This place is exactly as the description she has. The rooms she offered are really clean and she is very helpful and accommodating. She even recommended an amazing taxi driver named Enrique who was honest and great to get around by. Christy lived on location so anything you need she is there to help. Great and cozy home. Christy and David were really warm and welcoming. Christy even offered to accompany me to the airport to pick up family so I wouldn't drive alone. She was really helpful with letting me know were to access places and things to buy.

Christy's charming villa was great for the kind of experience I was trying to achieve in Rosarito. She was attentive to our needs and was only a phone call away. She was on premise which made it very helpful. The villas are a off the beaten path but a taxi or uber gets you around fairly easily. The view from the balcony is one of a kind as well.

My boyfriend and I planned a very last min trip to Rosarito and Christy still accommodated us! It's about a 10 min maybe even less drive down to the beach. They suggested really great local spots to eat. We were very happy with our stay. It is a cute little Villa and we do plan to return many times when we need a mini get away from the states! The room was great. We were just a about 8 minutes from the beach driving. All the good restaurants are just down the street. Place was really nice. We had cable TV AND DVD. Great place to stay.

This is the closes you will get to an Airbnb feeling like a hotel... Martha had fresh towels, shampoo, breakfast items and a full range of movies to watch... she made our stay very pleasing! The patio area with the running waterfall was soothing... Will definitely come again.

Marilyn was a great host, very friendly and helpful. She prepared very good appetizers, breakfast and fruit. She helped us in many ways and gave us useful suggestions on what to do around! The house has a private parking too. Great choice.

Mariyln and Mary was a sweetheart, made us breakfast (eggs, coffee, fresh juice, and fruits). She was very accommodating with our arrival and departure time. Communication is superior and couldn't ask for better! Bed is full size with alot of pillows. Room has a fan to keep us cool. Bathroom is small, but adequate and shower space was big. Wifi was working. She provided ample towels for us to use! Watch for a big street bump at entrance of street as you enter to her street.

Marilyn was a great host for many reasons. Her home was very warm and welcoming! She made me a delicious egg breakfast and drove me where I needed to go for my volleyball tournament. Despite it being my first time in Mexico I had a wonderful time because Marilyn made sure I was safe and taken care of throughout my stay in Rosarito. If I am ever in the area again I can't imagine staying anywhere else!

Marilyn was such a wonderful host to my girlfriend and I! Her home is so beautiful with very interesting art and books and contact with local talent. Every morning she looked after us to have fresh fruit, coffee or juice for breakfast. She had gated parking for us and we felt very safe in her neighborhood. We also had hours and hours of so very interesting conversations. The work she does is so full of passion and she knows so many wonderful people. We arrived to Rosarito one weekend and she was able to accommodate us last minute and we couldn't be more grateful to her. My girlfriend had a recent back injury and it got worse after we went to the beach where there was a cold breeze. Marilyn was so amazing to us by connecting us with Ix Chel who is an expert in natural and herbal medicine who was able to help us both spiritually and physically. I cannot say enough great things of our experience with Marilyn and we hope you will too. We love you Marilyn!

I had the most wonderful experience staying at Marilyn's for a weekend in Rosarito. It is not only that the the house is extremely clean and comfortable, but Marilyn herself is an extraordinary and warm host. She will make any visitor feel most welcome in Rosarito. One of the highlights about staying here is that Marilyn has all the connections to the local art scene, to make sure that you have an interesting stay. I strongly recommend Casa bal Mar!

Marilyn's place was very clean and comfortable. If you don't mind the sound of roosters early in the morning, then this is your place to stay for a fraction of the cost. The host Marilyn was very accommodating and eager to ensure your stay is comfortable. It's about a mile in a half from the main road in Rosarito. And she has convenient stores within a short distance. Not bad for your quick stay.

Marilyn is very communicative. She asked about our interest and suggested things we could do even before we arrived. Her place was very safe and the gated parking was an added plus. We didn't feel worried at all about our car. We felt free to come and go as we wished.

Marilyn, was a great host she offered to make freshly squeezed juice and coffee in the mornings. She also gave us some ideas on places to try in the area.

I felt like Christy went above and beyond. She was available when I had a question and she even took us to the bar on Saturday night when there were no cabs available (because it was a busy night ).

This villa s beautiful and cozy! it's about a 5 minute drive to the main street in Rosarito and very accessible. Place is very clean and beautifully decorated, it was more than what we expected! We loved the view from the balcony, so relaxing...We really enjoyed having our cup of coffee there in the morning and enjoyed the panorama view. Christy was very helpful and we had great communication. The person she sent to meet us was really nice and went out of his way to answer all questions we had and drive us to the closest supermarket! He also drove us to the best Seafood restaurant that we LOVED so much! Thank You Cruz!! I am definitely looking forward to staying here again and maybe even renting some of the other villas!

