacks purchased just for us, fluffy towels and fresh smelling linen, even leaving the lights on for an easy arrival. The cabin was clean and well stocked and the beds were so comfy. I really appreciated the PA national park pass too. Virginia was a great communicator, fast to respond and shared lots of info about the cabin and surrounding area prior to our stay. Would definitely stay here again!

  • Virginia & Joel are such amazing hosts. They made their best efforts to make our trip memorable. We really enjoyed our trip and we are looking forward of coming back soon.

    Parinam2019-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • Virginia was excellent as a host. From showing concern that the grass would be cut prior to us arriving so we wouldn't be bothered, making us aware of the water truck coming to fill the well, the little things that were at our disposal was very much appreciated. In all Virgiinia wanted us to enjoy our stay, in which we did and would definately recommend her place for those who need a getaway for a few days.

Two bedroom 'cozy' cabin in Fisher Creek subdivision at Candle Lake. The cabin is a nice escape from the city but keep in mind this isn't a 5 star resort! Plan to hang out by the fire or head to the quiet public beach which is only a half block down the local only access road. Come for a weekend getaway from the city or plan a family vacation for longer that includes any number of outdoor activities such as swimming, boating, golfing or hiking.
The cabin is described as 'cozy' because it has that true cabin feel. Forget the AC, television, wifi and totally unplug without having to sleep outside in a tent! Our family loves spending our time outside roasting marshmallows or swimming at the local beach. We purchased a brand new BBQ last summer that cooks a perfect burger. The cabin water source is a holding tank which periodically needs to be refilled. We try to not let it get below 1/4 however please let us know if we need to call the water truck to have it filled. The sewer is a septic tank which also needs to be pumped out when full. Please let us know if the sinks or toilet are draining slowly and we can call the septic company ASAP.
We are located in the Fisher Creek subdivision of Candle Lake. There is an awesome local confectionary about 3 blocks away that has many treats and knick knacks as well as tee pees and a log cabin to explore. They also serve a great simple breakfast.

Brand new home, in a tranquil lakefront setting! Modern industrial home with all of the amenities, but set amongst trees and the sounds of loons. Cabin faces a peaceful bay, and is also adjacent to a protected nature area with trails for hiking or biking. Close to general groceries, golfing and other lakes. Double kayak available for use!
    A quiet getaway in nature
  • The stay was amazing, beautiful location. Would book again in the near future!

  • Would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a getaway in the area!

    Austin2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Needed to commute to Montreal Lake each day and the cottage is a great price given the others in the area and was a reasonable distance from where I needed to go. Only a 1 minute walk from the back porch to the lake, the view from both bedrooms toward the lake is beautiful to wake up to. The place was properly heated. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

  • Great spot for a getaway. Awesome cove for paddle boarding and swimming. Connie was a great host and the place was super clean

    Michael2019-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is lovely. The loft is a touch shorter than it appears to be in the pictures, but still very nice. The location is excellent. It is located on a small offshoot of the lake that gives it a peaceful private lake experience that is still within a nice distance of all public amenities and action. We really enjoyed our stay here and would gladly rent this cabin again. Connie was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was an excellent one.

  • The communications with the host were very quick and timely, the cottage was very clean, well stocked with appliances, the area was quiet, and the beds very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place and will look at booking it again in the future. Overall we would rate this place very high relative to all the places we have stayed at and would put it in the 4 to 4.5 out of 5 range. Thanks!

