Quiet and nice place with great coffee and decent food. Great view toward the city in clear days. You can also wash your car. Only driving will get you there. I love to go there on weekend days - have a coffee and read a book. It is not so budget friendly, but it is a great place.

Just take tramway No 5, 20 min from the apartment. take two stations in the direction opposite the center. At the last station of the tramway take the stairs and within 2-3 min you will be in the woods. The restaurant is visible just above the paved road.

А beauty salon. It is not near the apartment at all, but I vouch for these people with two hands. They made my day more than once in the past years. So if you need to get a haircut, manicure, pedicure or a massage - this is the place!

It is the nearest mall to the apartment. It is rather quiet, has nice shops and a really nice restaurant on the top. Plus if you miss movies on your trip, you can always watch one there.

Located on the outskirts of Sofia, Boyana Church consists of three buildings. The eastern church was built in the 10th century, then enlarged at the beginning of the 13th century by Sebastocrator Kaloyan, who ordered a second two storey building to be erected next to it. The frescoes in this second church, painted in 1259, make it one of the most important collections of medieval paintings. The ensemble is completed by a third church, built at the beginning of the 19th century. This site is one of the most complete and perfectly preserved monuments of east European medieval art.

Great, cozy bar. Live music on Thursday and Fridays. If you can get places by the bar - it is great. A nice place to start your night. Have in mind that it is a little bit tiny and becomes crowded. It is not near the apartment, but it is in the heart of the town. Also there is a greatly interesting bookstore next to it that works till 22:00 and have English books:)
