Quiet, good sized room on first floor in a large barn conversion paddock building. Guests will have secure, off road parking in a quiet location. The barn conversion was once run as a Bed and Breakfast so the property is geered for guests. (There are 3 other rooms) There is Internet on site. Kitchen, Lounge and Dinning Room all shared. There are 3 Bathrooms in the property with one next door to this room. Hosts have been on Airbnb for over 5 years and look forward to meeting new guests.
The house is spacious and recently modernised. The location is quiet and rural, but Crick village with pubs and shops is 1.5 miles away. The room features a window over looking the acre long paddock with sheep and a pony. Guests will also be able to see their car from the room as the private drive is at the rear of the premises. Enjoy your stay!
Paddock Cottage is one of four properties on site. The location is peaceful and quiet. Property is surrounded by farmland and Park areas, but still close enough to the A5 and M1.
  • Excellent host very clean nice rural location

PROS: New bathroom, new kitchen, king size bed, clean, quiet, warm, comfortable, owner out every evening so sole use of house, sofa (TV remote!) and all facilities, small, friendly, self sufficient dog (Border Terrier) Eddie, who is practically mute so no barking but good company! Lovely garden with seating, 10 minutes walk to Daventry centre, short drive to M1, M40, DIRFT, Ford etc CONS: Dog might not be everyone's cup of tea (gasp!) due to allergies. Awaiting carpet after recent renovations!
Adjacent to a park and in a quiet culdesac yet close to amenities, fish and chip shop and handy, local store. This space is a relaxed home from home.
Quiet neighbourhood with little disturbance and friendly atmosphere yet walkable into Daventry town centre for restaurants/pubs/takeaway.
  • Lovely stay and nice breakfast. Lovely host and Eddie the dog is very cute and well behaved

    Claire2020-03-13T00:00:00Z

  • This is a really great little find if you need a place to stay in the area. Such a beautiful house, with some really lovely touches for you to enjoy your stay. Really peaceful, easy parking and a very friendly dog. Not sure what else you could want for somewhere to stay!

  • I had a wonderful stay with Rebekah- a really comfortable bed, in a welcoming and warm room, on a very quiet road, meant that I had a fantastic restful night’s sleep. She is the perfect host, friendly and welcoming- and so is her charming dog, Eddie! The house has been really tastefully decorated, with lots of thoughtful and homely touches throughout. I would thoroughly recommend Beks and her house for anyone needing an Airbnb in the area!

A beautiful one bedroom annex in a rural setting with its own garden surrounded by fields and stables (available so that you can bring your horse (s) with you). NEWLY INSTALLED Wi-Fi BOOSTER. Rural walks and local attractions close by, including Althorpe House, Silverstone , local fishing and Coton Manor. Lovely local country pubs in Ravensthorpe and East Haddon - within walking distance. We have some good local pubs which offer a variety of different menus within walking and driving distance; we are always happy to make a recommendation.
  • This is a cozy little annex out of the way tucked in behind the trees and even though near the road surprisingly quiet at night. I stayed 2 nights and both of them were relaxing and without issue.

    Dominic2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Spotlessly clean, great check in process and communication, cosy, good parking and just what was required. I even left something behind and was able to pop back and pick it up without any fuss.

Beautifully renovated, self contained one bedroom annex to large family home. If you are breaking a journey or working in the midlands we are fantastically located just 5 mins off the M1 (J17/J16), 3 mins from the A5 and 10 mins from A14. If you are wanting to get away from it all then we are in the heart of the countryside (with all its walks and pubs) but within easy reach of Stratford, Leamington, Rugby, Towcester and Silverstone.
  • Always a pleasure to stay at Sarah’s when I’m away in business. It is so peaceful and cozy and she left a little Xmas tree which was lovely 😊

  • I just did an overnight here so cannot comment on the local area. It is a stylish well appointed apartment. Lovely well equipped kitchen replete with croissants milk marmalade and butter on arrival. There are cereals tea coffee and milk as well as oil and condiments. Comfortable and quiet. Warm bed and a superb shower and bathroom. Thoroughly recommend it. When in the area I would love to return

    Christopher2019-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, great place and a lovely friendly host. We met Sarah a few minutes after arriving and she made sure we had everything we needed. The place is a little tricky to find especially as we arrived after dark but this obviously can't be helped. I would recommend this little place for an over night stop or a few days if you're exploring the local area. 5 stars from me. Thanks Pip.