There are chairs at the back of the cabin that are used for sitting around the fire pit. There is a private dock on the lake available for your use as well. Please note that this is not a lake front cabin. Photo shows our private dock on the lake - not the view from the front of our cottage. (It takes 2 hrs 10 mins from Saskatoon.) 1 km to Elk Ridge (for golfing, restaurants, spa) and 5 kms to Waskesiu. There is a store at the corner of Hwy 2 where you turn off the highway (LT’s) for gas, drinking water jugs, food essentials, etc. I have heard that LT's has very good noodle bowls. One drinking water jug will be supplied for you. We usually go in to Waskesiu if we need anything or just to visit the beautiful beach. There is a fabulous bakery at the Trading Post in Waskesiu, a movie theatre and numerous restaurants & shops. Pete's Terrace has excellent pizza. McPhee is a small lake with many of the cottages/houses occupied year round. – including a couple of our neighbours. It is usually very quiet. This is our cottage (not a rental business) & we ask that renters respect our family's property and leave it as clean & in the same condition as they find it. (We do not charge a cleaning fee, however, should you wish to NOT clean before you leave, there will be a $200 charge. Please arrange this in advance. If, upon inspection, the cabin is not clean, $200 will be deducted from your security deposit.) Please respect our neighbours! There is an additional charge of $10 per person per night after the first 4 guests (maximum 6 people total). Long weekend rates differ - please inquire. Pets MAY be allowed - please inquire. $150 Non-refundable pet fee applicable. The 1000 gallon cistern will be full and the 1000 gallon septic tank will be empty. IF you use all of the water & require a pump-out or water delivery during your stay, there will be a $65 charge per pump-out and $180 per water delivery. This should NOT be necessary if minor water conservation techniques are used. Please note our strict cancellation policy as this will be adhered to. There is a very short rental season and while every effort will be made to rent after a cancellation, it may not be possible as most people make their summer plans well in advance. Please be honest - if you book for a certain # of people, we expect only that # to stay. IF more people stay than booked, you will forfeit your deposit & be asked to leave immediately without any refund. We do try to be as flexible and accommodating as possible so please do not take advantage. Unfortunately these rules have come about due to past unpleasant experiences with renters. We respect other people's property and hope everyone will respect ours. We are more than happy to answer any questions you may have so please ask!
  • Our family stayed for the week and had a wonderful time. David & Carol were wonderful hosts and provided clear instructions for everything. They made sure the cabin was very warm and inviting at check-in. Cabin was very clean and had a good floor plan. Would definitely stay again.

    Susan2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • David and Carol were excellent hosts. The communication was prompt and courteous and the cabin was very spacious and tidy. We really enjoyed the layout and having all of the conveniences of home. There was ample space for my family of three and would certainly accommodate a larger group. We had to improvise as there was no bathtub for our toddler and he wasn’t too keen on the shower lol. McPhee Lake is quiet and picturesque. We chatted with a few friendly residents. If David and Carol are renting their property again next year, we would definitely consider coming back.

    Michelle2019-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was nicely laid out and we enjoyed the screen porch and fire pit. The cabin is located close to a small beach that is great for kids and also just a 5-10 minute drive to Waskesiu. Only down side for us staying with teens (which might be an upside for others trying to get away) is that there is no wifi. All in all a great place to stay and a great value. Thanks Carol for your hospitality!

    Debbie2019-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • David and Carol went above and beyond in meeting us and going over the area to make sure we would enjoy our stay. The place was amazing and just a 10 minute drive outside the Prince Albert National Park with lots of privacy and very quiet compared to the park. Great place made a great time!

  • Clean, quiet and relaxing cabin to chill out and forget about life's stresses. Screened in porch is great and a perfect spot to hang out. Lake is quiet during the week and there is a nice little beach very close by. Private dock was nice to be able to keep our boat at during our stay. We managed to catch a few fish too. Overall a great location with elk ridge and waskasiu so close by. Carol and David were wonderful hosts and we would love to go back in the future

Tucked away out of the action, the Cedar Suite is a perfect honeymoon lodging or a quiet solace for reflection. The smell of cedar invigorates the senses.
The Cedar Suite is one of many cabins at The Ness Creek Site. Our cabins are comfortable, clean and rustic! While some cabins have everything you need to be self contained during your stay there are a few shared areas. This includes the Shower House which has a Mens and Womens side for bathrooms and looney operated showers. Our Kitchen where you're sure to meet us is also shared. There is a fridge and freezer just for guests and everything you need to cook a 5 Star meal in the bush. Our staff are always happy to help with leftovers ;). The Straw Bale House is also shared and is a great place to cozy up next to the fire or watch some Netflix. Last but certainly not least, we have a rustic Sauna for you to enjoy anytime. Wood is provided and there are detailed instructions on how to get it steamy but if you need a hand just let us know. In the Summer, the shared kitchen moves out into the Cantina which also has everything you need to store your food and cook up a great meal!
  • If you want a cozy rustic winter getaway then visiting the Ness Site is just for you. There are beautiful trails, access to skis and snowshoes, and so much heart and knowledge from employees. It's a community, it's a place of healing - get your butt out to the ness site to experience this gorgeous land.

