    Quiet area and roomy space
There are friendly people all around in this neighborhood
  • Christopher’s place was super comfortable. At first I thought I may have been invading his home, but honestly his mom was very kind and gave me a home-like feeling. The room and bed was super comfy. Chris was so accommodating to my needs. You can tell he has a good spirit. I would definitely stay here again.

Comfy leather queen bed with hardwood floors, desk/chair & clothes rack. Free umbrellas, free printing, free bikes, free day storage for guests! 2 minutes walk to restaurants, bars and Yale, free basic bicycles available to guests, free washer dryer with free laundry detergents, high speed wifi. Pls read check-in instructions once you've booked. House has foolproof security system/codes & security cameras. Pls be advised that there is no air conditioning. Window fans with screens are provided. Parking is free, openly available outside house on street.
Note: Lilly Pad has 5 rooms, is for students and is no frills. If you are a party of 2, select 2 guests. So you share common space with others. Plus we have 7 Bengal Cats and their kittens that live outside the house in their own housing chambers but you will see their supplies around the back or front yard. Other student guests staying here may make your stay good, great or not so good. It depends who books. So if you are not a student, or have a problem putting on your own bedsheets, or stripping them at checkout, or have a problem with students storing their luggage or me crashing out in living room at times, or have any issues with the detailed instructions I send after you book, talk to me first or do not book. I do not want a 4 star review because you were not made aware of what to expect here. Skip the review or please do not book if your expectations are different. Check in anytime. Just follow self checkin process. Any questions or anything pls feel free to call or text. We have lot of guests and its difficult to manage expectations especially for non yalie visitors as house is really geared for no frill Yalies. Cosy, ideal for Yale visitors. The room is part of a victorian home that has been a welcoming spot for Yalies for last 4 years. It is not a hotel. It is a lived-in space and has many visitors. Therefore if you are expecting a hotel, this is not it. Cleanliness and organization is important for me the host and I hope it is important to you as well but please keep in mind sometimes because of people checking in, checking out, cooking, studying, typing, printing assignments, house gives a "lived-in" look. Price is lower than what comparable homes ask for on Airbnb. Amenities and proximity to Yale is comparable if not better than a lot, if not most, of the options on Airbnb. But if you are for immaculate cleanliness a hotel is probably a better option (at three times the price in downtown New Haven). Also note, when in town, I often end up crashing out in the living room couch - full disclosure. House has a lived-in look. You will see residents luggage in living room or people coming in and out. Noise: There may be 3 potential sources of noise. (1) Street people and downtown cars playing loud music. There is nothing that can be done about this. It comes with living downtown close to Yale. (2) Next door neighbors playing music. There is a New Haven City Ordinance that requires peace and quiet after 9 pm. If you encounter annoying music played by neighbors, read my printed instructions regarding making a noise complaint with the New Haven police printed in the hallway/stairs and make the complaint call. (3) Other Guests talking loudly in the house. Remember you are one of the several guests staying. So if someone talks loudly and you find it disturbing, please either tell me or talk to the loud guest and let him/her know to keep it down. These things are beyond my control, as I have open booking on Air BnB. Therefore do not book if you expect a library environment. I don't need a 4 star review based on sounds that are not in my control. Note on Clutter: Free Storage provided to guests on main floor adds to the clutter. Additionally there is always some element of improvements taking place on premises. This place is for Yale students and no frills travelers who are looking for budget and safe travel options at Yale. There is no clutter on 2nd and 3rd floors, where the rooms are located. Also, if instructions on self checkin scare you, please do not book. Watch the self checkin video. Security and guidelines help all. Hence the elaborate instructions you get when you book. Cameras & Security at Yale: Please note Yale has iffy neighborhoods. I have EXTERNAL security cameras. So if you have an issue with external security cameras, pls do not book. Specifically, 2 EXTERNAL security cameras (in front and back of house), a Security System with motion sensor on ground floor. No sensors/cameras on 2nd/3rd floors.
5 minutes walk to Old Yale Campus. 2nd house from Elm Street. Step out of Lilly Pad. Make right on Elm. You will be at Yale in 5 minutes. Step out of Lilly Pad. Make left on Elm, grocery superstore Stopnshop is 30 seconds walk.
  • This place is just a stones throw from all the major landmarks in downtown. Excellent place for students and job traveller's. I came here and stayed for a week and Aly is a great human being who will talk to you as if he knows you from ages. Great experience. His instructions are mind blowing in airbnb.

