Unique National Trust island in Europe’s largest Natural harbour. It’s where the first scout camp took place and is inhabited by Red Squirrels.

A beautiful park with a large lake where swans nest and paddle boats can be hired. There are enclosed children’s play areas and a couple of cafes. Tennis courts and crazy golf are also there.

Worth a visit to walk to the most expensive beach huts in the UK. There is a land train that can take you to the beach if you don’t/can’t walk. Beautiful views across the river to Christchurch Priory. The Isle if Wight can be seen very clearly from here.
