Try the mackerel fish fry out here. It's a very simple & basic restaurant with some nice local spirits. Also it's the closest spot for a quick meal or drink

You should just ask him/her to get you the food plate & they'll get you most of everything that's available as a snack at that hour. You choose what you want to eat or eat it all or ask more of a particular snack should you like any specifically, it's all cool. The best time is definitely mornings to about 12pm as all snacks are freshly made in the mornings, so it's a cool early or late breakfast place.

So Amancio is a cool resto, but there is a more local & run down resto bar diagonally opposite (leftwards), closer to the jetty. It's not listed on Google maps so I can't get you the exact location. If you find it, you'll love sitting on the first floor porch which has barely 2 tables. Try the local spirits & any food on the menu. Ask them for what's special & recommended. Try it, you'll love it. *Sorry, but i can't quite remember the name of this restaurant & bar. Since this place shuts at about 11pm, there's a post quieter option to chill under the bridge by the river. It's a cool, lonely & quiet spot to chill at nights.

Parks & Nature

It's a cool place to be at with access to both the beach in the front & the sweet water lake at the back. It's one of my favourite places too.

Try taking a hike up the Chapora fort, but not from the regular route that takes you there. Go to main Vagator beach, descend to the beach, walk towards your right after descending, you'll see the fort straight up, take a hike from there. You'll love what you see from the top :) *oh yes, you should catch the sunset from the top & it takes a good hour to trek up, so plan your trip accordingly. Also make sure you descend before sunset, for it to be a safe hike back down.

Drinks & Nightlife

It's a cool place to hang out at on Saturday nights. There's live music, lots of food & drinking options, lots of shopping options. It's a night flea market, if you like that vibe & it's crowded.

There is a garage right next to Mapusa Urban Co-operative Bank, and just opposite Axis Bank. Try this https://goo.gl/maps/G4fotZGAztn The guys name is Sanju & he lets bikes on hire. Genuine guy, I've personally rented bikes on all my Goa trips from him.