There are several boat launches for you to use , there is one right at Pickerel Point at the campground (although we do not use this one as it is not the greatest), Some have launched smaller boats right down by the creek, the other one is at Zig Zag campground which is really nice , there is also a beach there for the kids to swim and play . There is a cost launching your boat. I do believe there is a government boat launch on the south end which we do not use because we always fish towards the north end of Delaronde Lake . There are also a lot of other lakes within a short distance for you to explore, like Cowan, Pancake, Williow, Neslin(has an amazing beach for water sports and swimming), and Ness Creek ( has a jamboree every year) . There is also a ski hill in the winter months.
  • Very comfortable little cabin in the woods. The paint colours made every day feel like a warm sunny hike through the woods, very happy and inviting vibes. The woodstove worked very well for heat and maintaining the fire really added to the cosy cabin experience. During our walks around the neighbourhood we greeted a few of the neighbours who were out and about, everyone was very kind and it was nice being apart of the community for a few nights. Overall I really enjoyed my stay. My girlfriend and I were able to grow as a couple while creating memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you Megan for a delightful stay :)

  • Very cute and cozy cabin! I like all the colours.. there’s a nice sized deck in the back and a cute fire place, I will be back again for sure!

  • Great location. Cute, colourful cabin. Lots of beds. We were 9 and a dog at our peak with visitors and never felt crowded. Nice firepit with lots of wood to keep the marshmallow roaster busy for hours making dad some s'mores. Fishing was amazing. It is a long trip by boat to the north end but we'll worth it. Angler's won't be disappointed. We were very lucky to have perfect tubing and fishing weather during our stay. We used the small boat launch in the creek all week and never had a problem getting the boat in or out. 16.5' with 60hp launched with ease. Hosts are very friendly, accommodating and respond to questions quickly. Excellent time here.

  • Our stay at Jeanettes cabin was perfect for a family getaway. We brought our own pillows as suggested in another review and definitely recommend. The photos don’t do the cabin justice as it is a lot bigger than it looks and has a good layout, the rooms are fairly spacious as well. Very clean and well equipped kitchen which is also nice! The cabin is located in a great spot with a nice view across the lake to watch the sunrise. The beds do need updating but nothing terrible and we slept okay for 3 nights on them, for a longer stay it might not be as good. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and would be back again!

  • A quirky cabin, shelves of fascinating books. Clean. The kitchen was well equipped

  • This was our second stay at Jeanette's and it was as great as the first time. Very clean, everything we needed was available from measuring spoons to a dock for the boat. the kids had fun swimming in nice shallow lake right in the back yard. Def. Recommended!

    Mizz2019-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was very clean. The added touch of kid friendly games and movies was nice. You can tell Jeanette has pit thought and care in the set up of this cabin. Thanks for the great stay.

  • We used Lisa cabin for work accommodations while building a new home in the area for a client. Having the ability to light a fire and relax on the recliner couches was a nice finish to the days we were working in the area.

  • No surprise, the accommodation exactly matches the description found on the site AirBnB. The host, Lisa, is very quick to respond to any requests, which was very much appreciated. It provides many useful explanations and information about the area and the region. Thanks Lisa!

The Lakeland has stores, restaurants and pubs but not all are open year round. Close by are Fern’s, Sunnyside bar, Sunset Bay Resort and Jewel of the North. A little further away are Lake Country Cottage Restaurant, Yellow Fender and Papa Pizza. Ambrose grocery has all the necessities and is the local liquor store. You will also find the delicious Bear Country Fudge here! The nearest beach is Murray Point only a couple minutes drive away.
  • Michelle’s cabin was amazing! There was a ton of space that was easily able to accommodate 7 people. The cabin felt very rustic and had everything that we needed for our trip, the kitchen was huge and easy to cook all of our meals. Michelle was excellent and very quick to respond to all of my messages. I would recommend Michelle’s place to anyone wanting a cabin getaway!