I love Cristy! She's so helpful and when the hangover was unbearable, I sent Cristy a message asking for some ibuprofen and she gave it to me free of charge! The last time I came to Rosarito I stayed at a hotel for about the same price but it wasn't very clean and it smelled like cigarettes. Cristy's villa felt like a home away from home, and Niko(the cat) made it even homier. I would definitely visit again and recommend Cristy's villas. Although they are a bit far from the center of Rosarito, Cristy has a taxi driver that is only a call away :)

Christy is a great accommodating host. Gave us great tips on local food and sights to see. Her place is private and relaxing. Her place is a 5 drive from downtown so she provided a taxi drivers number which we used every time we needed a lift for just $5 a ride. Great place for her nightly rate. Would definitely try to stay here again.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Everything went better than expected. Mango was an excellent host, he allowed my guests and I to check in early and when we had any concerns he was quick to reply. I also liked the fact that our car was inside the gate we felt comfortable when we would leave knowing everything was safe. I would definitely recommend this apartment to someone, everything is with in basically a 10-15 minute walk so if you don't mind taking a taxi or walking it's perfect.

Clean and comfortable place to stay in Rosarito. You can park your car inside which is a great advantage. About 10min walking distance from papa's n beers so if you wanna come back really late at nights it's better to take a taxi or Uber

It was very easy to get from the apartment down to papas & beer which is what we went for. The place was very clean and the beds are SO COMFORTABLE. I like that the parking space was gated, makes you feel more secure. Great hosts considering the fact we changed the date last minute. Would stay here again.

Kathy's place was a great find! Communication was amazing and she met us at the Home Depot at Rosarito Norte to ensure a smooth check-in. The apt is recently renovated and has all the modern amenities. Nice back deck/porch with a wonderful cool breeze. Also, the SmartTv with Netflix came in handy! The location is a couple miles from town/beach, but it is an easy ride. It was nice to be away from the downtown hustle, but it is food and a convenience store are less than a mile away. The location of the house is a middle class Rosarito neighborhood and there is a locked gate to make sure that your car is extra safe. I felt totally safe walking my dogs around the area. Met a couple of the neighbors and they were all friendly. Kathy was also full of great recommendations and loaned us a hair dryer. She also recommended a couple of great places to eat. Definitely a good spot if you are visiting Rosarito!

Our party's stay here was just fabulous! The place was much bigger than what it looks like in the pictures. It was extremely clean and well equipped with the necessary toiletries, kitchen supplies, and they even provided clean linens and blankets. You could see a great view of las Playas de Rosarito from the porch. Esteban, Bety, and Kathy were very hospitable, kind, and attentive. Bety met us up to guide us to the place and both Esteban and Kathy were very responsive within a short amount of time. Whenever I needed anything they were just a phone call away and they always answered. They even provided us with a list of trusted taxi cabs and showed us downtown Rosarito when we were following them to their place. I liked the fact that their location was gated, this made me feel at ease when leaving my car there for the weekend meanwhile we went out to Papas and Beer. For a group of four college girls who spent their first weekend in Rosarito, we felt extremely safe and comfortable at the place. I would definitely book this place again every time we come back to Papas and Beer! I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for something much more than a room with two beds; Esteban's apartment offered a comfortable and safe space overall. Gracias!

Miguel was a fantastic host! He really goes above and beyond to make sure that his guests are happy. He was available via text and call before our arrival and provided great support in case we had any questions or concerns. Upon arrival Miguel was very warm and friendly and was also always attentive to our needs. His home is also very beautiful. Very clean and had everything that we needed. The BBQ area and courtyard is very relaxing and provided a very tranquil environment. Miguel's home is located only 3 blocks from the main blvd of Rosarito and the beach. We had a great time and were even considering staying longer but had to return to other responsibilities. Overall, Miguel was great and we had an awesome time. We will be booking with Miguel in the future. Thank you for your hospitality Miguel. We will see you again.

Miguel was very attentive from the start. He was very detailed with directions, he picked us up from a near by store and explain how to get to his place. We had a clean kitchen with all necesary apliences, the entire apartment was very clean and cozy. The neighbourhood feels safe and is close to the beach and public transit. Miguel checked up on us to make sure everything was ok, he was lovely, made us feel at home :)

There are plenty of beds, which means everyone could sleep comfortably. The house is in great condition, and there is enough spaces to fit cars in the front yard. The house is very secure with bars covering every window. The hosts are very friendly and they are just a phone call away!

Debora was really helpful, but the inconvenience about the water was really bad.

The home was more than we could have asked for. Debora and her sisters were very helpful and friendly. This house is definitely a good spot for larger groups. We were a group of 10 and found it to fit our needs. Don't be steered away from home becauae of the one bathroom. As a large group made it work. Plus the bathroom was pretty spacious. We had a mishap with one of the windows and Debora was very kind about it. Definitely would stay again and would recommend this location to others.

