Respect the island and wildlife
Ensure you keep a safe distance from turtles and sea lions.
Travelling with kids
Watch for dangerous surf and stay off the rocks!
There are many beautiful beaches here on Kauai and some attract people to climb onto rocks (Queens bath, Lumahai Beach, etc.) where it appears to be safe for 15 or 20 minutes. However, sets of waves do come through and will slam against the rocks and cause serious injury or even death. Please read all warning signs and when in doubt don't go out. Don't be shy and speak with the life guard on what to watch out for.