  • Lovely, clean and comfortable small space, ideal for a couple of nights at a reasonable price. The shower was excellent, and the bed and pillows super comfortable! Tasty light breakfast was left in the fridge. We really appreciated easy access to the unit and the excellent, safe off street parking. The family were around much of the time, but we felt comfortable just getting on with our plans. Sarah was super friendly and communication excellent. Would definitely stay again.

  • Wonderful experience. Spacious, super clean home, beautiful garden, peaceful area and private

    Rosalie2019-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • From the moment that I walked through the door I was made to feel very welcome. The hostess, Sue, was charming and incredibly interesting and I enjoyed a thoroughly entertaining chat with her. The bedroom was very comfortable and what struck me the most was that everything was of a great quality; the bed, the mattress, the sheets, the duvet and especially the towels. The bathroom was spacious with an excellent shower/bath. The kitchen, to which I had complete access, was also spacious and the coffee and tea were of a really good quality; how rare that is to find these days! The entire house was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated and there was absolutely nothing that I could fault. For me the location was a joy; a small pretty English village set right in the middle of beautiful countryside. I might add that Susan's garden was gorgeous and the lawn was absolutely immaculate! Having suffered a number of nights in the different hotels in Market Harborough it was a joy to get a good night's sleep! All in all a thoroughly enjoyable stay and I cannot recommend Susan's airbnb highly enough.

    Chris2019-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • You can expect a genuine welcome from Susan into her lovely home. She's got a very down to earth, flexible and 'can do' approach to life and that's so refreshing in todays world. Having a lovely (quiet) pub just across the road is a real bonus too!

    Andrew2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Gorgeous house, extremely good value for money. Susan is so friendly, I felt completely relaxed and very welcome in her home. I could not recommend enough and so grateful to find somewhere so beautiful at such an amazing price.

Our comfortable and peaceful double room has a full private en-suite bathroom and is in the quiet single storey extension on the back of our dormer bungalow. It has a king size bed, an off-street parking space and a separate entrance. Guests can come and go as they please, and are welcome to share the sunny deck with our family. It's right in the middle of our village, two minutes' walk from our Co-op and friendly pubs, and just a couple of minutes' drive from the M1, M6 and A5.
Guests have their own entrance, bathroom and parking space. Room facilities include a 32" TV, wi-fi, tea and coffee-making facilities, plates and cutlery, a small electric cool box and toaster. We put a pint of milk in the cool box on your arrival. You are welcome to buy light meals and snacks from our local Co-op (just a minute's walk away) and eat or store them in the room. We provide big bath towels (changed on request), shower gel & shampoo. If you would like fresh towels each day, please ask. If you're staying long-term, let me know how often you'd like your bedding changed and the room cleaned.
I am happy to discuss discounted rates with guests who are working in the area and looking for a long-term regular booking for three or more days a week. Our village is surrounded by wonderful country walks - our newly planted Jubilee Wood, the Jurassic Way and the towpath of the peaceful Leicester branch of the Grand Union canal, for instance. Stratford-on-Avon and historic Warwick Castle are just 35 minutes' drive away. A 40-minute train trip into the busy city of Birmingham for some fabulous shopping is easy from nearby Rugby station - if we can, we'll be happy to give you a lift. The area has lots of lovely country pubs serving good food. This is a very quiet village and our house stands right in the heart of it.

The room had everything we could have wanted, a telly, coffee and tea making facilities, a microwave, a bath/shower, a little cooler with milk. Cheryl even made us Full English breakfasts both mornings free of charge and they were really lovely. Communication was very quick and easy. There is a lot of space available for parking and she allowed us to park there before check in and after check out which was very helpful.

