Parks & Nature

The lava is flowing and it is pretty awesome to see. Even in the daylight. You can bike ride, take a boat or helicopter or just hike in. One of the most unique things to see, for sure. You can do it in a day. We have gone in the evening and at sunrise and it really made no difference other than when you are most comfortable driving the island roads. The new saddle road makes it a lot easier to get there. Can be rainy over there and much colder so take appropriate clothing.
