We travelled as 2 adults and one child to Natasha's and Andy's Zimbali Suite. I had a few questions prior to our arrival and Natasha replied almost immediately with all the useful information. The apartment was immaculate, beautiful finishes, super clean, and neat! The Suite is located adjacent to the Fairmont Zimbali Hotel and we were able to enjoy all that the Fairmont has to offer. Lovely gardens to stroll through, nature walks huge turquoise pools! Ayoba restaurant on the premises was a treat with their deck chairs, the sound of the ocean and delicious Mexican meals! The Apartment is a few minutes walk from the beach and the walk is lovely taking you through the Zimbali Hotel gardens and pool area. If I could make a suggestion, if would be only to make the location of the apartment more accurate in the listing. There was confusion at the Zimbali Gate and Fairmont reception as the listing stated "Milkwood Suites" and the map location was incorrect. The location was in fact "Zimbali Suites" and the map location was quite different. Turns out than "Milkwood" is another area in the estate. It took about an hour to clear this up and get the keys. Other than that, we had a lovely stay and we would happily return!

Absolutely worth it! Great and quite apartment, while enjoying hotel living and access to the pools, beach and restaurant. Would recommend any day!

Awesome pad in an awesome estate with everything you could possibly need, and a complimentary golf cart from the host to get around easily and comfortably. The host is very attentive and went out of his way to make my stay with my family one to remember.

The villa is great and as described,fully equipped for an enjoyable stay with splendid views from the two terraces of the villa or while you enjoy a swim in the splash pool in a hot summer day.Anesh is a great host ,very friendly and interactive. We have received lot's of great advices from his side of what is to see and what to visit in the surrounding area. The villa is spacious,clean and fully equipped.There is a golf cart which can be used to easily access all the resort facilities: Zimbali Fairmont pools, valley of the pools, Bushbuck pools, beach , golf course and tennis courts .Staying in the villa gives car and golf cart access to most of the facilities in the resort which is very convenient as comparing to the Zimbali suites in which we stayed earlier did not. The whole atmosphere with the pool and ocean view in the morning makes it a wonderful place to visit and enjoy every minute of your holiday.Also as this is the sanctuary site various animals can be seen roaming just at your doorstep: bushbucks,monkeys and many more. Amazing experience. Anesh is the best too as a lot of the experience depended on him as he was always available and replied to any question.Thank you once again and see you soon:) we will recommend this property indeed too:)Great choice of cafes and restaurants too inside the Zimbali resort itself too.

Amazing views, as described, well equipped and a gracious host!

Anesh gave an accurate description of the place. Our family had a comfortable stay. Serenity is the keyword. We appreciated that Anesh left us basic items for preparing our food. Towels were also supplied. Air conditioning throughout the house allows a comfortable stay. Large balcony spaces are present on each floor. Full Dstv package, PlayStation and extra view are available. The estate has several areas of activities such as : golf(set of clubs and cart available), valley of the pools, fair mint restaurants, bush buck area and trail walks. Access to the beach although it's unprotected. Ballito is a short (5min) drive away. Several malls in the area The animal farm was great for the kids. Overall a great experience. Highly recommend Anesh's place

Had a fantastic stay in Anesh's home. He was a very generoud host, his home is exactly as advertised, with all conveniences. He really helped out with information on what to do while in Durban and was available to answer all questions. He helped to make arrangements with housekeeper for additional service we required. In all, we had a fantastic holiday and would love to be back.

We spent a wonderful 6 nights at Anesh's place in Zimbali. The views were stunning and the house was perfect for our needs as a family of 4 with two children under 9. Anesh was available if we had any questions or issues, but we really had a very seamless stay so we had minimal contact. The estate really caterers for families with wonderful pools and a kids club with cafe. It is also very safe. It was great to see the wildlife on the estate. Lots of bushbuck, monkeys and bird life. We also saw a mongoose family carrying their young. The kids loved it! The estate is a short 2KM drive from the town of Ballito, which had some great restaurants, shops and grocery stores. I highly recommend this beautiful home in this beautiful location for a fun, family holiday.

Place is perfect for a single person traveling, new and modern, added bonus is use of Fairmont facilities. Television doesn't work and wifi barely worked which was problematic

Well managed and maintained facilities. I take my hat of to the management of the resort. Without them Zimbali would not be what it is.

The apartment is new and nicely designed, with all the kitchen appliances you might need. Wifi works on and off and the air con didn't work on the first day but Lee was helpful in getting it fixed and we got a fan in the meantime. The Estate itself is beautiful with many great pools and beach access.

My family and I have visited Zimbali a number of times and this place is the best we have stayed at. Frencel's home is a dream! It was spacious, beautifully decorated and the perfect place for some quiet time. A special thank you to Fleur who made our stay so lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. We will be back!!

The assistant who welcomed us at the welcome center was friendly and informative. The house if situated in a beautiful area, where you have a great view of the ocean. Also a sneak view of curious animals like a bambi dear, night owls and a few cheeky monkeys. The interior of the house is spectacular; each room with its own en-suite. I would come back anytime. It is such a lovely place to relax and enjoy. Shops are nearby if you quickly want to do shopping.

Stunning views, tranquil and enchanting, the house was perfect for a large group of people, without ever feeling cramped. The pictures do not do justice to the house itself, which is beautiful furnished. Not child friendly though, as there are a lot of sharp edges. Fleur was did a super job of receiving and hosting us. We spent a wonderful week with our family in this beautiful home. The setting is perfect, hidden in the forest a stones throw away from the beach and all of the great Zimbali amenities. What a fabulous stay. Modern, clean, secure and good value for money. Unit is small but equipped with everything you need. There are fabulous restaurants in the hotel but also in Ballito.

