Winklespruit Beach, is clean, neat and quiet. It is safe for swimming and surfing, thanks to shark nets. Little ones love splashing around in the tranquil waters of the lagoon, which stretches all the way into the sea. The tidal pool is another hit for youngsters (and the young at heart) that want to spend their time enjoying sun, sea and spray. Good waves make Winklespruit a popular spot for local surfers and visitors that want to take advantage of the awesome sets on offer. This beach is great for other sports too; such as kayaking, hydrofoiling, and boating. On the sand, children can build sand castles, moms can get some sun, and everyone can enjoy a game of bat and ball.