This 19th century village property is welcoming and full of character. The ground floor offers a single bedroom and twin/double room, both rooms have a sharing toilet and shower room, separate to the rest of the property. It offers its own sofa-lounge area with tv to share between these 2 rooms. The 3rd room is family size room located on the 2nd floor and equipped with a kingsize bed and the option of 2 extra single beds to accommodate families where needed, with TV and shared bathroom.
This property is at the heart of the Village and within a stones throw to the local public house. There are plenty of fields and bridal paths for hikes and adventures that you can enjoy. The property has plenty of street parking for guests to use. Also available is a fully functional kitchen and facilities that all guests are welcome to use as they please.
My property is located within a prime location and close to A5/M1/M6. We have the pleasure of being so close the incredible Stanford Hall with all the events they host from the Firework competitions to the Wolf run events. We are centrally located between both Rugby and Lutterworth with both being approx 4miles away. Rugby being so famous for the sport and also the gorgeous Rugby school it is always well worth a trip. Lutterworth is a small quaint town and has variety of shops, pubs and restaurants as does Rugby so you are spoilt for choose. Food delivery services are available from both Rugby and Lutterworth. Kilworth House is a spectacular hotel with an incredible open air theatre which is an experience in itself, over the past few years they have hosted shows such as ‘Kiss me Kate’ ‘Joseph’ and most recently ‘CATS’ . They also host many events and lunches and the afternoon tea is well worth sampling. Lutterworth and Kilworth Springs are both local golf courses and from my own experiences are a joy to play on. The restaurants at both are well respected and worth a visit. The Foxton Locks are located approx 8 miles away and the annual Crick Boat Show takes place nearby and is popular among travellers from all around. Swinford is a lovely village and all locals are friendly and welcoming .

  • Susan was a great host the property was fantastic

    Sion2020-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • Sue's place is very well placed for access to the M6 and was ideal to break my journey from the east coast to the west side of England. Sue is very helpful and her house was exactly what I wanted for a one night stay at a very good price - clean, warm and comfortable. Found a little difficulty in finding the house, primarily because there were cars parked in front of the road sign and Google Maps caused me to look on the wrong side of the road but Sue and her house mate came to flag me down outside and suggested where I parked so no problem at all!

    Gill2020-01-08T00:00:00Z
  • Characterful, period property. Susan was a thoughtful and friendly host. Good kitchen / diner.

The Annex has tea and coffee facilities, a fridge, microwave and toaster. There is a well stocked shop 50 yards away, including baked goods. Guests can enjoy an optional Full English Breakfast at Shepherds Row for an additional charge - just speak to us the night before.
West Haddon is a village in rural Northamptonshire, surrounded by lovely countryside but only 5 minutes or so from the M1 and A14. Larger than average for a single, this cute, warm clean room faces south over a little orchard and sunny deck. This peaceful room is ideal for a comfortable stay close to Rugby but with all the charm of a rural village. Ideal for Wolf Runners as we’re less than a mile from Stanford Hall as well as all the other events held at Stanford. Our home is located in a private cul de sac, with easy access to Rugby, Magna Park and Lutterworth. Our local provides lovely meals and a warm welcome too.
The property backs onto fields so you are welcome to bring boots and do some hiking. The village pub is very welcoming and as well as doing a range of home cooked meals, Brian will box you up a pizza, (or any other food you buy) sell you a coffee, or a hot choc: have sport on the TV and give advice, loan you a book and make you welcome.
My home is in a rural village close to the A5/M1/M6. It is famous for being the home of the first flight by Percy Pilcher who flew himself from Stanford Hall on a wing, not unlike a hangglider. I am afraid he didn't get very far as the monument close to the Hall shows. There is a replica of Percy's Flying Machine at the museum at Stanford Hall ( a very small museum!). The pub here is The Chequers and offers a good social hub - but apart from that you are only 4 miles maximum from Rugby and Lutterworth (where the jet engine was invented). The gorgeous Kilworth House Hotel with it's famous open air theatre is 5 miles away, and perfect for afternoon tea in a truly elegant venue. Kilworth Springs and Lutterworth both have golf courses, and there is the famous Foxton Locks about 8 miles from the village. Rugby and Lutterworth have a range of stores and shops and Rugby has the internationally acclaimed Rugby Hall of Fame based in the town. Wolf Runners, Rugby fans, VW owners and Mini lovers come to the village regularly for events at Stanford Hall.

  • Wonderful little escape. Lovely sense of 'middle-of-nowhere' within a unique little piece of land. Everything we needed was available in the cabin, and the surroundings were just what we required. We plan to return.

    Paul2019-11-01T00:00:00Z
  • Craig’s place was absolutely perfect for our family! From beginning to end, Craig was very quick and easy to communicate with. The directions to his place were spot on. We came without a car and it was very easy to get a taxi from the train station to his property. The cabin itself was cosy and clean with very comfortable beds and sofas. We spent most of our time on the property so that our small children could play outside. The pigs and the dogs were an absolute hit with our toddler. She looked forward to helping feed the pigs in the evenings. We enjoyed walking along the tow path. 20 minutes to the left is a fabulous pub, The Heart of England, 30 minutes to the right is Heart of the Shires shopping village. We wanted to stay somewhere where the kids could play outside and we could take nice walks... Craig’s place ticked all the boxes for us. We would definitely stay again!

