Fill your gas tank and satisfy your sweet tooth in one stop. The fun country gas station about 8 miles from our location is the perfect place to do both. Giant ice cream cones in Vanilla, Chocolate or be daring and try a twist of both flavors!!

There are covered outside tables for you to sit and eat as well as live music most Friday nights! - Hidden gem - local secret for those of us who love food! Don't forget to try the bread pudding bites for dessert - they are to die for.....

Rent a boat and cruise the lake - you won't be disappointed. This marina is owned by a local family who all work there so you know they take pride in making sure everyone is well taken care of and having fun. Enjoy a pizza with a waterfront view before you take your boat out! The marina is literally 3 minutes by water from our cove and we visit there often. Well worth the 45 minute drive by land around the lake to get there.

Lake is great for swimming and lounging the day away - water is clear and refreshing on a hot summer day. Pack your suits and water footwear - it's a lake - there will be the occasional rock on the shoreline!