    Satish2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful and quaint New England house with a kind, accommodating, and welcoming host. The walk to Yale and downtown New Haven is easy and short, and the security of the house made me (a single woman traveling alone) feel very safe and comfortable. The house is laid out similarly a very nice student hostel, with common areas and bathrooms, but private and secure rooms for individual guests, each with a name, theme, comfortable beds and ample storage. There is access to laundry/iron, kitchen, and living spaces, great internet, and Aly was kind enough to let me use the printer as well. The posting is honest about it being a shared home with no frills, so don’t expect a pristine and untouched 5star hotel, but a well-loved and lived in space that is safe, comfortable, and budget-friendly. I don’t normally leave reviews but really enjoyed my experience and hope to come back on my next trip to New Haven!

  • Convenient location

    Shayne2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Though it is no-frills, it was easy to find what you needed as everything is spelled out for you. The room was nice and warm. Comfy bed. Lived-in but really clean. Checking in and out was a breeze. Aly was very responsive. Yale within walking distance.

    Justin2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • I def recommend Aly's place! It is perfect for a short stay. Probably one of the closest Airbnb to the university. The toilets were clean and Aly is a quick responder. The place includes a massive amount of security protections, such as cameras and walk-in codes, which some people might find intimidating, but I've found restful.

Big house in a nice quite neighbor. With an affordable price, you can stay, and having your own bedroom, treated like your own place.
Fresh, clean bedding, blankets, and towels are provided for each new guest.
There are lots of Chinese Buffet around our place. One in the Milford mall. From our house to Milford mall, it take about 5minutes to drive. Walmart, Best buy, Costco and Shop rite near by too.
  • Great stay!

Downtown loft apartment in the heart of downtown New Haven and blocks from the Omni Hotel. Enjoy a show or have a drink - this beautiful loft is in the heart of it all.
The space seeks to meld technology and comfort. From Alexa-controlled gadgets to over-sized pillows, the environment is perfect for the out of town commuter to a student on an interview.
Downtown New Haven is the neighborhood located in the heart of the city of New Haven, Connecticut. It is made up of the original nine squares laid out in 1638 to form New Haven, including the New Haven Green, and the immediate surrounding central business district, as well as a significant portion of the Yale University campus. The area includes many restaurants, cafes, theaters and stores. The area bounded by Chapel and Crown Streets is a popular stretch of restaurants, boutiques and bars located across from the Old Campus of Yale University. Includes such historic establishments as Union League Cafe and the c. 1934 Owl Shop cigar lounge. The Anchor Bar, notable for its Art Moderne style and popularity with playwright Thornton Wilder, operated on College Street from the 1940s until 2015. The area is largely coterminous with the Chapel Street Historic District. Notable buildings include the Hotel Taft and the Chapel Square Mall. The Yale University Art Gallery and Yale Center for British Art are also located here.

  • Great place and an amazing host. Close to great restaurants, the Yale campus, and the museum.

    Gonzalo2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Andre's place was perfect for my husband and I to spend the night after a show at the College Street Music Hall. The location could not have been better - just a couple blocks from the Crowne St Garage, the Music Hall, and tons of restaurants and bars (we had a delicious meal and margaritas at Geronimo's). The king size bed was very comfy, and the whole place was very modern and clean. We'll definitely keep it in mind the next time we catch a show in New Haven!

    Becca2020-02-08T00:00:00Z

This is an attic loft (room) with 2 beds and recently updated hardwood floors (even though pic shows carpet). You rent the whole room. Due to viral issues in the world, we have taken the upmost precautions to sanitize professionally. Welcome to the best of New Haven! Comfortable, modern, clean, sun-filled loft overlooking the Wooster Square Green.Intentionally designed and well-equipped above and beyond. Located on the famous Court Street, everything is just a short walk away. 2 blocks from Wooster Street (best pizza in the world), 10 minute walk to downtown New Haven, Yale, restaurants, bars, train station, and art museums.
Our loft is created for comfort and functionality with extreme attention to detail. Enjoy wifi, Netflix, and bluetooth compatibility as you relax on a day off. The sofa bed offers an incredible queen memory foam mattress for extra guests. Need to work? Utilize the desk space and USB charging stations througout the apartment. Make some coffee or a cup of tea on us, grab a book and curl up on the couch, or simply bask culture of Court Street on our porch. This loft has it all.
New Haven's Court street is like it's "own little town". What makes the Court Street rowhouses delightful for urban dwellers is their repetitively residential nature with stair-accessed stoops and small-scale detailing amid the city hubbub. The loft is located in one of the few houses overlooking Wooster Square. It's quiet, safe, packed with culture and food, and best of all - just minutes to everything.
  • Amongst the best I’ve stayed in and I’ve stayed in a a lot. Very cozy and stylish.

