Outdoor recreation

Moors Valley is a fantastic country park and woodland, only five minutes away. There are lots of different trails and walks to explore, including a great play trail if you are here with children. There are two different play areas, bike and Segway hire and Go Ape. It also has a visitors centre with a shop, cafe and toilets close to the car park and lots of space for picnics around the site. There is no cost to entry, however you do need to pay for parking. If you are looking for a day out walking, it is possible to walk or cycle to Moors Valley along the Castleman trail.

Blackwater is home to some of the tallest trees in the forest! There is a choice of trails (some buggy friendly) and a great place to explore. There are toilets in the car park and in the summer an ice cream van can often be spotted!
