Comfortable and quiet, with thoughtful touches in the room and common areas that make me feel very welcome. Avionda is warm and caring, offering great conversation (when I'm up for it!) and relevant local insights. Highly recommend!! Close to a lot of different activities, food options, even one of the top massage therapy teachers in the country! (Health Enrichment Center in Lapeer)

A very safe location which is so important to me as I travel. The hostess was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I absolutely loved our conversations. I hope for many more. The place was a charming little farm. I felt quite comfortable there.

This play was truly a gem. We were in town for some tragic unforeseen circumstances, and Shawndra and Jason went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. This is by far the cleanest Airbnb we have stayed in. I highly recommend you stay here if you are in the area. They were outstanding hosts, checked in on us often to make sure we did not need anything. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely try to stay here again.

We have booked rentals in the area over the last few years and have never been as satisfied as what our experience was at “A Little Piece of Sandity”. Not only were the accommodations - the colors, the comfort, the calmness - superior, but the graciousness and generosity of the hosts were way beyond expectations. We have had good experiences in the past, but this was the best.

This place is amazing and this is an understatement! It’s clean and has everything you could possibly need for your stay! This was our first air BnB experience and the bar was set very high! We love it so much we are already planning our next trip!

Shawndra’s place was such a beautiful place! The private beach was lovely and the golf cart got us there quickly! Beautiful backyard with a nice fire pit. A perfect place for a relaxing stay in lexington!

This was AMAZING! The views, the seclusion and so cozy. Larry has everything and more ready for you here! Cabin is a PERFECT CABIN, clean rooms and updated bathroom and kitchen. Beach, grill and bonfire area are also great! Larry makes sure you have dry wood just ready and waiting for when you might need it. My family and I had such a great time here! Larry and his wife were very lovely, checked in to make sure we were doing good, and even gave us extra blankets because the weather was a little extra chilly. We all decided to make coming back to this cabin a yearly thing. The view was amazing, we all can’t wait to come back! Thank you so much!!

Cozy cabin with an 'up North' feel! Great space with sizable screened-in porch. Large lawn and a nice short walk to the sandy beach. Our young kids and dogs enjoyed it both inside and out. We enjoyed a nice campfire overlooking Lake Huron every night and a beautiful sunrise each day!

If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you. Most private beach I have ever stayed at. There was no one around. Wonderful!!

This was our 2nd time staying at Larry's cabin, because we had such a great time the first stay. This time was just as great!! The rental is clean, cozy and loaded with just about anything you should need. We enjoyed hanging out right on Lake Huron, sitting on the screened in porch watching the sunrise and sitting out by the fire the most. Lexington is a cute little town and we did a little exploring on this trip---all the food we had in town was great. We would recommend this rental to anyone who wants to unwind and relax. We hope to stay again next year!

This cottage was small but worked out great. Place was very CV clean and had plenty of fans and air conditioner if needed. Property was very nice. Gorgeous view of the lake with beach access. Beach was very nice and clean. We had bonfires every night and a full moon that lit up the lake the first night, followed by 3 orange moons the following 3 days. We were in heaven. Great pictures and a great time. Larry and his wife live next door so they were available if needed and very pleasant.

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay, even in the winter. There were some really great local food spots, and being near the water still offered some bliss. Jessica’s cabin came fully equipped with all our kitchen needs and it was nice to not have WiFi for once! There were plenty of movies offered and the place was remodeled and very nice. If you are looking to get away from work and your busy life, this is definitely a great place to consider!

The cottage was clean, king bed was comfortable and kitchen well stocked. Pictures on line are accurate. The only drawback is not being able to see Lake Huron.

Karl’s place labeled small room with a big view and its photos describe things perfectly. If anything the view should be labeled “Great Big View!” Even through Cabin 8 is small it is packed with all the appliances and amenities needed. Plates cups utensils salt and pepper pots and pans. A mini refrigerator microwave toaster over hair dryer first aid kit and fire extinguisher. Coffee brewer and a two burner hot plate and BBQ for more serious meals. Amazing this small space has so many amenities. Karl was a super host very rapid responses and easy check in. Plus I landed an Atlantic salmon at Lexington harbor. Perfect two night stay for me!! PS. If you need to take daytime naps and are a light sleeper the road noise from M25 during the day may bother you. Things are much more quiet at night. Enjoy.