  • This space is gorgeous and very welcoming. You'll want to hang out in this huge space and relax. It's a quick walk to pizza places, so you can easily be in line early. The wine bottle when you arrive is a nice touch. Easy in and out, great communication. I would definitely stay again. Thanks!

    Gina2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Alex and Josh's place is beautiful, bright, and clean. The neighborhood is very quiet, and it's close to everything.

    Chendra2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Alex and Josh are consummate hosts—responsive and caring. They make one feel like a welcome guest, not a customer. The loft is an airy, sun-filled, unique space, a sparkling clean, modern nest atop a gorgeous 1880s mansion. Large and small needs are thoughtfully anticipated. Keyless entry makes arrival and departure easy, and the location can’t be beat.

Blocks from downtown New Haven, the private apartment is simple, no frills place for you to crash for the night. It has a refrigerator, oven, small coffee maker, a window ac, a box fan, a queen bed with an additional twin cot, a sofa, a chair, a small dinette, one towel is provided for each guest. This is a private apartment in a home with other apartments as well. It is close to downtown so there is downtown noise. Let us know if you have questions and look forward to having you there!
The Oak Suite is a private apartment close to downtown with original wood floors, windows that let a lot of sunshine in, your own private kitchen and bathroom, a dinette, sofa and closet. Please note that it is in an old house in a somewhat urban/residential area of New Haven. Some see the photos and think it is a spa experience or something. It is not. It is a crashpad. Think crashpad. It's a rough and ready place to stay. You need to understand this. If you do, then happy to have you!
The neighborhood is residential, but very close to downtown New Haven. New Haven is known as the "mini New York." We have a wide variety of people from all walks of life. When I first moved here from South Dakota, I felt this was a rough area, but then, after a few trips to New York, I feel it is a nice area. So it's really very much on your perspective. You will note that New Haven has a lot of homeless people. There is a long historical/political discussion as to why they are there, however, the majority of the concentration is downtown. They also drift to the rest of New Haven as well - should one ask for money, it is not advisable too do that as there are many programs, food, etc for them and any money given is typically used for things that are not what they say it is for. It may be different in other cities, however, in New Haven, this is something to be aware of. The Oak Suite Apartment is right where it starts turning from downtown to residential. However, because it is close to downtown, there is still a lot of people and noise.
  • Great stay. Naomi's place matches the description perfectly. No frills but just what we needed for a night out in New Haven.

    Ben2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • The perfect crash pad. Great location, super clean, and Naomi was such a gem. It was my first time booking an Airbnb on my own and she was incredible answering all my questions.

    Jennifer2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • This is a nice place. Cozy. But is exactly as advertised. Overall a nice place to stay at an affordable price. Great location. Easy access to the rest of the town by foot or car depending on how much you like to walk. A good value for the money.

    David2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • It was as described! Great crash pad for the value.

    Meghan2020-01-08T00:00:00Z

    James2019-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • Loved the antique charm of this unit. It was the perfect place to lay our heads after a long day and the perfect jumping off point to explore New Haven. Basic accommodations reminded me of crashing at a friends place vs a hotel. Though old, it felt pretty darn clean compared to the last couple places we've stayed on this trip. We were expecting the road noise, it's on a pretty busy street near a hospital, but still got a good nights sleep. If you're around on a sunny afternoon the light that comes in the windows is amazing.

Blocks from downtown New Haven, the nutmeg room crashpad is a private room in a 3 bedroom apartment used solely for Air bnb. The Colonial Room crashpad is right where downtown starts becoming residential, however, because it's so close, there's still lots of people and noise. New Haven is known as the "mini New York" and there is a wide variety of people, places, and things to do. We hope you enjoy your stay here and welcome to New Haven!

This room is in one of the most up and coming neighborhoods in New Haven, close to downtown, and some of the highest safety ratings in the city.
  • This really is perfect if you are going to be out and about, but its a comfortable place to sleep, clean and feels secure. The room is very basic with a bed, chair, side table and closet. Easy to get to and down town New Haven is easily accessible!