    Krista2019-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • We don’t often return to the same place twice but the kids were keen to come back to Meadow View after great memories a couple of years ago. We had another relaxing stay.

  • A great place to stay in a handy location. Stuart has thought of everything and I’d happily stay here again.

  • We stayed only one night at this delightful space as we were in Crick for a big family party, but wished we could have stayed longer. It is even roomier than it looks in the pictures - plenty of room to spread out. It is spotlessly clean, and has excellent wifi, and was just the right temperature. We all slept very well - even my dad on the sofa bed. In the morning we walked up to the wheatsheaf pub for breakfast- great omelettes and scrambled eggs, as well as a generous full vegetarian breakfast. It’s a lovely village, and Stuart is an excellent host.

  • Susan’s place is amazing, so much attention to detail & to top it off a super attentive host !

  • Susan is a wonderful host. All communication is so thorough, you won't have any questions left unanswered. Always on hand for anything and messages you back straight away. Perfect host! Ton welcomed us into The Loft and showed us around, such a friendly and warm gentleman - giving our stay the perfect start. The Loft - is just so stunning! The pictures are gorgeous but in reality it is so much better. The views are gorgeous! The apartment itself is impressively carbon neutral and has everything you need any more. It's super clean, spacious, warm and the technology is amazing. We really appreciated the little touches that shows how much thought has gone into providing a great experience. We had chocolates beside each bed, bread milk jams cereals for breakfast, wellies in various sizes for walks around the estate, Amazon music, Netflix, Nespresso machine + pods & milk frother, Rituals toiletries, popcorn machine. Thanks to Susan we were equipped with everything we needed to have an absolutely wonderful few days away. I can't wait to come back and even visit some of her other homes! Returning home today so so so happy - thank you!!

  • Beautiful property with every need of the guest thought of and more. Susan responds immediately to any questions and is very helpful. Certainly somewhere I would not hesitate to return to

  • Susan's place in the heart of the Northamptonshire countryside was perfect for our family Christmas get-away. The location is idyllic and the property was amazing in every way. Susan is a fantastically considerate host and went out of her way to accommodate us. Thank you Susan. Simply 5 stars. We hope to stay with you again soon.

  • Anyone lucky enough to stay here will not be disappointed. This property is exceptional. It is beautifully furnished, situated in wonderful countryside and has everything you need in it and more. The host Susan, is super helpful, friendly and responded to questions very quickly. I cannot recommend a stay at this property enough.

    Jess2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • This place is second to none. If you are coming with children then this is the place for you. Having two children under the age of 2, you would think staying anywhere else would be a nightmare. Not here at The Loft. Susan ensured that everything was baby proof which meant our toddler could run around without any issues. The little touches such as sweets, a loaded tea/coffee station, popcorn at the ready and more really made this place feel above and beyond what you think an Airbnb would be. Stunning location in the countryside, secluded but not far away from civilisation once you hop in the car. The place was spotless and everything truly exceeded our expectations.

  • Booked the Loft as a last minute getaway and couldn’t have been happier with the choice! Really stylish, well designed accommodation, with some really thoughtful touches from the hosts to welcome us and make our stay more enjoyable. Lovely location to chill and relax and enjoy the countryside. Definitely be back in the Summer. Book if you get the chance.

  • Thank you for such a wonderful stay, Susan! The Loft is truly beautiful and so elegant whilst still being fantastically homely. I did not want to leave! Cannot wait to be back!

This 19th century village property is welcoming and full of character. The ground floor offers a single bedroom and twin/double room, both rooms have a sharing toilet and shower room, separate to the rest of the property. It offers its own sofa-lounge area with tv to share between these 2 rooms. The 3rd room is family size room located on the 3rd floor and equipped with a luxury kingsize bed and the option of 2 extra single beds to accommodate families where needed, with TV and shared bathroom.
This property is at the heart of the Village and within a stones throw to the local public house. There are plenty of fields and bridal paths for hikes and adventures that you can enjoy. The property has plenty of street parking for guests to use. I also offer a fully functional kitchen and facilities that all guests are welcome to use as they please.
Susan’s place is located in Swinford, England, United Kingdom.
  • Fantastic place and really quite. Has everything youd want *****

    Sonny2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • The house was easy to find. It is in a nice quiet location with only a 4 mile drive to either the Rugby retail outlet or major supermarkets. Susan gave a very warm welcome and made sure I felt at home on arrival.