Smooth check in process , Vuyani was very helpful too. We had a lovely stay with my fiancé at Zimbali Suites. It was close to all amenities: Zimbali private beach,lodge, resort & ballito beach. Gateway Mall was a 20 min drive and generally a very safe place to visit. The upmarket apartment was clean and had very beautiful décor. I would highly recommend a stay here!

Everything Vuyisa promised was there, everything worked perfectly well. When you need a base to work from and overnight in, it's got everything you need. It's lovely and quite and I highly recommend this apartment.

The chalet was amazing. We have stayed in other chalet units in Zimbali, but this was by far the nicest. Denise was an awesome host, keeping in touch at all times and even providing possible weather conditions for our stay. Would definitely recommend this unit and host to others.

Awesome accommodation with exceptional service from the resort and host. The facilities and entertainment for the kids was great and catered for all ages.

Excellent accommodation with three large double bedrooms. Close to Durban and Umhlanga for additional site seeing opportunities. The use of the hotel and other facilities in the estate make this an excellent base for a holiday. Only downside is the excellent beach a few hundred yards from the accommodation is a non-swimming beach due to a very strong undercurrent.

My family stayed here during my wedding weekend in Zimbali. They absolutely loved their time at the house.

What's not to love about this place! It is a gorgeous little place in paradise!!

The Chalet and Estate is absolutely beautiful with scenic views that are breathtaking. Monkeys roam freely in the estate as well as other wildlife. The unit is definitely family friendly being very spacious and neat and clean. The unit is equipped with a gas braai which came into good use during the stay and is cleaned daily by the cleaning staff. Primary commute within the estate is via Golf Cart, ensure that the cart is working before arrival as it was out of service during my entire stay. You can travel with vehicle however majority of the facility area's require the golf cart. Check-in is very strict from the estate as well as the host side. The downstairs bathroom seemed to be just painted as well which left an overpowering paint smell in the chalet. Was disappointed with communication with host during the stay as when i tried to contact her, she did not take my call nor return it.

Denise's house is beautiful and a big thank you to her for for allowing me into her beautiful home. The house is beautiful, linen was clean and so was the entire house. The tranquility and serenity of the dense Ballito forest made the stay even more comfortable. The house is airconditioned which greatly helps with the humidity outside. Those who are planning on visiting should consider mosquito repellents when planning on sitting by the pool deck for sundowners. Looking forward to many more visits

We had a great stay! William was very welcoming and looked well after us! The house was perfect for us, it was very clean and had everything we needed. Zimbali is a perfect place for a family holiday, and is surrounded by lots to see and do!

A great house. Nice and secluded in the forest. Bedroom sizes were big. Having access to the golf-cart was great for moving around the pools of the estate.

I chose this house because it sounded large, seemed private, the entertainment spaces appeared well-connected and freshly decorated, it had nice additional amenities, looked like it had spectacular views, and was well-priced... and I was not disappointed! Tammy was very helpful in the days before we arrived, and check-in was unusually easy (I have found the visitors centre in Zimbali can be a bit frustrating in the past). I was however disappointed that one of the amenities that was initially listed (a Jacuzzi) was out-of-order without warning, but Tammy has since revised the listing, and like any house there were some small maintenance issues that need attention, which Tammy says she will have looked into. Overall the house and host met my expectations and I would happily stay there again.

We enjoyed this lovely place both times that we stayed. The location is ideal, suites comfy, and hosts are kind and attentive. It was great for our three young kids as well. I'll never get tired of the sound of the ocean and the wonderful well-furnished patio. Thanks for everything!

The house was very nice and spacious enough for our party of three adults and three children. It is well situated in Zimbali (pretty much half way between Valley of the Pools and the Bushbuck Club Pools) and has views of the ocean. The resort itself was also lovely and we had a very enjoyable time over Christmas and New Year. Although a little slow to send us directions, Silvio was helpful once we arrived answering any queries we had promptly. The only improvements we would suggest are a few minor repairs, but more importantly installing wifi and a dishwasher. Although the apartment was serviced wonderfully well by the housekeeper, on her days off it left an awful lot of washing up which needed to be done by hand!

Our stay at the beautiful zimbali lodge was an absolute experience of tranquility and where relaxation. We were welcomed with a warm heart and Silvio was most helpful! A stunning home that's boast beautiful scenery with open and spacious living and sleeping area! We will most definitely be coming back! Thank you for a wonder experience

Lovely place.

The house is located in a forest and you can hear the roaring of the sea while you sleep which is wonderful. The house itself is spotless and very spacious and comfortable. Although you can't swim in the sea in zimbali there are bathing beaches about 10 minutes away.

We had a great trip to RSA from Denmark during our summer break, and enjoyed a small week in Silvio's great house being neatly situated close to the Indian Ocean in the secured Zimbali Costal Resort/estate. We were welcomed by the maid who during our stay took good care of us, and the house, - she cleaned up, fixed the beds and dishes, and even washed our clothes, - she was a great surprise! (Remember to give her a good tip, she is worth it!). The months June-August are relatively cold in South Africa, and the house is facing East (so away from the sun), but great heating systems on the first floor kept us warm during the nights, and both the house and estate is really a pleasure to visit!

Our stay at this beautiful, tranquil location with breathtaking sea views was INCREDIBLE! Silvio was an extremely helpful & flexible host who went the extra mile to accommodate our every need! His immediate response to every query and his amazing hospitality truly surpassed all our expectations :) I would highly recommend anyone visiting SA or even those looking for a short getaway, to stay at this gorgeous villa set in the Zimbali Coastal Estate with access to the Valley of Pools, the Zimbali resort and its incredible facilities!!