  • The Nutmeg Room is a great place to crash when you’re on the go. The bed was comfy and the area is quiet and safe. Not a ton of plush decorations but clean and functional. There was even space in the common area to do yoga in. Highly recommend for a value hunter!

  • I stayed at Julia's for five weeks and it was a home away from home. Julia is an exemplary host, who really meant it when she said, "Make yourself at home." I strongly recommend her place to anyone looking for somewhere for an extended stay in New Haven. Her house is within easy reach of Downtown, even if you don't have a car: buses run fairly regularly from outside her house or a ten-minute walk away at the top of the street. Her kitchen is really well-equipped, and completely at your disposal, so catering for yourself is totally feasible (key tip: the nearest supermarkets are just a single bus ride away, either Elm City Market in Downtown or the Stop & Shop off Whalley Avenue (for the more budget option)). I really appreciated how Julia encouraged me to make full use of the place: whether cooking in the kitchen, working at the dining room table, reading or watching tv in the living room, or using the downstairs bathroom. The room I stayed in is at the back of the house, overlooking the yard, and is nice and quiet; virtually no traffic noise and perfectly private.

    James2020-01-08T00:00:00Z
  • Julia and Peter are the best hosts one can ask for! They were extremely generous and friendly and staying at their beautiful house was simply great. You will find everything you need, the room is nice, the bed very comfortable, the kitchen kitchen equipped with all you might need and if you fancy a walk by the sea, that is just minutes away.

    Anna2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • What a beautiful home! The house may be older, but the interior is very well designed and decorated. The downstairs bathroom is so fun. The host is very responsive and friendly. I would definitely stay here again. The two cats are extremely well-behaved.

Everything was perfect prepared, communication was pretty friendly / uncomplicated and I got very detailed check-in instructions. The private room faces the back garden and forest. The mattress is super comfortable - just perfect. The house is in the victorian style with two working fireplaces, a large solarium full of lush plants. There is also a large living room w several seating nooks and a soon to be library with additional seating. There is a cat, named puppy who you probably won’t even see and a tortoise named tank. The house is close to all the area hospitals, literally down the street from Hopkins school

There was a miscommunication about one of the amenities and the hosts worked with me. Very kind and communicative. This neighborhood, as well as home is VERY quiet. I got in about 9 PM the first night. Other guests were here but you could hear a pin drop. I was almost afraid to sneeze. Lol. Blocks from downtown New Haven, the pine room crashpad is a private room in a 3 bedroom apartment used solely for Air bnb. The Pine Room is not luxury, it is a crashpad right where downtown starts becoming residential, there's still lots of people and noise because it's still close to downtown. New Haven is known as the "mini New York" and there is a wide variety of people, places, and things to do. We hope you enjoy your stay here and welcome to New Haven!
    It's pretty simple, basic.
The neighborhood is residential, but very close to downtown. There are a variety of people there from all backgrounds. This room is in one of the most up and coming neighborhoods in New Haven, close to downtown, and some of the highest safety ratings in the city.
  • Exactly as described. Felt safe and perfect location since I was visiting Yale’s hospital. Seamless check in process. Quick responses from host. Unbeatable value. Would recommend for crash pad. Definitely would book this again.

    Robert2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Naomi responded promptly whenever I had questions. I recommend!!?

    Michael2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Was in town for one night and needed to be close to the Yale New Haven Hospital. This was a great little spot within 10-15min walk or 3min drive to the hospital.

    Erick2020-02-01T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to crash, no matter if you stay for a night or a month. Naomi and her co-hosts were super friendly. 10 minute walk to downtown or the med school from where the Yale shuttle will take you anywhere.

    Hannes2019-11-30T00:00:00Z
  • Great location and place to stay if your looking for something close to downtown! Choose to stay long term and had no issues living here. The description is accurate and I have no complaints! Would stay again!

We loved our stay at his place and will definitely stay again. It was clean, cozy and inviting and very conveniently located to Yale. We had enough space to cook and host a lovely dinner for our daughter and son-in-law to be who live at Yale as well as my parents, my husband, and daughter. I would highly suggest staying at Kristap's place!