  • Susan is a friendly and helpful host. We loved our stay in Swinford. The accommodation was spacious for 3 adults and met all our needs.

  • Sue is an amazing host, she made us feel like that we were part of the family! The room is spacious, clean and tidy. The space that accompanies the room, is excellent and the layout is brilliant. It's also really close to Stanford Hall, ideal if you're going to an event like I was. Highly recommend!

  • Great place to relax and unwind for the weekend! Angela and her family were very welcoming, loved the little touches including fresh milk waiting for us on arrival for a much needed cuppa! Certainly recommend to anyone who loves to relax with some fabulous scenic country walks.

    Elaine2019-04-21T00:00:00Z
  • Lovingly restored cottages, renovated to a very high standard, with lots of nice touches like under-floor heating and modern furnishings whilst still retaining the original farmhouse feel. Angela is a first-class host, providing a warm and friendly welcome and going to great lengths to make sure that I had a comfortable stay. When I told her my son was coming to visit for the evening, she even brought in a spare mattress so that he could stay overnight. I felt very well looked after and would definitely return here again.

    Murray2019-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • An attractive, well appointed cottage surrounded by pretty countryside with lovely walks from the farm. A great place for fresh air and relaxation.

    Pamela2018-11-09T00:00:00Z
  • Very modern cottage in a quiet location with plenty of walking paths. Angela is a wonderful host. Highly recommended for those seeking natural yet modern experience on a farm or for those like us that were waiting for a new build home. Very tasteful place. We were glad to stay there for 4 weeks. Felt like home.

    Maciej2018-03-23T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed at Angela's property for a whole month (Nov 2017) whilst on a work project in the Daventry area. In short it was excellent. For those who want a longer review read on..... This was the first time I had used AirBnB so I wasn't sure what to expect. I needn't have worried. Angela was communicative from the onset (fast with responses too) Everything was as described/expected .... if not better. The location is in the quiet countryside, but you're only 15 minutes from the A14 or M1 or Daventry. There are nice local villages nearby (2 miles each way)with amenities and there is major shopping (eg Tesco superstore) in Daventry. The countryside is beautiful. I'm a big runner and there are some great cross country runs 5-15km. If you're a walker, this applies too of course. Be warned, Northamptonshire is hillier than you may think! Naseby (civil war site) is a few minutes away by car, along with the pretty market town of Market Harborough. The property I stayed is was fabulous (Austin - 1 bed) Newly renovated, with underfloor heating, modern fitted (induction) kitchen, good sized double bedroom and large walk in shower .... enough room for two ;) Parking is plentiful and within 50m of the properties. It is well off road, but solid gravel underfoot. Angela has done everything to a high standard, so you have nothing to worry about. Angela was kind enough to allow me to store my bikes and bike rack in a locked farm outbuilding. There is a laundry room with two new washers and two new dryers. I understand there are 7 properties available of various sizes. All surrounding a small courtyard. Although all properties were full at the time of my visit I wasn't really conscious of the fact (it was quite peaceful) although maybe in the summer more people would be out on their patio areas in the evening. There are a few clucking hens strutting around who will sell you their freshly laid eggs at a £1 per half dozen (highly recommended) I'm a single dad (14 year old daughter) and am sure that kids would love this location. I understand that dogs are welcome too. There is high speed WiFi and a good flat screen TV. Angela cleaned the "cottage" weekly on a Friday and changed bedding and towels. Angela's style is very laid back. She visibly works like a Trojan and is on site most of the time, but leaves people to their own devices until she is needed. All in all, it was a lovely place to stay. A month in a hotel would have sent me mad. It was more competitive than a hotel and allowed more flexibility (to eat/dine and live as you please.

Recently converted barn annexe, with own parking and amenities. Cosy and comfortable space, quiet location with great walks and good pubs on the doorstep.
The Annexe is a private space, newly furnished and converted, underfloor heating, plenty of natural light from the skylight with remote control blind control, wifi and a fixed ladder to the mezzanine and the double bed. Not suitable for children, or those who aren't keen on climbing a ladder to bed.
The Althorp estate wraps around the village and the surrounding fields have plenty of walks in beautiful scenery. The local pubs are great for food and welcoming, however the motorway is only 6 miles away so although remote and picturesque only a short drive to major routes.
  • Very nice place to stay, would defiantly stay again!!