    Bryn2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • This property was FANTASTIC for a large group gathering. The layout of the house allowed for smaller groups to break-out into various spaces of the home and the early-to-bed guests could escape and rest quietly away from the night owls. The entire property is roomy, comfortable and gorgeous! It is worth noting to follow the written directions to the property which Michelle provides. The google location pin takes you down to the lake!

  • Michelle’s place was such a wonderful space to celebrate a bachelorette party! It was much bigger than expected and was very comfortable. It had everything we needed and more! I would highly recommend this spot if you’re wanting to spend quality time with family or friends in a beautiful location.

    Paige2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • The photos honestly can’t do this place justice, it has an amazing layout and the games room upstairs was a perfect place for our family to ring in the New Year. It was spotless and extremely well stocked when we arrived. Michelle responded to the few questions we had within minutes. If you are looking for a getaway from the hustle and bustle then look no further, this place is it. I was almost tempted to give a bad review so I could keep this place a secret, but it needs be enjoyed by many other families. We are already thinking ahead to next year. Thanks Michelle, you really are a super host.

  • Our family had a most wonderful stay!!! We thoroughly enjoyed the private log cabin with so much for everyone to enjoy - karaoke, board games, ping pong, sitting by the fire and watching the stars, sitting on the wrap-a-round deck in the sunshine, and hanging out together in the beautiful kitchen. The entire place is incredibly cozy and very welcoming. Fabulous place to visit!

  • I stayed two days in the 'Trapper's tent'. Although check in didn't go terribly smooth, I found where I was going on my own and was delighted to find a fire already roaring to make the tent nice and cozy. I immensely appreciated it. The tent was close to the main building but set back enough that it felt secluded. Everyone I encountered was very kind and helpful. The main bathrooms and kitchen were accessible, clean and warm (important when its -10). Ness Creek overall was a magical space full of things to explore.

  • Loved the yurt! It felt so luxurious and comfortable, while still enjoying the sights and sounds of nature. It was the perfect weekend getaway! The only thing that I wish there was are maybe some lights that lead from the parking area to the yurt. It definitely made for a few terrifying walks back to the yurt in total darkness! But otherwise everything was absolute perfection!

  • Flora Bora is such a treat. We stayed here following our wedding in Waskesiu and it was exactly what we needed to unwind. Karen greets you and gets you settled in. The yurt was clean, adorable decorated and stocked with basic (and not so basic) amenities like coffee beans, cleaning supplies and robes. We enjoyed the hammock, canoe, barbecued supper on the deck and the cozy heat of the yurt. The bed was also super comfy, which helped. We will definitely be back!

  • We were here for two nights for a weekend of snowmobiling. Brent’s place is very cosy and bright for a basement suite. He was very accommodating in allowing us to check in early and check out later. Each bedroom had its own sink and vanity which is handy since there is only one full bathroom. This place is a great value for the nightly rate. We will definitely come back again next winter.

  • The cabin is off the beaten path, but with a few friendly neighbors fairly close by. The cabin and setting is better than the pictures show. We stayed in the winter and the wood stove was perfect. A very peaceful location. Would like to return in summer. Both bathrooms and kitchen are very well equipped, and beds were comfortable. • Our family's return visit to Michael's cabin was enhanced by superb cross country skiing, the good use we made of the well-equipped kitchen, and the snow mobile trails right outside the door. The space is ideal for a multi-generational family retreat. Our eleven year old grandson has already requested the stay to be twice as long next year!

  • What a wonderful, and magical place. We went in the middle of January, and it was the perfect winter escape. Excellently maintained ski trails, although we opted to use snowshoes and explore that way. The amenities are everything you could need - the kitchen was well stocked, lots of wood for the wood burning stove in the common area, and we especially enjoyed using the sauna! We had a misunderstanding and thought our room was pet friendly (when it wasn't) and these hosts exceeded expectations in quickly finding a solution (for a problem that wasn't their fault at all). I cannot recommend a stay here enough; it will be the rejuvenating escape to nature that leaves you refreshed.

