Getting around
Streets are numbered east to west beginning at the river.
Lots of our streets are still brick. Advise slower speeds on these streets as some can be pretty irregular!

Bring comfortable shoes for walking.
Atchison is a little hilly in some places. It is fun to walk the historic home area to get an up close look at this wonderful gothic victorians.