I highly recommend staying at Karl‘s place. The cottage was very sweet and had all the items needed for our stay. It was great to be able to get up and make coffee or food while enjoying the beautiful view of the lake. We traveled a long distance before arriving, so we were relieved at how comfortable the bed was so we could get a good nights sleep. Communication with the host was easy. We will definitely stay here again.

Cottage 8 is a little place that offers a big opportunity to unwind. We loved our stay. Cottage 8 is in the middle of a horseshoe of cottages and might not be the best spot when the other cottages are occupied. However, our visit was in the middle of the week and we all but had the entire grounds to ourselves. There's a stairway down to a lower dock so you can sit right on the lake and even a ladder if you want to take a swim. There is an upper deck so you can sit on a bluff above the lake. Also a great swing by the firepit and a nice gas grill for cooking dinner. It was a perfect place for us to spend our 37th anniversary reading books, napping, drinking wine and grilling dinner. Harbor Beach isn't too far north and is a great place to rent kayaks. The ultimate test of a place is "would you return" and we would come back for another midweek visit.

On Lake Huron, but home set a bit back from the shoreline. Nice fire pit on Lake. Cottage is not grand in scale (only one bedroom is private, others sleep in bed and pull-out beds in family room), but is in really nice location, is very clean, and a great value. Host responds quickly to questions.

This cabin was a quant little place set back from the road and not far from home, we loved the "up north" feel and the beautiful view in the main room of the lake! We had a great time with our dogs on our private little beach. Carol our host was amazing, we had everything we needed at the cabin. We will be staying here again!!

Conveniently located, spacious and clean.

My husband stayed here while on a work trip. He had a great stay! He said it was a home away from home. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. Everything was easy check in and check out. Vivian and Gerald were great through the whole process. They responded promptly with all my questions I had. This was our first time booking a Airbnb and it was a for a work trip.

Ella’s place was amazing and was a perfect fit for my style and expectations. Had a quiet weekend away with my dog. There was a dog lead out in the back door to make it easy to let me dog out. Quick walk to the lake. It did take me a few tries to get the lock box to work on occasion but it wasn’t anything that couldn’t be handled on my own. The place was chilly when I got there (in March) but there were plenty of space heaters and blankets to warm right up. Would stay here again any time of the year !

We loved our stay! This funky little cottage had so much charm and was perfectly located near town and the beach which was fun to visit even in the winter. Little touches made the stay so enjoyable...plenty of towels, extra blankets, an electric skillet which made cooking morning pancakes a breeze (!), plenty of kitchen utensils and cookware, etc. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the rustic cabin and thought it was a very unique place. It is a beautiful home! We loved the decor and how close the place was to both downtown Lexington and Lake Huron.

This place is super funky cute! In a cute and quite lake cottage community with easy walking access to the lake front. We visiting for some late season duck hunting. The public access launch is just down the road. We were able to park our truck and boat in the driveway. This place seems newly renovated with a few minor details still needing to be completed. But overall it was a safe and comfortable place to sleep for our Lake Huron getaway.

Great little cottage only a block from the lake in a very quiet neighborhood. The owner, Gary, was very responsive and helpful. Loved it and would stay again. Travelers should take note that there is no wifi at the cottage. We had a surprise need to download a few documents and struggled do that using cell service. All in all a great place to chill for a long weekend or more.

Great cottage for a weekend get away!

Perfect location and peaceful. We went a weekend where the town was hosting an art fair which was wonderful. Windjammers is a restaurant on the water that has amazing food. We decided to eat there for dinner on our first night. I honestly have nothing to complain about when it comes to Lexington or Gary’s Airbnb. It was a nice little vacation.

Such a sunny and cozy spot! I had a wonderfully peaceful weekend at Alice’s cottage. The windows let in all the sunshine that Michigan allows at all times of the day. I loved the layout and how comfortable all the furniture was. The heated blanket in the bedroom was a lovely touch! The cottage is near the road which means you hear a lot of cars go by throughout the day, but I actually enjoyed the white noise. 10/10 would recommend to a friend and stay again.

If you're planning on cooking, be sure to bring your own knife. That's my only complaint. The stove is amazing. I feel like it's the perfect spot for either a solo business trip or a couple's getaway. It seems like there's room for some little ones, too. It was a super stay. We went to the beach just down the road. I've never seen Lake Huron in the winter. Took some driftwood and left a thank you on the beach.