Private room located in the Wooster Square area, downtown, very close to Yale, in a safe neighborhood. The bed is new and a very comfy memory foam bed. The room overlooks Wooster Park, with two big windows. You have access to free WIFI, a full kitchen, and a living room with a couch, and a closet in your bedroom
This is no frills. A new single bed, clean sheets, a bathroom that gets cleaned every day and very close to the downtown and Yale. Very safe neighborhood, in the heart of Wooster Square, near the famous New Haven pizza restaurants. Two other rooms in the building, both airbnb guests, most people are students coming to Yale for interviews or visits. Please note that this bedroom is very small. There is a small closet located in your bedroom with hangers.
very old Italian neighborhood, with many students and families

  • Room is close to Yale, check-in was easy via lock box. For the price it was what I expected—cheapest room available on airbnb. Towel and sheets were clean😀. There is no a/c, but there’s a small fan. Bed is on a stand that may be precarious for an overweight person, but fine otherwise. The knob for hot water is missing in the shower, but you can still twist it with your hand. Overall, you get what you pay for. I think the price is fair considering its location. Good for a short no-frills stay.

A renovated second floor apartment in West Haven located a few minutes away from downtown New Haven (10 minutes from Yale!) and 6 minutes from the University of New Haven. This apartment is about 2 miles from the West Haven beach and ~10 minutes away from the West Haven train station--a very convenient spot for all of folks visiting New Haven County!
The apartment is surrounded by A LOT of windows which allows a lot of natural light to come into the space. It's very cozy and a great fit for a group of 2-4 people. The large bedroom off the gorgeous kitchen has a queen mattress and is big enough to accommodate the queen air mattress.
This is the perfect spot if you're looking to travel into New Haven, but not be right in the middle of it. You'll be 2 miles away from the beach- you literally can run there! The neighborhood is in the middle of a transformation and a new development (a high-end plaza) is set to begin construction in June 2019. The apartment is above of a family owned restaurant called Charcoal Chicken that's been there for 26 years, a Rite Aid and gas station across the street, along with a small plaza a few blocks down which includes a laundry mat, liquor store, Chinese takeout and more.
  • Adorable place. Good location. No hassle on check-in or check out. All around great experience with no issues.

  • The place was accurately described and located. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you get. A cozy and homey apartment just a few minutes Uber ride to New Haven and Yale university. There’s a Rite Aid pharmacy across the street that was convenient as well as restaurants, convenience stores and laundromat. The hosts Mercy and Michelle were always quick to reply. Check in using the lock box was simple and effective. I would book here again should I need to visit Yale university again. Good value for money.

This apartment is next to another Airbnb apartment above a family owned restaurant. It has two bedrooms, one bathroom and there is a small kitchen in the middle of both bedrooms. The apartment also has a washer and dryer. It's a very cozy space.
You can park on the street (just not directly in front of the restaurant during business hours Wed-Mon 11:30AM-9PM) but you can park in front of the houses etc. We also have private off street parking across the street next to Rite Aid on the right below the billboard ads which is first come, first serve.

  • Mercy’s apartment is a great place to stay. Beautifully decorated and comfortable with everything you need and more. Conveniently located near Rite Aid and restaurants - it was perfect for us!

Private room located in Wooster Square. This room will be available as long as Airbnb continues to operate during the pandemic. Extra cleaning is done in your room. Your room will be vacant for at least 3 days before you arrive. The bathroom is shared. It is recommended that you use the Clorox based spray bottles in the bathroom prior to your use of the bathroom. Please save my phone number 2035723888 after you book, if Airbnb shuts down you will not have access to the Airbnb website
This is no frills. A new bed, clean sheets, a bathroom that gets cleaned every day and very close to the downtown and Yale. Very safe neighborhood, in the heart of Wooster Square, near the famous New Haven pizza restaurants
very old neighborhood of families and students
  • This place is a basically the same as advertised. 10 min walk to downtown. Clean neighborhood. Free parking in back, and wi-fi. No frills, but a great place to lay your bags down and sleep, if you don’t plan on spending all day in your room during your visit.

    Jay2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Good place, walkable to Yale campus/downtown. There is a space where the wall has gaps at the top and bottom, so not the most private/sound proof room, but other than that a good option for visiting new haven.

    Ethan2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • Another great stay at Rose’s place. Thanks again :)

    Steven2020-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • About what I expected from the description! No complaints, had a good time in New Haven on a budget.

    Elaine2020-01-15T00:00:00Z
  • The place is just as described, and well worth the value for the money. Clean, and a really convenient location for those who have obligations around Yale and its affiliated locations. Rose was very on top of all communications, and the check in process was smooth, easy, and everything was just as described. Would recommend for a pleasant stay.

  • My second time staying here. Very convenient, very good value.

