Ridley Creek State Park for short or long hikes/bikes up to 5 miles paved or off road into the wooded trails along a river, it is less than a 20 minute drive. Also Valley Forge State Park is 20 minutes away not only offers miles of trails and walking/biking paths but acres of open space for picnics, soccer, football and kite flying as well as the ability to take a tour of the historical battles fought on the land. One can take a drive tour, guided tour, or walking tour through the historic property. Both locations are great for kids, pets, biking, and family picnics.

The closet park to our home just 2 miles down Darby Paoli Rd, you can take a nature walk with kids and your pets is here. There is also fishing allowed in the pond and areas with picnic tables and open space to throw a Frisbee or kick a soccer ball.