What a quaint Cottage! Perfect for two people! This space was wonderful for our holiday. The owner even put up two stockings for us over the fireplace! I would highly recommend this rental for this area of Michigan!

I use Airbnb a lot and this is the best host I have met. Beautiful room with beautiful view and a comfortable bed. They have horses that you can ride on. You get to spend your time with animals if you want. On afternoons, you get to see their farm plane flying. They have healthy and organic food. The hosts make sure you have everything and make you feel at home. I would truly recommend to anyone to stay here. You won’t regret it at all. Amazing farm experience!! Thank you!

They have the cat name peanut and she is really friendly and super cute. She gave us a tour to their farm .They have horses and lambs , chicken and dogs in the farm . Highly Recommended.

It's a wonderful place to stay so close to the wineries and the beach. Their home is always clean and welcoming. We had a nice time drinking wine on the deck while watching the deer "playing" in the backyard.

This is probably my 5th time staying here and I love it. Lovely deck to chill and relax on and coffee every morning. My room was clean and ready for me when I got there and they are flexible with check ins.

Mike & Rebecca are great hosts! They are very friendly, down to earth & welcoming. Awesome location, about 2 miles from downtown Lexington & you also get the countryside feel. Best of both worlds. I loved being able to ride my bike into town. The house is amazing and the bedroom is as described. Bed is extremely comfortable. I enjoyed having coffee out on the deck and looking out over the pond. I can't say enough good things.

Comfortable space for an extended stay in the area. 15 minutes or less from Port Huron and 45 mins from Hall Road. Nice walking trail south of the condo complex. Only difficulty was finding the place at night the first night. Would stay again if needed!

WOW! Just WOW! If you want somewhere that is quiet and peaceful this is the place. The ranch is gorgeous and the cabin is everything you could imagine and more. I absolutely loved this place and couldn’t be more grateful for this experience. It was absolutely perfect for our little getaway. The pond and view from the cabin was breath taking. The tour that Jimmy gave us was so informative and an experience to remember. Jimmy made us feel like we were family and like we were at home. I cannot describe how fabulous this stay was. Beautiful cabin and experience! Driving a golf cart to our cabin was really fun and then having views of a pond with deer running around, horses there that we were able to feed, as well as being on a bison farm was unlike any other Airbnb we have stayed at. I would reccomend this Airbnb to everyone because it was really nice and very fun! Also the hosts had great communication and answered our questions super fast when we needed them.

Jimmy is an awesome host. His love and knowledge of bison was so inspiring to hear as he gave us a tour of his farm. The cabin is located in the back of his farm so it is nice and private and beautiful. Jimmy even started a bonfire for us, which was great as we were tired when we came back from dinner in nearby Lexington. We then enjoyed making our s'mores and relaxing while the stars peppered the sky above. It is a great get-a-way!!

Holy wow! This getaway surpassed all expectations. Jimmy is the best host and his tour of the ranch was much appreciated. Casey (the dog) is the sweetest and spent a lot of time with us. If you are looking for peace and tranquility, look no further. We have already spread the word to our friends and family and would love to return ourselves.

This is an amazing little cottage that has all the comforts of a hotel room, AC, hot water shower and full bathroom, with some great country amenities, including hundreds of bison, a fire pit and all the stars you can't see in the city. We are lucky to have bison, and Jimmy is a proud farmer and clearly a bison enthusiast. He likes talking to the kids about the animals, how they behave, how they were almost eradicated, and how the grow, live and move into the food chain off his farm. The experience is one part farm, one part bison live-in zoo, and one part nature preserve. Highly recommended for city people who want to have a light-lift farm experience. We were very comfortable, amused by the cute farm hound and horse, and slept well.

Jimmy Z Bison Ranch is terrific! There's so much to do on the ranch- beautiful grounds to tour, walking/cart paths, a beautiful pond, all the animals (bison, dogs, a horse, rabbits and deer, to name a few) and outdoor space to work out. Jimmy is an excellent host. He's a wealth of knowledge on the history of bison in the U.S. as well as just a really nice guy. We thoroughly enjoyed a girls' overnight in the charming cabin!

Walking down to the pier each morning to watch the sunrise with a hot cup of coffee in hand was priceless. The cozy home was great for our sisters weekend. Loved being right downtown with everything in walking distance

If you are visiting the harbor or downtown Lexington this is such a great location, walking distance from everything. The home is furnished with everything you need. This was truly a great find.

