Davies Cottage, cosy, comfortable base

A perfect base for exploring the North Wales Coast. A cosy and comfortable place to return to at the end of the day. It has wifi, good quality beds and bedding and a full bathroom, with lots of towels! The Point of Ayr Nature reserve is 5 minutes away, Talacre sand dunes and lighthouse, then Prestatyn further along the coast. Ffynnongroew was a mining village, with 2 pubs a few minutes walk away, along with a take away, Post Office and small convenience store. DOGS ALLOWED, NO CATS.

Our 3 bedroomed house is situated in a semi rural situation, in the historical village of Irby. Here you will find 2 pubs, 2 restaurants, shops and amenities. We are close to a number of beaches including Thurstaston and West Kirby, and are within 300 metres of Thurstaston common which provides wonderful walks through the ancient woods of Roydon Park. Our wonderfully unique tiny home ‘Little Oak’ situated within our acre of woodland and on the edge of the beautiful Heswall Dales nature reserve, it really is a special place and the perfect place to explore our beautiful area with incredible walks on our doorstep. A peaceful retreat in a stunning setting

The views from the apartment are amazing. You are next to the sailing club and near several golf courses . Within walking distance of lots of restaurants and shops. The walks in the area are many and you have direct access to the beach from the garden. Don’t leave your dog at home. I love well-behaved dogs and they will love the beach. The apartment is very quiet being well away from the main road.