This is a cozy, private cabin located on the back road at Murray Point, a five minute walk from the beach and 3 minute walk from the store. It is family owned and perfect for families with children. It has a very simple design and is low maintenance. It does not include bedding or bathing towels, but includes kitchen clothes and all other basic amenities. If you are looking for a place to escape the city, this is the place for you.
The cottage is located on the back street and there is very little traffic or noise around.
  • This little cabin served us well. It was sparkling clean and had everything you would need on site, no need to bring anything except bedding and towels. There were only 2 of us (and 2 dogs which was a huge bonus that we were able to bring them!!) but the cabin easily can sleep 8. It has 2 bedrooms with double beds, one with bunks and a pull out in the LR. It was cold at night but the electric heat kept the cabin comfortable. We had enough water for the two of us, and firewood. The cabin is across from the woods so there are no others across from you. Its a very quiet area, very private. Its got a wrap around deck with an overhang so you can BBQ and sit out in the rain. Its not far from the beach, close enough to walk. I really enjoyed the fact the TV had all the channels you need for those really cold nights we could not stay outside. Hosts were wonderful, they popped in when we arrived. And we chatted a bit when we ran into them on our walks. There is a store close by and restaurant that serves Delicious Pizza if you dont feel like cooking! (The store is pricey however) Overall this was a very good experience.

  • It was a very good two days in the nature. Very good campsite to enjoy the tranquility abd to be relaxed. We stayed with my husband in Cozy Cabin. But there was enough room for four persons, for example parents with two children. There is a small stove in the room. On the first relatively cold evening we were able to make the fire with the previously prepared wood and it made the stay even more comfortable. The kitchen and the showers with the toilets are in an extra cottage. The using of shower costs 1 CAD for about 3 minutes. The kitchen is fully equipped with all utensils to cook or even to bake. You can eat in the canteen next to the kitchen, you do not have to bring the food back to the cabin. Gordon and his staffs were all very nice, absolutely helpful and friendly. We were at the beginning of September here and could hike very well. In the winter there are certainly many trails for cross-country skiing. In the numerous lakes in the area (5 to 15 minutes by car depending on the choice) you can fish and swim well. Highly recommended Delatonde Lake. We caught a lot of pikes. There is the possibility to clean the fish (by the staff) and to grill. I would absolutely recommend this campground.

  • Very interesting place we really enjoyed our stay.

  • The cabins at Ness Creek are a great place to get away from the city and enjoy a weekend in the forest. The cabin was very clean and spacious and really enjoyed the wood stove in Cabin 3!

  • What a cozy place to chill after long day of snowy adventures. You won’t find better hosts than Gordon, Perry and Kerry . Fantastic location and amazing hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone who’s looking to have an offbeat adventure.

  • We staying at Ness Creek in cabin 3. Ness creek was probably at 2.5 hour drive from Saskatoon it’s in a deserted area so at first we were confused where we were going. We had to use google maps. Once we arrived Pam greeted us and showed us around. The lot on Ness Creek is really unique there’s music festivals that go on during the summer and so seeing all of that was really interesting. Our cabin was super cute and really clean. The beds were very comfortable. I slept great! The common kitchen was awesome too it had everything you need. Everyone staying there was also super friendly and helped us with hiking trails or any questions we had. There’s a small fridge in the cabin but that’s it. What we did was brought already made food and heat it up on the wood burning fireplace in our cabin. It made the experience more fun. The bathrooms are also clean and close to most of the cabins. They have showers in there as well all though we did not use them but everything was super clean. It was a perfect quiet night out of the city in nature. I will 100 percent be coming back.

  • Gwen's place is so beautiful and very well laid out for a larger group. Her place was sparkling clean and she left thoughtful little notes and instructions for any quirks or hidden items. It unfortunately rained most of the weekend we were there so we could enjoy the outdoor amenities, but the back patio looked like such a great place to spend a summer weekend. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a cabin to stay at.

There is lots of room for guests, and it is walking distance to a cute little beach and a store. The boat launch is only 5 min away, and it is in a nice and quiet area of the lake. Carmen was fantastic and easy to get a hold of. I would most definitely stay here again!

    Anthony2018-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Secluded. very peaceful. you don't need anything other than groceries. Lake is just through the trees....two minute walk. Not a big beach, but nobody else was really down there so it was like we had a private beach! Very cozy at night. beautiful drive to the location. We were never bored and lots of hiking within 30 minutes of the house in the National Park. Seriously, would do this again in a heartbeat!