    David2020-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • Exactly as advertised--very simple and utilitarian room. I was glad to find it and had a good, productive weekend. WiFi worked great. Parking was no problem. The accommodations might not be for everybody, but for anyone looking for a safe and easy room on a budget, this would be ideal. Close to downtown, and also close to the pizza places on Wooster Street. I didn't use the kitchen while I was there, but it was good to know that it was an option.

    Ken2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • A very basic room with a decent bed, good heat and great hot water in the shared bath. In return for the "basicness," you receive an excellent value in New Haven and can walk in about 15 minutes to the downtown area.

Charming home built in 1916 with lots of updates features. The house is located less than 10 mins to most of downtown New Haven. Walking distance to Hopkins School and Yale Fields. The home includes the following for guests: Wi-Fi One private bath One shared bath Shared kitchen and dining area. Completely private 3rd floor apartment There is a microwave and mini fridge in the living room of the apartment for quick easy meals. Light noise from passing cars can be heard in the bedroom.
The house is very tranquil with lots of areas to relax and enjoy the views of the woods in the back and sides of the property. We are constantly updating and working on home improvement to make the space the best it can be for guests. It is a very private house as we are barely ever there. The house is shared with other guests on the second floor but the third floor is a private apartment accessed through the second floor. The kitchen in the house is shared by all as well as all ground floor rooms. Most all guests are traveling nurses at Yale university hospital but occasionally a student or professional. We vet all our guests and give as much information about who they will be living with in the home to make their stays as comfortable as possible.
We are 5 min walk to a gas station and a pizza/sub restaurantas well as a Japanese restaurant and a liquor store. We are about 10-15 drive to downtown New Haven, New Haven University, Union station, Hopkins School and Yale Campus. We are also a 10 min drive to the Yale Hospital.
  • Ian & Joseph's apartment is a delight. I stayed the first two weeks after moving to NH while I looked for an permanent home. The house is beautiful, the apartment spacious, and Ian and Joseph are very kind and responsive.

    Linnae2019-06-01T00:00:00Z
  • Ian/Joseph’s place was accurately described. We had great conversations with Joanne, Ian’s mom. Ian treated us to beautiful piano playing while we breakfasted. Happy to have mirrors galore as an extra touch. Location was super close to Yale. Would definitely stay again.

  • Exactly what we were looking for! The historic property where this apt. Is located is awesome! I had somewhat of a hard time finding it when we arrived past 8 PM, mostly because of GPS inaccuracy.

  • The apartment was so fantastic and perfect for our stay. We were extremely comfortable and also blown away at how gorgeous the rest of the shared spaces (living room, kitchen, etc.) were. I wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be back next time we are in New Haven!

Updated comfortable room with harwood floors, desk, chair & closet. Free umbrellas, free printing, free bikes, free day storage for guests! 2 minutes walk to restaurants, bars and Yale, free bikes, free washer dryer with free laundry detergents, high speed wifi. Pls read check-in instructions once you have booked. House has foolproof security system/codes & security cameras. Pls be advised that there is no air conditioning. Window fans with screens are provided. Parking is free, openly available outside the house on street. No need for permit.
  • Great place close by the University and hospital

    Diana2019-11-23T00:00:00Z
  • Lots of security and a really great place to crash. Maybe too much security but that’s never a bad thing. Review the security instructions carefully. Many locks and security pads but again not a bad thing. Super close ten min walk to Yale school of art. Parked right out front no problems at all hours. Never saw a person while here but could hear footsteps so privacy is never an issue. Never had an issue using the restroom. Great space would recommend! Bed is a little creaky in ivy room FYI if you move around a lot while sleeping.

Close to downtown New Haven, the cloverleaf crashpad is a private room in a 3 bedroom apartment used for long term guests. The cloverleaf crashpad is in a older colonial style home. Although it is where things start becoming residential, it is still close to downtown, so it still has some of the noise and business of downtown. New Haven is known as the "mini New York" and there is a wide variety of people, places, and things to do. We hope you enjoy your stay here and welcome to New Haven!

The cloverleaf crashpad is in a older colonial style home. Although it is where things start becoming residential, it is still close to downtown, so it still has some of the noise and business of downtown. When I first moved here from South Dakota, I felt this was a rough area, but then, after a few trips to New York, I feel it is a nice area. So it's really very much on your perspective. New Haven is known as the "mini New York" and there is a wide variety of people, places, and things to do. This room is in one of the most up and coming neighborhoods, it’s close to downtown and a lot of variety. We hope you enjoy your stay here and welcome to New Haven!
