Mountain Biking, horse riding, bush walking/trail running you will find it all at The Dungog Common. It is 650 acres of pristine land on the western edge of Dungog. The Common has over 22km of single track. For more detailed trails please refer to Trail Forks. https://dungogcommon.org/ Fantastic mountain biking with over 30kms of single track and a purpose built flow track. A perfect location for horse riding, with single track, open grassland and varying terrain. With 650 acres the Dungog Common provides many tracks for bush walking and trail running. The Common also has a purpose-built fun track and currently has 2.2km of groomed flow track, with more being developed during 2020.

Chichester Dam was constructed between 1917 and 1926 and is a minor concrete gravity dam, upstream of Dungog, in the Hunter Region. One of the Hunter's most important freshwater storage facilities contributing about 35 per cent of the Lower Hunter's potable water supply.

Tinshed Brewery is a locally owned and operated brew pub in the heart of Dungog. It’s craft beer, great food and a relaxed atmosphere. Tinshed Brewery will focus of producing great craft beer. Our beers are all brewed onsite in our brewery. Using both Australian and European ingredients. We have a rotating tap list including a cider from various great producers of cider around this country. Tinshed Brewery offers great wine from local wine producers and wineries from al over Australia. We have some great little wineries in Dungog Shire. Our menu is full of great burgers and other gastro-pub styled food. Food that you can eat with your hands and enjoy every mouthful. Again our food will be seasonal, which is a great way to showcase our fresh locally grown produce where possible.

Found in Dungog town near the CBA branch.
