The town of Ohio is full of beautiful woods and streams. The West Canada Creek winds its way through it and is a well known fisherman’s dream. The town includes the Southern Adirondacks with numerous camps and lakes. Driving through it on Route 8 shows beautiful vistas.

Sightseeing

A quaint Adirondack village full of local stores and restaurants. Very popular with tourists but you’ll still see deer coming right into the village. The ride up Rt 28 is so lovely you won’t mind the long drive up.

The small ADK town is about 30 miles east of us. It has a cute old fashion department store with everything from Pendleton clothing to bug spray. The local grocery store has EVERYTHING and more! In the summers there are concerts held in the little park right on Lake Pleasant shore.