I stayed at Debora's place in Rosarito over the weekend with some friends. The place was as described. Nice and spacious, felt secure, and a fairly short walk to the beach and bars. Unfortunately we were late arriving due to buses and a few mixups of our own, so her sister who was letting us in had to wait for a very long time, but was still very friendly when we arrived, and offered to give people rides to get food. They also came in, cleaned in-between days, and left us breakfast in the fridge. Sadly, we weren't able to thank them in person, but it was very much appreciated. All in all. A great place to stay. A+

The house was great very cozy. Also very close downtown only about 5 min away driving max. The area first threw us off, but it turned out to be a nice quiet area. We went to the tortilleria in the corner and had good tortillas lol. I would work on trying to habe more hot water other than that a good experience. Thank you!

Boy did we have a good time staying at Christy's!! Christy, her husband (Dave) and Momma, really know how to make you feel more than welcome, rather right at home. We really had a great stay at Christy's, more over but even greater, we gained some friends for life. Christy's place consist of 4 units. We were able to tour each of the separate apartments. They where all very well kept, and the decor was beautiful. We absolutely can not wait to revisit Rosarito, and when we do we will stay at Christy's. Christy and David are the perfect hosts! They made us (including our furry babies) feel welcome and were ready to assist us in anything we needed. They both went beyond the call of duty to make our stay a pleasant one. The kitchenette included everything we could possibly need-- from wine openers to coffee filters! We'll be returning very soon!

I truly enjoyed staying at Christy's place. We reserved two units (#4 and a studio) for a one-night stay. Both units offered a great view and were extremely clean. It was an easy drive from the main strip and offered secured parking. A couple of things for Villa #4 (although Christy mentioned that she's working on getting these resolved)...1.) the wifi was spotty and 2.) no cable/satellite in for the tv, buts tons of dvds to watch. Christy was easy to contact, very responsive, worked with an early check-in, and even offered information on where to watch a boxing match we were eager to see. The only thing I would like to mention is that the immediate street that the units are on is not paved. Not a major deal for us, but it might be important to others who worry about their cars.

Christy was an absolute wonderful hostess. Both Katy and I felt very welcomed to Christy's Villas 2. This unit has a million dollar view of the Pacific Ocean. The private patio to take your coffee or afternoon drinks is awesome. Comfortable sofa to lounge on and an amazingly cozy bed too. We went wanting for nothing and we will definitely come back for another stay.

Christy's villa made an excellent weekend getaway with a beautiful view along with the quietness of being a little further out on a bluff. Highly recommend uber instead of taxis especially at night when commuting from downtown to the compound, however christy provided everything we could think of! Had a great stay here. Made the booking the day before we showed up, and Miguel was very flexible with our timing. He had the place all ready for us by the time we got there, and was very helpful with anything and everything we needed.

This place is a perfect area to stay in. It is in a good area, not too far and not too close to everything. It was about half a mile walk, about 10-15 minutes to get to everything. Miguel also provided very good information about the area, recommending places, do's and dont's, etc.. Anything you need to know is just a question away, he is very attentive. The place itself is nice, the patio and the fountain make it very calming to hangout outside. It is also gated and watched over by Miguel so you can park your car and leave it there the whole time during your stay. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone.

Miguel was very good at communication for all transportation details from border crossing at TJ to meeting us in Rosarito. He met us and even took us to the grocery store before checking in. We could text him with little questions that came up, and he handled everything promptly. The place is older construction, but very tidy and well maintained with constant attention from Miguel. The courtyard is a lovely respite with fountain, flowers and two citrus trees. Very handy little convenience store and a bakery are at the nearest corner. It is a short stroll down a quiet street to the main drag with everything, and the beach just beyond. Nice little place from which to explore Rosarito and nearby Baja, from a close-in neighborhood instead of one of the hotels on the strip.

This place is a great value. Two separate rooms and an awesome balcony to relax on. Five blocks to the beaches and some really great restaurants. Aqua bar and la Michoacán taco shop were two of our favorites. The neighborhood is residential, so know that you'll be amidst real residents. Everyone was friendly and the check in was very easy. Most importantly, communication was seamless. Lisa responds to messages immediately and answers questions thoroughly. Would definitely visit again.

The house is lovely and exactly as the pictures show. There is plenty of space and you will have everything you need and more. The area is a bit more rural and you have to drive to the touristy area unless you don't mind walking 1.5-2 miles one way. The apartment and area around it are locked and safe and everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. Esteban and Kathy really do their best to resolve any issues as they come up.

Esteban was really kind and arranged everything perfectly. The apartment is as described and offers anything you need for a pleasant stay. For any troubles we had, Esteban and his wife were there to assist us.