  • Carmen's cabin is cozy and have good amenities. The location is awesome and easy to find. It's a 25'-30' drive from PA but it's worth it ! I would recommend Carmen's place and I will stay there again for my next trip to PA. Thank you Carmen for the great communication and for being such a great host.

    Olivier2017-06-15T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved this cute little cabin. We had a hard time finding it because we arrived later in the evening and the Christopher/Emma Lake area is hard to navigate around in the best of times! But it was perfect. As a group of bridesmaids and the bride, we needed a space that would work for us to get ready for the wedding. We got ready in the nice little porch area which is screened, so the bugs didn't bother us. There was a lot of space and it was such a quaint little place to stay in. Would definitely recommend it to anyone else looking for a nice place to stay in this area!

And thank you to Perry for getting the wood fired sauna ready for us, much appreciated! We loved our stay in Carli’s Castle, such a cute little cabin and you can be totally self contained there with the exception of washrooms. Very well stocked with everything we could possibly need, sparkling clean, clear directions for arrival and departure, very responsive to communication, great value overall!! We had a heavy snowfall while staying there and Beau had the snow promptly removed after the snowfall ended. The kind gentleman who cleared the snow even helped to clean off our vehicles. There was an abundant supply of wood for the indoor fireplace. Large spacious rooms throughout the entire house. Absolutely gorgeous sunroom. Very spacious, well stocked kitchen with nice big island and tall countertop. Plenty of room to park our vehicles. Heated floors in two of the bathrooms. Two bathrooms on main floor plus large bathroom upstairs. Nice laundry area. Large entrance area with bench for removal of outdoor items. Plenty of seating for dining. • We stayed here for a week with our 6-year old twins in Aug 2019. The cabin was exactly as advertised. Our kids loved the play structure, seeing deer daily, and using the fire pit. We appreciated the little touches like the rainy day board games, outdoor games, comfortable fire pit chairs (and provided kindling for the fire - yay!), spacious kitchen and pantry for all our stuff, plus the balcony for our morning coffee. It's a quick drive to the beach and the subdivision was quiet. The lot and cabin layout provided privacy for our evening campfires. Megan was very quick to respond to our messages. Thank you! • We had a great stay at Emma Lake and I would definitely recommend staying here. Good sized cabin/house with a very nice backyard to relax in. Modern design and homey decor were a plus also! Check this place out!

  • A fabulous Airbnb experience! Super clean and lovely inside with everything you could need for your lake stay! Super close to the beach at Sunset and a very short walk to Sunnyside. We all had the best time and can’t wait to go back!

  • The place offers tons of comfortable sleeping accommodations, and has more than enough room and had everything we may have wanted or needed inside. Stellar location too, would definitely go back.

Our Lake Front cabin was built to entertain. Come and experience 2200 feet of living area, walkout patio, on the ground level, living room upstairs and entertainment room downstairs. This cabin offers spectacular views of the lake. There’s nothing like sitting on the deck and enjoying your morning coffee, or relaxing at the end of the day with a glass of wine. We expect our guests to relax, get comfortable, and enjoy this home away from home.

  • The cabin is lovely and very well appointed. Comfy beds and very nice bedding and towels. Hosts were very generous in sharing lots of extras. All communication was excellent and timely. Back yard fire pit area is even more beautiful in summer. Thank you

  • Excellent stay at the Cabin on Torch Lake. The Cabin was very clean upon arrival and had more than the description indicated. It had a baby gate aswell as a pack and play for use. I would highly recommend this location for a large family as it was plenty spacious. Great trip!

  • This place is great and the photos don’t do it justice. Modern, clean, all the amenities you need. There is also a park for kids right across the street. Candle lake is shallow and great for kids. The deck off the kitchen is great - covered and screened in! We had a great time

  • The house was clean and so roomy. There was 7 adults & 3 kids & we had tons of room. We had inclement weather and weren’t able to beach it but we could always find things to do. The firepit was so great. We used it as much as we could. The neighbour was so friendly as was her dog & the kids just loved playing with the dog. Also, Pat was a tremendous host. He was so quick to respond to our many questions😀. We would definitely recommend this place.
