Parking is expensive in Central Harrogate
Bus services are excellent, but Harrogate is a very nice place to walk. Some streets allow a maximum of 3 hrs parking using parking cards, available free in my holiday lets

The town is hilly and windy, even in the summer. Bring a scarf and a pair of walking shoes. We are in North Yorkshire so an umbrella can be useful