Perfect location, very quaint home with a vintage feel but totally updated bathroom ! Remember to bring your own towels or by them at dollar store on your way into town ! Main Street has several new, upscale and artsy stores to wander about through your stay. We also enjoy our time in Lexington!

This is a very spacious and comfortable home. We had family staying at the harbor so this was a 5 minute walk and 1 minute bike ride there. Other then having to bring our own sheets and towels, anything else we needed was provided. We will definitely return next year!!

This cottage is great! Close to Lexington and cute inside. Good size for three or less. Minimal beach access but it’s not far to drive. Watched ships sail by daily.

A beautiful and welcoming little cottage with the most amazing view! We had a great time for our little mother daughter getaway. Two things that people might want to know and its not anything Wendy can do about it or her issue but just to be aware of. Verizon wireless thinks you are in Canada so you will have NO cell service. Luckily I had brought my AT&T hotspot so we did have internet to send messages to family and check our emails and such. And then this year the water is SUPER high so there is NO beach whatsoever. At the barrier wall I would say its at least 3-4 feet deep. That as a bummer as we wanted to be able to just be at the beach at the cottage but there are quite a few parks and beaches from Port Huron to Port Sanilac to use. The cottage itself was so cute and clean and homey. Loved the telescope to check out the freighters going by. My 13 yr old did as well. Had a great time and would not hesitate to visit that sweet little cottage again!

This charming cottage was everything we hoped for and more! Wendy’s attention to detail shows how much she cares about her home and guests. The lake is high this year and the beach area small…but still enjoyable. There is a nice public beach a few miles away by the marina and live music in the park Friday nights. It’s definitely worth checking out the lovely town of Lexington. I see no reason we will not return…unless more family wants to join in the fun and we need a bigger place. In a word…wonderful.

Great quiet lakeside cottage. Front porch has roll-up awning so you can sit in shade and enjoy the view. No wifi or or verizon service (att ok); a perfect spot to detach and unwind. No beach space this year due to the high water level but you can still access the water if you want to swim. Good AC, grill out back, solid kitchen and great local tips!

Stunning views of Lake Huron! There’s a spacious deck with plenty of adirondacks to settle in. We took advantage of the shared fire pit and made some new friends. Cabin was clean and hosts were outstanding.

Karl and Robyn were excellent hosts! They communicated with us several times and even offered an upgrade for a discount when they found out we were celebrating a birthday. The cabins are in a great location and so cozy inside. Knowing the weather was going to be cold then went and purchased a space heater for our cabin. We loved it so much one of the people in our group booked a week this coming summer. Cabin 8 is super small but cute with a great view. Cabin 4 is right on the water with an amazing view and some upgraded touches inside. Cabin 2 is large with a living room area if you are having a gathering. No matter which cabin you stay in, it's a beautiful view. The charcoal grill and gas grill made available to guests were very welcome.

This is a great little cottage that is located between two great little towns with charming beaches and Marinas. The cottage was very clean and had every thing we needed. We had a few problems with the wifi initially but this was solved quickly....great spot and a comfy queen bed!

Great place to stay for any amount of time. We had everything we needed to cook--which saves us a lot of money on meals. We will definitely be back.

Saras place was just what my boyfriend and I needed. Right off the highway from the bridge, it was perfect spot to stop and relax. The apartment itself was extremely clean and tidy and Sara responded quickly and made sure we had everything we need. Will stay again for sure for future trips.

We enjoyed our stay at Carol's cottage in Lexington Heights. It was very close to the water and in a quiet neighborhood. Carol was very responsive to our many questions.

A great place to stay! It's very spacious inside and out. The kids and dogs enjoyed the trails on the property. In the evenings we enjoyed playing ping pong and hanging out by the bar. My wife and daughter enjoyed the training bed and work out equipment. The whole process was great, the owners were easy going and made it a great stay. Thanks again!!!

Place was great for our group of young adults. Able to have fun with a small party and enjoy ourselves without fear of neighbor complaints. Place was cleaner than expected, and everything was as listed. Would love to stay again!

The barn is as advertised. Dog Enjoyed the trails around the property! We used it as a home base for a family reunion so didn’t spend too Much time there but for our needs perfectly. Tracy was very responsive and helpful. Do recommend.