Quiet, good sized room on first floor in a large barn conversion paddock building. Guests will have secure, off road parking in a quiet location. There are 3 Bathrooms in the property with one next door to this room. Hosts have been on Airbnb for over 5 years and look forward to meeting new guests.

  • What a great find you couldn't ask for any more, the house is out in the countryside so it's quiet and peaceful on a night but just a couple of miles from the m1 so commuting to work is easy, it's a lovely clean house with very comfortable beds and a great bathroom with a nice big bath and shower, Richard and chloe are really nice and know the area well should you need a takeaway or anything so if you're working away and you want a nice quiet place to stay where you can get back from work have a hot bath and a bit crack with some nice people and a good night's sleep in a comfy bed you've found it!

  • We stayed here for about a month, and really enjoyed it! Shawell is a nice little village, and it was a perfect location for us as our friends live there (and now a lot of new friends also!). It's also easy enough to drive into Lutterworth, Rugby, or Market Harborough for shopping and restaurants. But also great being able to walk to the White Swan for a pint or a nice dinner. We liked the place itself as well. The under-floor heat upstairs made the lounge nice and cozy in the cold January weather. We appreciated having breakfast food to get us started when we arrived, and we were glad to have the cookware and dishes we needed to be able to make our own meals most of the time. The internet was good enough for my remote work, though not quite good enough for video conference calls (but it IS a small village, so not unexpected).

  • Stayed for 3 months while on a work trip in UK. The location was great for me as it was central and easy to get to the M1/M6 and everywhere I needed to go for work. Accommodation was perfect. I had loads of space to spread out and had everything I needed. I would definitely recommend!

  • Fantastic cosy place with great hosts. Very tranquil, relaxing and so quite. Really loved staying there and will be back.

  • An excellent place to stay. A lovely venue, with darker skies and loads more stars than we ( as townies) usually see. The ability to come and go independently was a great freedom, the local pub was an excellent recommendation from our Host for food, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The make-your-own breakfast was cereal and/or toast with good quality ingredients, and suited us just fine. The room was lovely and warm, and the large shower- room and loo were spotless and stylish. The location was a rural delight yet very close to the M1/M6 junction so road transport links are excellent.

  • We had the very best time staying in this gorgeous place. Such a great location and very thoughtfully furnished room. You don’t want for anything while you stay as everything is covered. Thanks so much - we will be back!

  • Had a fantastic stay at this lovely family home. I didn’t want for anything whilst I was there. Very reasonably priced and quick communication from Claire. The bed is incredibly comfy and I had the best nights sleep I’d had in months. Views are lovely and no noise. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again, or recommend this lovely place.

  • Had a great stay at Claire's, everything was great and it was good to have our own entrance to come and go as we pleased. Beautiful surroundings, and she was even able to accommodate an earlier check-in. Many thanks

  • Lovely location. Great views. Very clean. Nice and quiet

    Jayne2019-11-29T00:00:00Z
  • We had a really good stay. We would always recommend your place. We liked the peacefulness and the sound of the chickens in the morning. Good pub nearby next to the canal. Good food and atmosphere. We walked back in the rain, took us roughly 15 mins. We recommend to take a head torch, it all added to the fun.

The room has a comfortable double bed, and is light and airy with view across fields. It's a short 15/20 min walk to the train station, 5 mins from the village amenities: shops, pubs and restaurants. Good transport links close by with the M1 just 10 mins away Parking at peak times directly outside the property can be tricky so sometimes guests have to park at the end of the street. I share my home with a cat and a dog who are both friendly and quiet.
Visitors have all commented on the friendly and welcoming vibe the house has, and I certainly aim to offer people a space they can comfortably use. There is a small WC next to the guest room, and the shower is located in the main bathroom which is downstairs. The house is shared with my my cat, Missy, and my dog, Betsy. Both are friendly and quiet and can be kept away from guests if desired.
  • Great host, very helpful, clean and tidy room comfortable bed, would stay again if working in the area

  • We stayed at Sian’s for 1 night to attend a nearby wedding. We couldn’t have asked for better accommodation and host for our short visit. The room was very comfortable, while the house perfectly located, quiet and Sian made us feel very at home. Thoroughly recommend a stay at Sian’s.
