Another great place to walk on the beach but be sure to check the tide chart first. You can walk down to Caroline's restaurant, sit outside for breakfast or lunch and then walk back. Watching the surfers is great entertainment while you're eating.

Lots of fun, great food and definitely a must see. Lots of time they have surfing contests.

Drive over to the island and take a break in the sunshine. Eat outside and visit the sites. It will take you about half a day so plan to stay and enjoy everything the island has to offer.

Torrey Pines has a hang gliding port, a great hike down the cliff to the beach and a nudest beach off to the left when you get to the bottom. Wear your tennis shoes. It can be slippery but you definitely don't want to miss this hike. Be prepared to take lots of photos.

Drinks & Nightlife
Lots of shopping, great Mexican restaurants, not far from the airport so you can stop in there on your way to your flight and pick up fresh buttered tortilla's right off the grill. The people on the plane will hate you for this.

You'll love it in the Gas Lamp district. Tons of nightlife, lots of great bands and easy opportunities the have fun with friends. Almost anywhere you go has excellent food (except the Spaghetti Factory).

La Jolla is a cute little town for a nice walk around just down the road. You'll find places to eat, shop and walk. Don't miss La Jolla. It's really beautiful.