Don’t think twice, book now! The home and all of the rooms are much larger than the photos show, the location is great if you don’t feel the need to be right on the water, and the house has all of the amenities you need to take full advantage of each room...especially the large kitchen and dining area with huge center island! We stayed for 6 days to participate in the Silver Stick International Hockey tournament with our son and one of his teammates. The house was definitely a contributing factor to them being well rested and energized all week long, and possibly even a bit of good luck as they went 6-0 for the weekend to win the Bantam AA championship! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great week in Port Huron. Can’t thank Bob and Annmarie enough!

Wonderful home in a fantastic location! The house was a perfect home away from home for our young family. The kitchen, dining area, backyard, and master bed and bathroom are all bigger than the photos can really show. Bob and Annemarie were excellent hosts and they even immediately dropped what they were doing to come help us with a minor non-emergency issue. I would be surprised if we don’t stay here again.

This place is an a great area right by the water and a park we went to with our two little kids! Convenient store next door was a bonus too! Very clean and stocked up with essentials, toilet paper/ paper towel and plenty of kitchen supplies ! Speaking of kitchen... it is very open and huge! Lots of counter space, the island was perfect for conversations and apps :) They also have tv’s in each bedroom with Netflix which was great to have! Definitely recommend staying here you will love it ! Awesome hosts!

Stayed here during a conference at the Blue Water Convention Center. The house is less than 5 minutes away from the venue, and there is a convenience store right next door, so the location is great. I was also able to run errands nearby at Meijer and Staples...had great pizza delivery...no complaints! The house itself is adorable, and has a great coziness to it All the "extras" you might need are included, and the place was clean clean clean! These folks know what they're doing. 👍

This is not your grandparents cottage, this is an up north home. There were four spacious bedrooms (easily sleeps 12), one trendy decorated bathroom with a shower/tub, a modest sized kitchen with a table and three chairs, a large dining room table, small washer and dryer, and a comfortable main room with Wi-Fi and Netflix. The kitchen with fully stocked with utensils and pots and pans, a Keurig maker for coffee, and a thoughtful surprise waiting for us. Bonus, was how quickly the water got hot, when washing the dishes. There were so many features of the house we didn't even have time to utilize, two fire pits, outdoor seating, a 3 season room with games and another bed, and just a short walk to the beach. The water was up this year, so there was not much beach. If you've been to this area, you know that there is some black sand and lot of stones for the beach. Don't expect sugar white beaches like Florida. There is a small, private access to the water about 2 houses away. But we're able to find Petoskey stones and sea glass on the beach and take some great photos (in October). We had two families in this home (4 adults, 4 toddlers, and a baby) and had plenty of room. We can't wait to book again for the summer!

A great place with a large living space and good sized bedrooms. The house has a good sized yard and is situated in a neat little gated community. The place is nicely situated close to the little lakeside town of Lexington which has a quaint downtown. The place is kept clean and tidy and Donna was really great to us.

This little charmer in Lexington was awesome. High vaulted ceilings in main living area and master bedroom, plenty of room and space to move around, kitchen was well stocked with cutlery, pans, coffee, condiments, etc. We only stayed in the master bedroom and both beds were comfortable especially with the new sheets. A beautiful view of lake Huron from the front 4 seasons room which also has a comfy twin trundle bed as well as a couch to watch the sunrise with coffee or to read a book. The water can also be seen from the deck and is just a short stroll (1 minute walk) to the common area/small beach. We were there in September but were still able to sit in the adirondack chairs in the common area and watch the water while having cocktails. This home is in a private sub with about 11 other houses so very private and quiet even for September. The house is decorated very tastefully and even has an outdoor shower which would be a bonus if a larger group stayed (I think there are 12 sleeping spots total?) The bathroom is a nice size and so cute with a claw foot tub and good water pressure and no issues with hot water. There is a large flat screen TV in the living room and a smaller one in the master bedroom. Donna was extremely responsive and gave us a tour and a bottle of wine when we arrived as her first guests. It's about an 8 minute drive to downtown Lexington and not too far to Port Huron. I have been coming to this area my whole life in the summer and this was the best place we ever stayed. We will definitely be back next summer when it's warm. Only downside is it went too fast, we only stayed 2 nights and wished we could have stayed longer.

Sara was quick to respond to and quick to fix a problem we reported. It was a very cute downstairs area. The bathroom was small but clean.
